Lazy Quality Time - 3L (Fluff)
Music quietly trickled into Martyn's ear from his earbud, listen to music with Ren. Since both of their ears, but mainly Ren's, were sensitive, the music was on a low volume. Ren was reading a book that Martyn didn't care for, and Martyn watched Ren read. Martyn's hand found their way into Ren's hair, and he was soon scratching behind Ren's ears. The wolf hybrid leaned into the touch, howling quietly, which completely melted Martyn's heart. As Martyn continued to scratch, Ren's tail became a whirlwind as he continued to howl. Eventually, when Martyn stopped scratching, Ren stopped howling, and realizing what had just happened, his face went red. Martyn laughed as Ren turned his head away, yet his ears perked up as Martyn laughed. Ren slowly turned his head back to Martyn, and Martyn peaked him on the cheek, and Ren smiled. Ren gave Martyn a quick kiss to the lips, before returning to his reading. Martyn rested his head against his King's shoulder, resting his eyes.
"I love you Martyn."
"I love you too Ren."
They had each other, and that was all they needed.

Martyn: Uh 15 minutes ago, why??
Ren: Really? That recent?
Martyn: Yeah *voice crack* is that a issue? *starts crying again*

Ren: You're right, Martyn.. Violence can't be the answer.
Martyn: Correct, Ren. Now, on to the next lesso-
Ren: Violence is the question.
Ren: And the answer is yes!

Watchers - LL (Hurt/Comfort)
A scream echoed throughout the Shadow Lands as Martyn was about to leave.
It was a scream that Martyn could identify as Ren's.
He turned around, sprinting back to where Ren was.
As he got back, he saw a horrifying sight.
A Watcher had grabbed Ren in their arms, and were holding a knife to Ren's neck. Ren was squirming in their grasp, and fear was shown in his eyes. Martyn's blood boiled with rage as he saw his former King trying to get killed by a Watcher.
"Get the hell AWAY FROM HIM!" He screamed, his eyes turning green. The Watcher seemed to notice him, and they disappeared, dropping Ren to the ground. All of Martyn's rage disappeared immediately as he saw how shaken up Ren was. He rushed forward to Ren, kneeling down in front of him.
"Ren, it's okay, they're gone now." Martyn quietly spoke, pulling Ren into a hug. Ren was shaking, burying his face in Martyn's shirt, quietly crying. Martyn comforted Ren with soft words as Ren started to calm down. Martyn took that as a good sign as he saw that Ren was slowly shaking less and less, until he completely stopped shaking. Ren's face reappeared from Martyn's shirt, wiping the remaining tears off his face.
"Are you feeling better now?" Martyn asked, running his hands through Ren's hair. Ren nodded.
"Yeah, I'm feeling better now." He replied, and Martyn smiled, hugging Ren again.
"I'll explain everything later. For now, let's get you patched up." Martyn smiled, helping Ren up. Ren leaned on him as Martyn led them to the Shadow Tower.
Oh boy, him and Grian were going to have a field day with the Watchers later.

Martyn: No.
Ren: Is it Voldemort?
Martyn: It's not Voldemort.
Ren: You haven't mentioned wizards once this conversation, so I'm gonna have to assume it's Voldemort.

Ren: So, you've finally arrived-
Ren: Here to save prince-
Ren: I've been waiting for this day-
Ren: Stop skipping my dialogue-
Ren: Seriously, stop-

Ren: Everyone.
Martyn: What?
Ren: I told everyone that I love you.

Spring - 3L (Angst)

Martyn sobbed as he held the body's face in his hands.
It was the final battle, yet Martyn couldn't take it anymore.
Ren's dead body was laying on the grass, arrows piercing through his body.
They had been together since the start, and now, Martyn had just lost Ren.
His ally.
His King.
His lover.
So Martyn continued to sob, not caring about the battle going on behind him.
He didn't even care that Scar was right behind him, watching him grieve.
Scar, Ren's killer.
While yes, Martyn so desperately wanted to kill Scar to avenge Ren, he just couldn't do it.
He had lost all sense of what he wanted to do the moment he saw Ren's body fall to the floor.
So, even while Ren's killer, Scar, was right behind him and ready to attack, Martyn stood up, and he ran.
He ran as fast as he could, glancing at Ren's decaying body for the last time, and Scar took off after him.
He was being chased, yet Martyn didn't care.
He didn't care if arrows were starting to pierce his body, he didn't care that Scar was getting closer and closer to him, he just continued to run.
Until the final arrow flew, and hit Martyn.
Martyn fell to the ground in a heap, dying.
The Red Winter was over, and now, came spring.
Sighing, Martyn looked at the darkening sky for the last time.
"I'll see you in another life, my King.."
