"Well, bye." I stated.
Carl latched onto me before pulling away.
"Do you have to go?" Carl asked from his spot on the bed.
"I want to. It'll just be for a little while." I replied.
I kissed Judith on the cheek before Rick leaned in and pressed his lips to mine.
"I love you." I replied.
"I love you." He replied.

"Of course I'm still mad. I'm hurt, mad, and sad. I can't stop living, though. It happened for a reason. I'll always grieve it, but I have to move on." I explained.
"Wow, you're so strong. I don't know what I'd do if I lost him now," Maggie replied.
"I'll be here for you like you were there for me." I replied.
She smiled before standing up and walking into the kitchen.
We'd been at this place for a week now, and I missed everyone like crazy.
"Guys, I think I'm gonna head home today." I stated.
"Do you want us to go with you?" Maggie asked.
"No, I'll be fine." I replied, packing up my stuff.
"We'll probably stay a while longer." Glenn stated.
"Okay, I'll tell everyone," I replied.
"If you wanna come back you're more than welcome." Maggie replied.
I smiled before continuing to gather my things.

I sighed, finally back in Alexandria.
I looked around, not seeing a soul.
Walking down the street, Carol ran out of Rick's house to greet me.
"Get inside, quick." She ordered.
I obeyed, finding Rick in the kitchen with his back facing me.
Rosita looked at me from her spot, which was in front of Rick.
Her eyes widened before looking back to Rick.
Everyone seemed scared, and now I was scared and I don't know why.
"Rick," I mumbled, watching him slowly turn around.
Carol and Rosita quickly left the room, leaving me alone with him.
My heart broke as my eyes ran over his face, his cheeks tear-stained, his eyes are puffy and red, and he was a mess.
"What's wrong?" I asked, dropping my things.
"Carl had another seizure, and he didn't wake up after." He replied, his voice cracking.
"What?" I asked, my heart stopping.
"Denise has been up there more than an hour trying to help him." He added.
"Is he... Alive?" I asked.
"I don't know." He replied.
I wrapped my arms around him, worrying even more when he didn't hug me back.
"Denise said you gave him the wrong medicine. The last time anyone gave him medicine was when you were here. Before you left, Denise told you to inject the medicine." He stated.
"I gave him what she handed me." I replied.
"You gave him the wrong one." Rick replied.
"And he just had the seizure today? I've been gone a week. It's not my fault, I gave him what Denise handed me." I repeated.
"You were in such a hurry to leave you didn't even read what it was." He replied, crossing his arms.
"What the fuck are you saying? That I potentially killed Carl? Fuck no." I replied.
"What else does it sound like?" He asked.
"Are you stupid? If I gave him the wrong medicine, he would've had the seizures that day. Not a week later. Someone else must've given him medicine." I replied.
Rick took one last look at me before walking upstairs.
I scoffed, following him before he shut me out of Carl's room.

"You're right. It wasn't you." Rick stated, walking into the living room.
I nodded, continuing to read my book.
"I'm sorry I blamed you," He mumbled, standing in front of me.
I shrugged my shoulders before turning the page in my book.
"So now you're pissed at me?" He asked.
"Yeah, I am." I replied.
"I'd never do anything to intentionally hurt Carl, and now everyone thinks I did something." I added.
"Just read the label next time." He replied.
"What do you think I am? A doctor? I can't even pronounce the names on the medicine so how the hell am I supposed to know what it means? I did what Denise told me to do. It's not my fault." I replied.
"Calm down," Tara ordered, placing a hand on my shoulder.
Rick put his hand up before walking off.
"Oh shit." Tara replied.
"I'll give him the damn hand," I cursed, throwing my book and standing up before Tara pulled me back down.
