POSSIBLE TRIGGERS>>
"Why'd you come looking for me?" Shane asked, sitting down on my bed.
"I was pissed off royal at you, but I still wanted to find you. I knew you weren't safe at Woodbury." I replied.
"Where is everyone anyway?" He asked.
"They went back to get the others that were there." I answered.
"I thought he killed them all." Shane replied.
I shook my head 'no', watching as he pulled his boots off.
"How do you work the showers?" He asked.
I lead him to the showers, turning the faucet.
"Oh." He mumbled.
I laughed, turning to walk away.
"You do know that every moment spent with you meant the absolute world to me." He stated, cornering me against the wall.
"I know." I replied.
He pressed his lips to mine for the first time in forever, and I felt myself swoon just like the first time he kissed me.
"I'm sorry about everything, and I'm gonna make it up to you." He stated, pulling away.
"No. Don't worry about it. What's in the past is in the past, remember?" I asked, smirking.
-
I stood up from the flower garden, watching as a truck pulled up to the fence.
Confused, I watched as the man got out of the truck and walked up to the fence.
"Shane Walsh?" He asked.
"Who?" I asked, walking toward the fence.
"Sweet-cheeks, I know he's here." He replied, smirking.
"What do you need?" Rick asked, walking up beside me.
"Shane Walsh." The man replied.
"Who are you?" Rick asked.
"Richard." He answered.
"Richard, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave." Rick replied.
"I will when I see Shane." He stated.
"Hand me your weapons." Rick ordered.
"They're in the truck, man." Richard replied.
I looked behind me, Shane walking up.
"What's going on?" He asked.
"Do you know him?" Rick asked.
"Yeah. Get him out of here." Shane ordered.
"Okay, okay. I'm leaving." Richard replied, walking to his truck.
I looked to Shane, his arm wrapping around my waist.
I screamed, a bullet flying into Shane's chest, blood splattering onto my face which was inches away from where he was shot.
I dropped to my knees, putting my hand on the wound and applying pressure.
"Hershel!" I screamed, hearing more gunshots going off from Rick's gun.
"You're okay, you're okay." I rushed, watching as blood came up his throat.
Hershel came limping out, along with everyone else.
"Get inside!" Rick yelled.
Tears stung my eyes as Shane tried to talk.
"Shh, you don't have to talk." I stated, Hershel beside Shane.
"I-I love y-you." He choked, blood coming out of his mouth.
"I love you." I replied, tears streaming down my cheeks.
His eyes slowly closed, and he went limp.
Hershel checked for a pulse, and found none.
"No." I mumbled, more tears streaming down my cheeks.
This was even worse than when I thought he was dead the first time.
"Do you want me to do it?" Rick asked.
I shook my head 'no', reaching for my knife.
I slowly brought the knife to the side of his head, pushing it in his skull.
More tears escaped from my eyes, as I pulled the knife back out.
I dropped the knife, taking a deep breath.

RICK's POV
-
"I don't know where Samantha is, we looked everywhere." Glenn stated.
"We're going to find her, I don't care what it takes. Day and night, we're going to find her." I replied.
"She can't be stable. You know that broke her." Carol mumbled.
"I'll be back when I find her." I told everyone, walking out of the prison.
"Dad.. What if we don't find her?" Carl asked.
"We will. I'm not losing her either." I mumbled.
I ran down the road, my legs aching for I've been running and walking for hours.
I should've took a vehicle, but I figured I would be able to hear better without a vehicle roaring in my ears.
I remembered she was talking about her favorite place a while back, and Shane brought her the first time.
Following the signs, I made my way up to Cave Springs.
I groaned, rain pouring down on me, along with lightening.
-
I pushed my hair back, sliding in the mud as I reached the top of Cave Springs.
Squinting my eyes, I found Sam sitting right out in the rain, drawing something in the mud.
"Sam!" I called out.
Her head turned to look at me, and I wished I hadn't said her name.
From fifteen feet away I could still see the sadness in her eyes.
"Let's go in that cave!" I yelled over the rain, walking up to her.
She stood up and we crawled under the small cave.
"I just had him back, and I lost him again." She mumbled.
"I understand." I replied.
"Have you ever cried so much that you just can't anymore?" She asked, looking at me.
I nodded.
She flipped her arms over, revealing her old scars.
"I want to reopen these scars but I'm not going to because I know he wouldn't want me to." She explained.
"How did you even find me?" She asked.
"I listened to what you were telling Carol the other day." I replied.
"Oh." She mumbled.
"Do I have to come back? I don't want everyone's pity." She added.
"No, you don't. That's another reason I stayed gone for almost a week." I replied.
"But I'm afraid that if I stay away with my thoughts, I'll let them kill me." She stated.
"Then we'll go back home. I'll take you off somewhere for a few days. I'm not letting you go alone." I replied.
She drew three letters in the dirt before tracing over them again.
"KMO?" I asked.
"Keep moving on." She answered.
