Jungah's POV
My head was down as my right hand spread flower petals over my sister's grave. I couldn't even dare to see even the slightest peek, I was affraid that I would cry my eyes out if I did so.
"Noona, come on..." Dongjae called as he pulled my hand and led me back to my seat. I felt pathetic, even my 4 years old cousin was stronger than me. "Noona, smile please!" He grinned while climbing onto my lap and squeezing my cheeks, and when I didn't do so, he sighed and hug me, "Noona, don't be sad... Jae will be sad if noona is sad..." his arms wrapped around my neck.
His words soothed me and I smiled softly, "Noona's sorry Jae... Noona won't be sad anymore, hmm?" I peck his cheek and he smiled widely and nuzzle his face on my shoulder.
The service soon came to an end and I walk off with Dongjae in my arms, "Noona, I wanna play later, okay?" "Hmm? You wanna play with noona?" "Yes!!" He squealed cutely, making me smile at him. Bu t suddenly auntie came to us with a rather anxious expression on her face, "Jungah... we need to talk" she said, sounding very... scared. And to add it, she never called me by my Korean name, she always calls me with my english name, Natasha.
I looked at her for a couple of seconds before regaining my composure back, "uhm... yeah, sure... Jae, go with the other kids okay? Noona will get to you later" "okay noona!"
After Dongjae ran off, auntie grab my wrist and drag me to somewhere quieter, less crowds to be prescise, "what is it auntie?" "Natasha, do you remember the story I told you about how you and your sister ended up with me?" "Uhh, yeah... you said that mom and dad left us both to you so we could live better here" I answered.
She suddenly drop down crying, "I-I'm sorry... I'm sorry! I lied! You both weren't given to me, I took you both! I freaking kidnapped you both because I was jealous! She had everything better than me! I was supposed to be with him, not her!" She screamed while crying on the ground, "w-wha-?" I was in pure disbelief, I couldn't comprehend anything that was just said to me, my brain was twirling around and my breath hitched, "w-why?" I asked.
She looked up at me, her face stained in tears and choked sobs escaped her lips, "I just had to... I had to take the trophy they both had! That was the only way for me to feel better about myself!!" She cried once again, "Your sister... she found out before she died... she was going to take you with her to go to korea to search for your parents... and brother..."
The last word shocked me nearly to death, "I... I have a brother? I FUCKING HAVE A BROTHER AND YOU TOOK US AWAY FROM HIM!?" I finally screamed and tears start dropping from my eyes, anger and disappointment building inside me, "I-I'm sorry, I didn't meant for this! I was b-being... selfish..." she cried.
I did nothing, even though I was resisting the urge to scream at her more. Instead, I storm away from her and walk to Dongjae who was with the other kids, "come on Dongjae" "where are we going noona?" "Home" I smiled while holding out my hand, he smiled back and held my hand.
We both walked the rocky path of the place that led us out, "what did mommy told you?" He asked. I took a few seconds to think, "nothing important" I smiled once again, not wanting him to become nosy over my conversation.
Both me and Dongjae took the subway to go back home and he slept during the ride with his head resting on my lap as he snores peacefully.
As I look out to the scenery, I suddenly began to think about my brother... whom I never met nor remember about. It saddens me to know that he may not know about me, there's a good chance that mom and dad didn't told him anything about neither me or my sister.
I do wanted to meet him, but I didn't know where he is nor where mom and dad is.
As soon as we arrived home, I put the sleeping Dongjae on his bed, he was asleep the whole way back to the house so I had no other choice but to carry him.
I walked back to my shared room, rhe one I used to share with my sister before she... passed away.
Our room seems neat at the first glance, but dusts started piling up and the air in our room was no longer clean, it was a mixture of humid and dirty.
"Well, it's better to clean rather than being overly stressed..." I sighed and proceed to go out to get the cleaning utensils.
After what seems like half an hour of cleaning, our room felt nice once again.
I bent over to clean under my sister's bed, I took several box out to make it easier for me to clean but a particular box caught my attention.
There was a writing on top of the box's lid, it was written "Mission Impossible : Tracing the Past" which made me laugh because my sister tends to write stupid things over some important things.
She's an animator, which means she's creative and have an open mind about stuffs which also means she's also weird and irrational... most of the times.
We share almost everything together and to be honest, I have never seen this particular box, ever. Even before she was rushed into the hospital.
Nevertheless, out of curiosity I open the lid to see a pink letter on top dozens of files and other envelopes, "what the hell is this..." I mumbled to myself.
I open the letter and read it,
'Dear Jungah/Natasha/idiot
THIS IS HUGE MAN!!!
Nahh, not that huge, but could still be considered as huge ㅋ
I found out about our brother and our parents!
Appareantly mom and dad still lives in America, L.A to be prescise BUT!! Joshua (our handsome brother *LOOK AT THE FREAKING PICTURE I PUT IN THE BOX! IF WE WEREN'T RELATED, I'M SO DATING HIM! I got dibs aight??) Lives in Korea...
Along with a dozen of other boys idk why though, George found the information and I was near on flipping when he said that.
So, I've made a mission for the both of us!
We are going to play undercovers like what we used to do during childhood BUT it gets better because we are travelling!
Sadly, you will be the only one to be able to travel, I'll tag along in a spirit form, which means...
EXPENSE FREE!!!!

First, you will go to L.A to visit our dear mommy and daddy, and then you'll stay there for a week before going to Korea to Joshua!

Flight tickets, accomodations and everything else has been settled and the files are all in the box SO YOU BETTER NOT LOSE IT OR ELSE I'M GONNA FLIP.

By the end of the letter, I was weeping my eyes out and choking sobs. I took a look at the stuffs inside and I could see several leters, named 'when you're lonely', 'when you're sad', 'tickets', 'extra extra extra EXTRA money for you little shopaholic', 'map', 'plans' and lastly a pink letter with 'GIVE THIS TO JOSHUA HONG' written on it, huge if I may add.
I put all those back into the box I found and hug it while continue crying, "I-I promise you... we'll reunite with them again... you can count on me... I won't let you down..." I took a deep breath before wiping my tears away and smile slightly at the box in my hand, "Thank you sis... thank you very much"
