When Robyn got accepted to New York arts academy to study singing and dancing she was excited she was so glad to leave Los Angeles.
New city. New School. New life.
She couldn't wait when she told both her parents she nearly shook with excitement even through they were gonna be sad that their little girl was going off to college in the big apple they were also very proud of her that she was achieving her goals.
Moving day came and Robyn packed all the stuff that she needed in black three duffel bags. Her parents took her to the airport with her brothers in tow to say goodbye and she has to come back for the holidays to which she was in agreement. She hugged and kissed all of them waiting for her flight at the LAX terminal. Soon enough she got on the plane heading to the city that never sleeps
Chris Brown. He could sing, dance, write music, produce, direct music videos, and do graffiti; as you could probably tell he was a guy with many talents. He was the popular guy in NYAA, Very accomplished sophomore, he was on the dean's list and all the girls flocked to him like birds. He was enjoying the college life and all its benefits. Today was freshman week that meant fresh meat entered the building.
Chris and Trey were scoping out the dorm hallways to see all the bad ass women trying to find their doors or meeting their roommates. "Damn you see that girl over there." Chris said looking at a girl who was looking for her dorm. She was gorgeous.
Trey stared at the girl who was now struggling trying to carry her duffel bags. "Yeah shawty bad as fuck." Chris nodded as saw her still struggling with her bags. "Aye I'll catch you later I'm going to help her out."
"Alright man." Trey smiled.
Chris headed over to her and picked up her bag before it fell on the floor again."Hey let me get that for you beautiful." Robyn blushed as she saw the with the SnapBack on his head smile up at her taking her two bags and putting them on each of his shoulders.
They stopped at room 220 and Robyn used her keycard to get in the door, once they were inside Chris dropped the bags. "Thank you...ummm."
"Chris Brown." He smiled and held out his hand for me to shake it. "Robyn Rihanna Fenty." She said shaking his hand.
They both stood there in silence for 2 minutes until they heard a female voice. "Hey you must be my roommate, I'm Melissa Forde." The girls shook each others hands. Melissa looked Chris up and down. "You may leave Brown."
"Stop blocking Mel. But I'm get up outta here hope you like NYAA, Robyn I'll see you later." He winked at her which caused her to smile even more.
"Someone has a crush already." Mel chuckled at Robyn teasingly.
Robyn shook her head and headed to her bedroom and unpack her stuff with Mel's help of course. The whole time she was getting settled all she could think about was Chris. She hoped that she would see him more often, it was way too early to tell but she couldn't lie to herself if she didn't say she wasn't feeling him. NYAA was gonna be an exciting experience.
It's been two weeks since classes started Chris was in his art class doing a mural on the art room wall. His art professor liked his graffiti art so much that she wanted Chris to paint the room Chris agreed if only he could get college credits. The professor agreed and made it one of his art projects.
Robyn was looking for the dance room so she practice her moves to audition to an up and coming showcase. Walking into a room she heard singing she looked up to see a shirtless guy covered in artistic tattoos. He was wearing a SnapBack on his head and listening to his music on his iPhone. He had a beautiful singing voice and his falsetto was perfection. Robyn walked over to see who the beautiful male voice came from. She was surprised when she saw Chris face as his eyes were closed singing his heart out.
He turned around feeling a presence behind him. He pulled out his EarPods out of his ears and smiled up at Rihanna. "Hey Robyn how long you've been here?."
"Just a minute you have a nice singing voice." She grinned
"Thanks, so you take art?" He asked.
Robyn shook her head, "Oh no I'm just looking for the dance room."
"Oh, well can I assist you in taking you to the right place?" He placed his paint can down on the floor.
"But don't have to finish your art piece?" She nodded her head in the direction the mural.
Chris smiled,"I can finish that up later the professor doesn't need it to be done right now, so are you gonna take me up on my offer to escort you to the dance studio."
"Okay." Rihanna said grinned. Chris grabbed and walked her out to the elevator to go to the 2nd floor dance studio. We they got on it was awkward silence neither one of said anything. 2 mins later they arrived to the destination and Chris once again grabbed her hand leading to the dance studio.
"Well...here we are I hope your...ummm dance amazing...I'll see you later." Chris was nervous he didn't know what else to say, he never got tongue tied in front of a girl this caliber, it was rare that a girl could do that to him. She'd to be special to get him this way.
"Thank you Chris, I hope that mural your painting is amazing."
"Thanks Robyn." He grinned with a chuckle. Robyn was about to walked in her dance class before Chris called out to her, turning back around to see what he wanted. "Yeah?" She gave him a small smile. "I was wondering if you would like to go out with me."
Robyn nodded her. "Of course Chris I would like that."
Chris had a big grin on his face."Good how's this Saturday?"
"Perfect." Robyn smiled. Chris did a silent happy dance, he couldn't believe she said yes to a date with him and already had it in his mind that once the date they would go on plenty more dates in the future.
Saturday evening
Robyn rolled her eyes and shook her head at her roommate. "Robyn Chris is a player I don't know what you see in him." Mel said as she watch Robyn fix her now reddish curly hair in the mirror. Robyn faced Mel. "Maybe I see different ever though of that? I really think he's a real nice guy who asked me on a date and I said yes."
Yeah...I know...but-" Robyn cut her off as she walked over to the side of her bed to gather belongings to put inside her purse. "Mel I'm not stupid I hear what's being said around campus about him, but I'm not basing his character on rumors, I want to see for myself if he's actually a really nice guy I don't judge and you shouldn't either." She pointed at her. Mel sighed realizing that Robyn was right. "Okay, okay I hope I'm wrong and he's really a gentleman tonight or I'm kick his ass." Robyn chuckled at Mel's seriousness.
Soon there was a knock on the door Robyn went to get it and opened it to see a smiling Chris looking good in his outfit. "Hi BabyGirl." Chris said looking at Robyn in her outfit for today; she wore a red polka dot sheer long cover up that was only point up twice at the top and on the bottom half showing off her toned stomach with a pair of jean short shorts and heeled Steven Madden sandals.
"Hi Chris you ready to go." She asked smiling at his face. "Uh yeah definitely." She smiled back at her as he became somewhat nervous looking at the beautiful girl standing right in font of him. "Alright bye Mel don't wait up." She said. Mel looked at her then at Chris. "Have fun you two not too much fun though." She called out. Robyn closed the door letting out a small chuckle and a smirk.
Chris lead Robyn outside to the campus parking lot where Chris parked his black jaguar. "Nice car." Robyn grinned. Chris opened the door for her getting ready to take on a date that she would never forget. Getting into the car himself Chris looked over at Robyn and smiled as she gave him one back. "Ready BabyGirl." He started up the car. Robyn nodded "Yes I'm ready I'm ready for anything you have in store for tonight." Driving away from the dorms Chris thought about the date they were going to have tonight and wondered if they could continue this after he did his duty of pulling off the perfect date. Robyn was a diamond and BabyGirl deserved the best and he was definitely the best man for her she just didn't know it yet; so her being here at NYAA was going to make it even more possible.
