*Lexi's P.o.v*
As the clock was ticking and a day passed me and baby Corahyn was able to finally come home. Julian and Brian moved all my stuff back home where i belonged with out any drama. I layed in my queen sized bed breast feeding Corahyn. God this shit hurts! I wanted to scream but i didn't. I filliped through the channels looking for something good to watch. Finally i gave up and told myself what ever channel i land on next i would watch. The show i began to watch was the marathon of Honey Boo Boo. I loved that little girl. I watched laughing at almost every thing they said and began to miss Georgia. I missed the atmosphere, the southern hospitality, the good cooking that i used get from the neighbors who knew my situation but wouldn't take me in. She was a sweet lady about in her mid 50's when i left, she had glowing brown skin, straight white teeth, snow white hair, and a thick southern accent. She also had a candy shop which all the kids would go to after school. Ms. Belle was what i called her. She didn't take me because she had too many kids that she had took in, i think 13 kids at the most.. and her house wasn't that bad. Hell none of our houses was that big. She knew my mom was on drugs and she knew that all i needed was a little help. Cutting into my thoughts a few knocks at my door. I thought it was corahn considering her was suppose to be here a few hours ago with some baby formula. But Langston was the who popped in with a couple of my boxes in my hand. He looked as if he was struggling.
"You ok over there?" I asked chuckling.
"Yeah girl, what the hell you got in these damn boxes?" Lang asked dropping the boxes in the middle of the floor and then came towards me. He plopped down on my bed and faced towards me rubbing my leg.
"Ugh what are you doing?" He said moving my leg.
"Don't act like you don't like it." He said trying to catch my leg.
We both began laughing but then we got serious. I took Corahyn off my boob pulled up my bra.
"BOOBIES THOE!" Lang exclaimed.
"Shut up you act like you never seen boobs in you life." I said burping Corahyn.
"Not ones as big and red as yours."
I shook my head laughing.
After 5 minutes of burping she finally burped and i was able to wrap her up in her blanket and cradled her.
"Has she opened her eyes yet?" Lang asked moving closer to see her face.
"Yeah a little bit her eyes are like a hazel brown."
"Oh." He stroked her cheek.
"Yeah her eyes might change when she gets older."
"Ohhh ok."
"Yeah but was Corahn at home when y'all went over there to get my stuff."
"Yeah he was all dressed up and he told Indi he was going over somebodies house but i cant remember what the name was."
"Wow he was suppose to be getting me baby formula and spending time with his daughter."
"Are y'all still together?" He asked.
"We are just trying to work it out for Corahyn's sake."
"Have you ever herd of Co parenting?"
"Yes but i don't want my daughter to grow up in a separated home.. I know how it feels not to know my father."
"But dont you want to be happy?"
"Yes but its a sad life seeing half of the kids at your school being picked up by their father or mother.. or having to sit in the back of the classroom waiting for the teacher to give you a ride home but she has to do parent teacher conferences and you see all those moms and dads coming in with dresses and suits but my mom was too cracked out to even remember that i was at school."
"Wow you never told me that before."
"I never told anyone because i feel like the past is the past."
"But your past is making you unhappy."
I said nothing.
"You don't realize that do you.. you rather be with a deadbeat as nigga who is making you so unhappy when you have someone.. caring.. loving.. and willing to--- to make you--- happy"
Maybe was right. Well actually he is right. But he is with Bee Bee and I'm not one to take another girl's man. Or am i? Before i knew it he tilted my chin up slightly, leaned in, and his soft lips brushed against. I felt weak again. Its been so long since i felt this feeling. As much as i was giving in i still inside felt anger towards the one i was suppose to be in love. I pulled back quickly.
"Whats wrong?" He asked looking concerned
"I cant."I said.
"Why?"
"Your in a relationship... im in a relationship.."
"Oh yeah i was caught up in the moment my bad." He said scratching head.
"Are you happy?" I asked.
"I don't know.. i mean me and Bee Bee really ain't been--- in love lately."
"Oh.."
"but when I'm with you." Lang moved closer and wrapped his arm around me waist, "i fell like you can give me that love."
"Really?"
"Forreal Forreal"
i placed Corahyn on my chest and let Langston's head rest on my thigh. After stroking his un cut hair i began to drift off to sleep.
* 3 hours later*
(Baby whines)
"ummmm?" Corahn said standing in the door way of my room.I didn't realize that i was asleep for 3 hours, with Langston. I jumped up and tapped Langston to get up. When he finally got up he looked around rubbing his eyes.
"Oh shit what time is it?" He asked.
I checked the time on my phone and replied, "Its 10:45."
"Pm?" Lang asked.
"Yeah."
"Shit i gotta go." Langston said. Before he left he gave me a hug and said "Thank you for you know talking to me.." He stopped and looked at Corahn, he then patted him on the back and said "My bad bro." Then he disappeared out my room. Corahn walked towards me and plopped down on the edge of my bed. Corahyn was still whining so popped out my boob and began breast feeding her. While I breast fed her corahn looked at me in a deep stare.
"What?" I aksed.
"Foreal Lexi?" He said shaking his head.
"What corahn, What?"
"You a trip." He said shaking his head.
"I'm a trip?"
"Yeah.. that's what i said."
"My nigga you a trip! You were suppose to be here hours ago!" I spat back at him "where were you?"
"Don't worry about that shit, why the fuck was he in your room all cuddled up with you?"
"I don't know.. why weren't you here 3 hours ago.. answer that!"
"i dont gotta aswer shit!"
"OK then just like you i don't have to answer SHIT!"
"Whatever man you fucked him?"
I didn't answer him.
"yeah.. admit it you fucked him.. your exactly like how every one says you are--- a hoe!"
"HOLD UP!" I took Corahyn off my boob and placed her in her crib. I then got up off the bed and stood right in front of him.
"IM A WHAT NIGGA!" i yelled
"move man."
"IM WHAT!"
"move."
"CORAHN YOU A LITTLE BITCH!" I yelled in his face. Suddenly i felt force being applied to my body and me laying on the floor.
"DIDNT I TELL YOU TO MOVE!"
I felt a sudden range in my body. My head felt it was spinning around and a sudden strength came upon me. While was turning around to sit back down i got up, ran towards him, and gave him a mouthful my punches. I didn't stop until he grabbed my wrists. I back up and took a good look at him.
"YOU GOT ME FUCKED UP!" i yelled.
Suddenly my auntie rushed in with a baseball bat, her house coat, and her head scarf. Julian was standing right behind her with his fist balled up and fight written across his for head.
"Whats good bro..!" Julian said mugging.
"Yeah what the hell is going on!" My auntie screamed.
"Nothing." I said in raged.
"It don't look like nothing! y'all been fighting?"
Corahn rolled his eyes and nodded holding his jaw.
"Damn bro she beat your ass!" Julian exclaimed, "You ready to take another ass whoppen?"
Corahn shook his head and stormed out of my room and a few minutes later the front door slams.
"Did he put his hands on you?" My auntie asked dropping that bat.
I said nothing. I just looked at her in the eye.
"Obviously mama... she beat his ass didn't she!" Julian said laughing.
"Julian get the hell out! GET THE HELL OUT!"
Julian walked out chuckling and my auntie came towards me with open arms.
"Honey being in a relationship like this is unhealthy..."She said hugging me tightly.
I nodded and realized that being in a relationship isn't healthy nor is it making me happy. I think its over for Corahn and Lexi.. AGAIN!
