Dany looked at Reyna with a mix of confusion and concern. "What do you mean we're leaving Pentos?" she asked.

Reyna sighed and tried to put the events of the night before into words. All the things that had happened while Dany lay asleep - the promises made, the decisions made, the trade offered. All for nothing.

Reyna felt a lump form in her throat as she tried to find the words to explain what had happened. She didn't know how to tell Dany that she had given Viserys her hand and her body, all for nothing. She knew that Dany would eventually start blaming herself for what Reyna had done, and she couldn't allow that.

Dany's eyebrows furrowed as she spotted a bruise on Reyna's neck and carefully reached her hand out to touch it. Reyna flinched away when Dany touched the fresh bruise that Viserys had left on her. Dany's eyes widened in surprise and she drew back her hand.

"What's that?" Dany asked, her voice filled with both concern and confusion.

As Reyna looked into the princess's violet eyes, she realized just how difficult it would be to tell her what had happened last night. She opened her lips to speak, but the words got caught in her throat, as the weight of the events that had transpired bore down on her.

Finally, after several moments of silence, she managed to speak out the words, "I went to Viserys last night to find a way to stop your marriage to the Khal. And so, I thought if I accepted his proposal, he would have no need for the Dothraki. I thought if I gave myself to him, he would not marry you off to the Khal." She choked out the words, feeling a lump form in her throat as the feelings of betrayal and shame washed over her.

Dany listened intently, taking in her friend's words before gently reaching out to take her hand. Her soft fingers curled around Reyna's own, providing a small measure of comfort in a moment of intense emotional distress.

"He lied," Reyna whispered, her eyes darting away from Dany's. "And now, I'm stuck having to marry him. And you still have to marry the Khal. I'm so sorry Dany."

Dany took a deep breath, feeling the emotions welling up inside of her. She could see the pain in Reyna's eyes, and knew that something had taken place between her and her brother.

"Did you give your maidenhood to him?" Dany asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Reyna couldn't speak, but nodded silently instead. Dany let out a small gasp as she surged forward, wrapping her arms around Reyna and pulling her into a tight embrace.

After a few moments of holding each other, Reyna finally let go and wiped away the remaining tears on her reddened cheeks. She took a deep breath, trying to pull herself together.

She straightened her back and looked Dany in the eye. "I have a plan," she said. "Tonight, we will leave. I will sneak into Illyrio's study and take the money he keeps there, and then we will take Visenya and go. We'll leave Pentos and never look back."

Dany's brow furrowed at the risky plan, but she nodded her head. "Where will we go?" she asked.

Reyna shrugged, not having all the answers. "Anywhere and everywhere," she said. "We'll be free, Dany. And start new lives."

"What about Viserys?" Dany asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

She knew Viserys was not a good man, but he was all she had ever known. She had lived under his shadow for so long, that she could not imagine a life without him. Despite the abuse and cruelty he had shown towards her, the little girl inside of her still held on to the memory of her kind and nurturing big brother. He was her family, the only constant in her life, even if he wasn't always the best one.

It was a difficult realization for Dany, and Reyna could see the internal struggle in her eyes. Reyna took Dany's hand in hers and gently squeezed. "He'll just have to figure out another way to get his throne," she said firmly. "A way that doesn't involve exploiting us."

Dany couldn't help but nod in agreement. She knew in her heart that Reyna was right, but the thought of leaving Viserys behind was still a difficult one for her to grapple with.

"He does not deserve us, Dany. We do not deserve to be pawns of his in his search for power. You deserve better, Dany."

Dany nodded slowly, but was still chewing on her lip, looking anywhere but at Reyna.

Finally, Reyna broke the silence, "I think I have a plan."

After a moment of silence, Reyna cleared her throat and started to outline her plan, laying out the details in a calm and measured tone. "Magister Illyrio keeps half of his earnings and riches in a special safe in his study." Dany tilted her head confusedly and Reyna shrugged her shoulders, "He's a very paranoid man, he prefers to keep it close to him instead of the Pentoshi Bank."

She cleared her throat as she continued, "I trust that I can sneak into his study and steal some money, not all of course, but enough to get us away. As for no one seeing us, we can use the western passageway that leads to a staircase outside."

Reyna bit her bottom lip as she contemplated, "And we'll have to leave when the moon has passed the center of the sky. When it's dusk and the hour of the wolf. Celebrations and parties would be over by then, and the whole of Pentos would be asleep."

As Reyna explained the plan in more detail, Dany couldn't help but feel a sense of unease wash over her. She trusted Reyna implicitly, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something could go wrong. It sounded well thought out, and yet she was afraid.

Afraid of this plan failing. Afraid of leaving Pentos. Afraid of staying in Pentos. Afraid of marrying the Khal.

Afraid of leaving Viserys... And afraid of failing Reyna.

After a moment of silence, Dany mustered up the courage to ask the question that had been burning on her tongue, "What if something goes wrong?"

Reyna seemed to sense Dany's apprehension and took both of Dany's hands in hers. "I know it's scary, but we can't stay here. We deserve more, Dany. We deserve to live a life of our own choosing."

Dany and Reyna then parted ways, with Dany going to her room to get ready for breakfast while Reyna contemplated the plan. If they were to succeed, Reyna had to consider every possible scenario and outcome.

While Reyna took a bath, she thought about the risks involved in her plan, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease creeping up on her. She had abilities that were more powerful than most men, but that didn't mean she was invincible. If she were to be caught, the punishment for stealing was to cut off the thief's hands. But she refused to let that stop her. Her plan was simple, but she couldn't allow herself to become complacent.

As Reyna walked down the hallway, she thought back to the events of the previous night: Viserys had promised Dany to some Khal, Illyrio had been given a piece of her mind, and she had given Viserys her maidenhood, which had hurt. Mentally and physically.

Sighing, Reyna walked into Illyrio's private dining room, when she noticed that something seemed off. Viserys, Dany, and Illyrio were all already seated, but something was different. Normally, Viserys would insist that Dany sit next to her, but today she was seated opposite him.

Reyna took a deep breath and approached the table, trying to ignore the tension in the air. Viserys immediately noticed her and greeted her with a mocking smile. "Ah, my bride has finally arrived," he said, before gesturing for her to sit next to him, "Come sit next to me."

But Reyna wasn't having any of it. She ignored his command and instead sat down next to Dany, giving Viserys a look that spoke volumes. Viserys' lip curled in contempt as he started to glare at Reyna.

Reyna's eyes narrowed in defiance as she saw Viserys' angry expression. Despite his glare, she refused to be intimidated.

Dany looked at Reyna with a mixture of fear and admiration in her eyes as she sat next to her. It was a small gesture, but one that meant the world to Dany.

Reyna felt the tension in the room as she ignored everyone and started cutting an apple into slices. After a few moments of awkward silence, Illyrio finally spoke up. "Lady Stark, I cannot express how overjoyed I am that you've finally accepted the Prince's proposal."

As Illyrio spoke, Reyna could hear the patronizing tone in his voice and felt her stomach tighten with frustration.

But Reyna refused to let it get to her. Instead, she drizzled honey over the apple slices on her plate with a calm indifference. Viserys leaned back in his chair, chuckling to himself as he watched Reyna's seemingly oblivious behavior.

"My new bride seems to be at a loss for words," he exclaimed, clearly amused by her lack of response.

Reyna knew that if she responded to Illyrio or Viserys' remarks, it would likely only lead to further harassment. Instead, she simply took a bite of the honey-covered apple slice. She was not going to let their remarks get under her skin, and she hoped that her silence would eventually make them leave her be

However, it seemed that her plan had the opposite effect. Viserys was only amused by Reyna's lack of response, and he continued to chuckle loudly. It was clear that he enjoyed getting a rise out of her.

Viserys then turned to Illyrio, "I want our wedding to be true to Targaryen faith, and to do that I want us to be married under the Seven tomorrow."

Illyrio nodded as he took a sip of his wine. "Of course, Your Grace. I'll have my best septons prepare the ceremony immediately."

Reyna's gaze remained fixed on the wine in her hand. She was focused on her plan, and nothing was going to distract her from it. She had to make sure that tonight was the last night she would have to spend in this place, and she was determined to do whatever it took to make that happen.

Viserys' attention shifted back to Reyna. "Does that satisfy you, my betrothed?" he asked, his voice heavy with his typical smugness.

Reyna lifted her green eyes to meet his, taking another bite of the honey-coated apple slice on her plate. "I wasn't aware you cared about what satisfied me," she replied, a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

His lilac eyes narrowed at her, but he didn't rise to the bait. Instead, he smirked, a hint of amusement in his voice as he said, "I will have to do something about that sharp tongue of yours."

Reyna knew he was trying to goad her, but she refused to give him the satisfaction of a reaction.

As Reyna lifted her head to meet Viserys' smug smirk, a chill ran down her spine. She had seen that smirk before, most recently last night, and she knew it as a warning. But she refused to let it break her composure. Instead, she took a bite of the apple slice on her plate, relishing the crunch of the fruit between her teeth.

"And what do you plan to do about it, Your Grace?" she asked, her tone cool and composed.

Viserys chuckled and leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. "Nothing...yet," he said, his voice low and menacing.

But Reyna wasn't phased. She had heard threats like this before, and she knew that Viserys was all talk. She would do whatever it took to gain her freedom, even if it meant playing along with his little games. She would not let Viserys break her.

Reyna's body trembled as she stood on her balcony, gazing up at the night sky. She had been waiting for this moment for what felt like an eternity. The moon had finally reached its highest point in the sky, and it was time to leave.

She hurried back inside her room, packing as much jewelry and dresses as she could carry, things that she could sell on their journey. She tried to calm the nerves that were threatening to overtake her, reminding herself that she had a plan and that she was ready. And with a final deep breath, she stepped out into the darkness.

Reyna's heart was pounding in her chest as she carefully opened the door, her eyes darting around the empty hallway. She let out a breath of relief before stepping outside and closing the door behind her. But as soon as she heard her footsteps echoing through the empty corridors, she frowned, her brows creased in concern. She quickly took off her sandals and placed them in her bag, slipping quietly into the darkness.

The sound of her breaths felt like a giant drum in her ears, and she had to hold back the urge to run for fear of making too much noise. She was so close to her freedom now, and she refused to let anything stand in her way. She took one final deep breath and set off, her mind focused solely on getting Illyrio's money.

Reyna cautiously approached Illyrio's quarters, her heart pounding in her chest. She crouched down behind a nearby pillar, taking a moment to steady her nerves before peeking around the corner to assess the situation. The guards seemed to be deep in conversation, their attention elsewhere.

As she contemplated her options, a plan began to form in her mind. But oh, she couldn't possibly try that now. She had only tried it on animals, and it was the smallest of animals. Entering another person's mind was dangerous for the person she was inhabiting and herself as well.

It was risky, but it was her only chance. With a deep breath, she closed her eyes and focused her mind, reaching out to the two guards with her power.

The world around her began to spin as she slipped into the guard's thoughts, her consciousness merging with theirs. She could feel their confusion and uncertainty as they tried to make sense of what was happening.

Reyna took a deep breath, focusing all her attention on the two guards standing watch outside Illyrio's quarters. She closed her eyes and reached out with her mind, her eyes glowing a fiery red as she slipped into their thoughts. At first, she was bombarded with trivial thoughts, but as she focused, she was able to filter them out and get to what she needed.

She whispered softly into their minds, "Take a seat on the ground," her voice sounding like a low, ominous hum.

Reyna waited with bated breath, a sense of anticipation building inside her with each passing moment. She had never attempted to control human minds before, and the thought of it was both exhilarating and terrifying.

Finally, she heard the sound of leather scraping against the ground, and she knew that her first command had worked. Then, with a deep breath, she spoke the second command into their minds. "Close your eyes and sleep," she said, her voice soothing, but commanding.

She counted to sixty, her heart racing as she waited to see if her plan would work. Finally, she mustered the courage to peek around the corner, and was greeted by the satisfying sight of the two guards resting against the wall, with their heads leaning back and their eyes closed. With a triumphant smile, she stepped past them and approached Illyrio's doors, silently opening one of them and slipping inside.

Reyna stepped into the foyer of Illyrio's quarters, surveying the room for any potential obstacles or danger. The first door on her left appeared to be his bedroom, which wasn't her primary objective. So, she made her way towards the door on the right, which was his study.

Inside the study, Reyna quickly found what she was looking for - a large painting hanging on the wall. With a small smile playing at her lips, she carefully took the painting down, revealing a safe hidden behind it. She knew that this was what held Illyrio's money

Her hopes were immediately crushed as she saw the lock on the safe, a sense of frustration washing over her. She could feel a sense of disappointment creeping in, wondering why she hadn't taken this into consideration before. She retrained herself from hitting herself as she contemplated her complete idiocy, but she didn't want to let her lack of foresight ruin her mission, so she took a moment to gather herself before assessing the situation.

She looked at the lock, not sure if her abilities could override the mechanical device. But the thought of giving up was not an option, so she tried to focus on the lock and see if she could sense any weakness. Unfortunately, her lack of experience with locks proved to be a challenge, and she found herself stuck, unable to come up with a solution.

Reyna took a deep breath, trying to remain calm and composed despite the setback. She knew that her lack of experience with locks was causing her frustration, but she refused to let that stop her.

She reached for a nearby pin, removing it from her hair and inserting it into the lock. With a deep breath, she began to move the pin carelessly inside the lock, attempting to coax it open. She could feel her heart racing as she tried to focus, but no matter how hard she tried, the lock refused to budge.

Frustrated, she removed the pin from the lock and threw it to the ground. She let out an exasperated sigh, feeling defeated.

Reyna felt her frustration boiling over, but she refused to let it get the best of her. With a determined look on her face, she quickly turned around and began to search through Illyrio's drawers and cabinets, scanning the contents for a potential key. But as she rummaged through the various items, she came up empty-handed.

She let out a deep sigh and ran her fingers through her hair, frustrated beyond measure. She knew that there was only one option left - she had to search Illyrio's bedroom. With a heavy heart, she made her way towards the bedroom doors, feeling a sense of dread wash over her as she anticipated what she might find inside.

Reyna placed her ear against the door of Illyrio's bedroom, attempting to listen for any sounds that might indicate if he was alone. The only sound she could hear was a soft snore, which she assumed to be Illyrio's.

Slowly, she opened the door a crack, feeling a sense of anxiety building up inside her. As she peered into the room, her eyes landed on a large lump on the bed, which she rightfully assumed was Illyrio. But to her horror, she realized he was not alone. A young maid was lying next to him, seemingly asleep.

Reyna's lip curled in disgust, her eyes narrowing as she realized what she had stumbled upon.

Reyna knew she had to put aside her disgust and focus on the task at hand. She silently made her way into Illyrio's bedroom, scanning the room for any potential hiding spots for the key. But as she looked around, she noticed something glinting in the moonlight.

With a small smile playing at her lips, she tiptoed towards Illyrio's side of the bed, trying her best not to make a sound. As she moved closer to him, she saw the key lying on the bedside table, just within reach.

Relief washed over her as she reached out and retrieved the key, holding it up in triumph. She had done it.

Reyna held the key tightly in her hand, feeling a sense of accomplishment as she made her way back towards Illyrio's study. But her sense of relief was short-lived when she heard another snore coming from Illyrio's bedroom.

Rolling her eyes in frustration, she made her way back into Illyrio's foyer and through the door of his study. As she put the key into the lock, her hand shook with anticipation. Finally, the lock clicked, and she swung open the door.

Inside the safe, she saw piles of gold coins known as Honors. It was more than she had ever seen in one place, and her heart raced at the thought of what she and Dany could do with all this. With a sense of elation, she leaned over and grabbed a fistful of coins, feeling their weight in her hand.

Reyna grabbed handfuls of Honors, stuffing them into her bag until the weight of the coins became unbearably heavy. She knew the bag would need to be hidden and carried out carefully, but for the moment, she allowed herself a moment of triumph.

With a smile plastered on her face, she placed the key back into Illyrio's room and made sure the study was neat and tidy as she had found it. Then, she ventured back into the hallway, making sure not to disturb the sleeping guards. She slipped out of the palace undetected, with the bag of gold securely in her hands.

As she made her way towards the stables, she couldn't help but let out a small laugh of delight. Reyna's heart swelled with joy as she approached Visenya's stall, her sweet laugh echoing throughout the stables. As she approached, Visenya stirred in her stall, looking annoyed as she was awoken by Reyna's approach.

Upon seeing Visenya, Reyna beamed with excitement, knowing that she would be able to make a quick escape. She reached out and rubbed Visenya's mane tenderly, smiling as the horse nipped at her hand in greeting.

Reyna's voice was soft and gentle, a smile playing at her lips as she greeted Visenya, "Hello, Sweet Girl."

She stroked the horse's coat with a light touch, feeling a sense of affection for this magnificent creature.

"We just need to wait for Dany, and then we can leave," she whispered to Visenya, a glint in her eye. "Just us girls," she added, her hand patting the horse's side.

Visenya neighed softly, as if understanding what Reyna was saying. The horse's beautiful eyes met Reyna's, and in that moment, the two of them shared a connection that went beyond rider and mare.

"And then we'll be free to do whatever we want." She couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement, knowing that she had finally accomplished something that she had thought impossible. And with the gold in her bag and Visenya and Dany by her side, the world was their oyster.

But as the time passed.

Reyna couldn't help but feel a pang of worry as the minutes dragged on, waiting for Dany to arrive. She refused to leave without her, though, so she sat there, waiting patiently. But as the night grew darker and the air grew colder, her eyelids grew heavier and heavier. Eventually, exhaustion won out, and she drifted off to sleep against Visenya's side
