Kyoka wakes up one morning and once again gets hit with a brutal sound
Kyoka: Argh!
Kyoka's parents run in (same parents from Mha)
Kyotoku: What's wrong
Kyoka: oh you know just the usual
Mum and dad share a worried glance and do what they always do they cover Kyoka's ears and slowly but surely allow her to relax
Kyoka: Thank you
Mika: it's no problem at all Kyoka but now why don't you get ready for school ok
Kyoka nods and gets up
Her parents leave
Kyoka lifts her hand up and blasts out a small wave basically acting like a small gust of wind to release the sound she absorbed
Kyoka: ahh much better
Kyoka comes downstairs and is eating breakfast
Her parents start looking at her without talking
Kyoka: uh what
Mika: well Kyoka you know we love you
Kyoka: yeah
Kyotoku: but these powers of yours they are
Kyoka sighs: I know you both don't like them

Mika: Yes it's true in fact you waking up screaming because of noises that you can hear that are coming from far away we find that-

Kyoka unfazed: Yeah when you can hear everything in this house it's no hard to learn secrets
They both look shocked
Mika: so you know that we have found a solution

Mika: yes it would please consider this
Kyoka sighs: ok I'll do it
They look happy
Kyotoku: oh this is amazing I'll call them right now
The dad runs off
Mika: you are being really brave Kyoka thank you
Kyoka: if it's for you two I don't mind being normal
The mother and daughter smile at each other
Soon Kyoka is taken to a weird lab
Kyoka is a little bit scared but Mika grabs her hand and guides her into the lab
Mika: uh excuse me sir here she is
A scientist turns around
Scientist: Ahh so this is Kyoka, you're the special girl
Kyoka: that's one of the things I've been called yes
The scientist looks sympathetic
Scientist: Yes I can imagine it's not been easy but I promise soon you'll be normal and this nightmare will be over and your family will get the money
Kyoka: Money?
Mika: yes Kyoka we where hesitant at first since this is experimental but as had a lot of previous successes and they've paid parents of kids like you just think about it soon we can not only have your powers gone but we can live an even better life then we did before
Kyoka looks unsure: alright how long is this going to take
Scientist: it will take a maximum of three years and your daughter will have to stay here for that time as well
Mika: Yes that is what we agreed on
Kyoka: wait three...years
Scientist: yes we know this seems like a long time but trust us the process will be well worth it and your parents can visit you at anytime
Kyoka nods: ok if that's what it takes
Mika kisses her daughter on the forehead
Mika: We will be here whenever you need us ok

Two months later
As Kyoka navigates through her daily routine in the laboratory, she follows a structured schedule that has become all too familiar to her over the months of her captivity. Each day begins with the same monotonous rituals, clearly designed to keep her compliant and under control but she's doing this for her parents so she can handle it
In the morning, Kyoka awakes up. She rises from her bed and food is brighten to her, where she's served a simple meal that's good enough to keep her going but not really any good
Kyoka: Ugh same thing everyday but I suppose it's better than school meals
After breakfast, Kyoka is escorted to a sterile examination room, where she undergoes a series of medical tests and procedures under the watchful eye of the laboratory's staff. They administer medication
Kyoka: "I hate taking those pills... They make me feel so...weird
Despite her distaste for the medication, Kyoka knows better than to refuse. She swallows the bitter pills without complaint, resigned to endure whatever indignities are thrust upon her in the name of her future.

In her small room within the laboratory, Kyoka sat on the edge of her bed, her mind consumed by doubt and uncertainty. She gazed at the pills laid out before her
Kyoka: what do these pills even do
With a deep breath, she reached out, her fingers trembling as she picked up one of the small white tablets. For a moment, she hesitated, the weight of her decision bearing down on her like a crushing weight. But then, with a resolute determination, she swallowed the pill, hoping against hope that this time, it would be different.
