Peter nodded, a sheepish smile forming on his face. "Yeah, I am. I really want it to go well, you know?"
Tony clapped a hand on Peter's shoulder. "Trust me, kid, it's normal to feel nervous on your first date. But remember, MJ likes you for who you are, so just be yourself. She wouldn't have agreed to go out with you if she didn't like you already."
Peter's shoulders relaxed a bit as he thought about Tony's words. "You're right, Tony. I just need to be myself."
Tony grinned. "That's the spirit, kid. Now, go ahead and get ready. You don't want to keep MJ waiting."
Peter quickly changed into a nice shirt and a casual blazer, wanting to impress MJ but not appear too formal. He took a deep breath and mustered up his confidence. With Tony's advice echoing in his mind, Peter made his way to the lobby of the Avengers' Tower.
