Luke and Miranda were sat in their bathroom, a small white device between them. Both of their eyes were shut until Luke made an audible gasp loud enough for his girlfriend to hear and make her take a peek.
"I-I'm pregnant.
I'm pregnant.
I'm fucking pregnant."
After the repetitions, her surprised expression turned into an angered one.
"You're a bastard."
Luke's heart dropped, sending him into sympathy mode where he promptly lifted his arms out for a hug. At the exact moment he was about to fully embrace, Miranda pushed him so hard that instead of falling into the bathtub across from her, his head hit the top of the doorframe.
"'Randa, we can talk about this," he assured in a soft whisper, trying his best not to cry through the pain spreading around the back of his skull. Miranda took no more words from him, throwing the pregnancy test across the bathroom and running out.
"Where the hell is she going?" Luke spoke to himself, sliding down the shower door and slumping down with his knees infront of his chest.
