Power-hunger, also known as power hungry person or animal is used to describe the people who are growing stronger out of their own selfish believes and doing it for themselves.
Elijah woke up in the hotel room, he got up to look and noticed Rayoma was there too and Sila was just sitting there in a bit of disappointment.
Sila: You, you really thought you can kill Elaina?
Elijah: ...Ugh...
Elijah slams the bed.
Sila: You know, Isabella was gonna step in personally if it wasn't gonna be X. Just so you know, you would've lost either ways whether ya managed to kill her or not. Be lucky ya took the longer end of the stick and it was X who stepped in.
Elijah: I cannot understand, what is so special about Elaina comparing to the other half-breeds?
Elijah rolled his eyes in annoyance.
Sila: Elaina is considerted to have some kind of special DNA and the only half-breed capable of mastering blood art to a high degree comparing to you who has no blood art or any control over your emotions or understanding.
Elijah: Jeez, stop yapping... And why is she here?
Elijah points at Rayoma which caught Sila's attention once more recalling what the report says.
Sila: Oh your sister, well she is causing trouble again so she was put out of commission for a bit by Elaina, she somehow recovered quickly enough.
Elijah wasn't expecting that response, especially to hear that Elaina has recovered quicker then him, he was so pissed and yet disappointed at the fact he couldn't do that.
Sila: It seems she has grasped the reverse cursed technique, the healing with cursed energy.
Sila laughs.
Sila: Guess no matter how good you are or how you imrpove, there will always be someone above you in this life.
Elijah (Talking to himself): unacceptable.
Sila: It is funny, to think you can beat her and kill her.
Elijah: Next time, next duel... I will kill her, as the rules imply... Rule breakers must be executed and yet that fucking walking freak was let go of all these rule breaks... Such a corrupt king-
Before Elijah could finish, he got a control shock from the collar and it stopped after 2 seconds.
Sila: Watch your mouth, you just want attention and to be treated with respect with such a crappy irl persona. Well whatever, take your time to recover fully and do not under any, any unrjustified stupid way to kill your sister.
Sila gets up and leaves the hotel room, waving goodbye before going and leaving Elijah alone with a sleeping Rayoma. He sighs and lays back down to sleep, he was just looking for a way to surpass UltraX & now he looked for a way to remove Elaina from the world..
Elijah: I will need to train harder or get a grasp of his training, he seems to be able to overpower others with just his will, what is his manifestation?
Elijah then gets up and does his bed properly and leaves the hotel room.
Sometime later, he passes by the forest hearing a loud slam and as he goes to the sound with cover of the bushes he sees Iskra Nikolova, fighting Vlad.
Elijah (Talking to himself): So, Vlad has gotten into a fight already?
Vlad screams in pain.
Vlad: My balls-! Ugh... Why you gotta do this to me?!
Iskra: Sorry, but cannot allow myself to be caught this early and send to the government to answer where the most wanted Asian gang that I run is.
Elijah smirks as he watches.
Elijah (Talking to himself): Predictable reasoning, Nikolova.
Elijah then decides to leave, as it was not his business to mess into a fight, especially for someone who failed to learn a single thing by his standards besides the basics. Guess after the whole Garou situation in texas, he was a bit disappointed. However, then again he was able to stop Iskra and Vlad's fight, but he decided not to as he continued walking he arrived at the capital and went to the arena and stayed in the shadows as he saw UltraX training Elaina...
UltraX: Well then, Elaina. It seems you have adapted to air force pretty well over this 2 hour training. But what is your plan about electricity?
Elijah was interested in this question, he knew Ultra had immunity towards his manifestation somehow and he needed to know more.
Elaina: Well, knowing that he can also manipulate the body with this kind of manifestation and kill someone like that or make them feel like they are not holding anything when they are and multiple other techniques... The best course of action is to either have good resistance or use a sealing artifact that completely nullifies his manifestation and allows it to seal him. You can also take him directly. But then again the immunity would be impossible to be build up unless you were born with something special.
UltraX: And that being?
Elaina: Well from what Vlad told me is that one can train to be able to resist most of the electricity for certain amount, but above that amount, well the pain will begin. But devil with power that controls electricity can be immune since they are electric, Vlad's manifestation could allow him to be immune to that kind of energy since it is an energy. However, you on the other hand raising the question, how did you build up resistance against electricity so powerful?
UltraX chuckles.
UltraX: Well, I was kinda aiming for that originally back when I was younger... I thought such immunity would be possible without energy manipulation or having the same manifestation. As a kid I was an idiot. So I found someone with that manifestation and they were willing to help, so I trained every day with no stop until the Vidin Incident, that man died and my training stopped... Atleast with him, then after that I trained on my own on dangerous places during big storms with some metal staff. I dunno how I was recovering from that though.
Elaina thinked for a moment, she also had such training, but stopped 2 years ago due to her teacher for that being a criminal with high record of raping, mass murder and usage of the forbidden blood art that was somehow recreated to it's core by him.
Elaina: By any chance, did you feel some sort of energy, like presence of someone beyond our levels of power back then?
UltraX thought for a bit, he could feel someone next to him, always touching him everytime a lighting hits, he felt more resistant to the electricity...
UltraX: Well something touched me, but there was nobody there. The presence was powerful, yet it wasn't there.
Ultra rolls his eyes though as he thinks maybe it was just the rain from the storm.
UltraX: But if you plan to start on such training, you can ask Isabella. From what I heard she has such a training room under Adumfor for herself and the next generation of kings and queens and elite guards, to be honest they are trained to have high resistance against electricity or it's effects.
Elaina: I see... Or I can use your method.
UltraX: Yeah.
Elijah then leaves the area before he gets sensed and walks downtown, just looking for something out of the ordinary, but seems like all is normal. He leaves the town and goes to another area from the path and re-enters the depths of the forest of Adumfor and lands on the spot where he defeated that robot...
Elijah: Damn, they did clean up the place after last time...
He notices a bunch of practice dummies and goes to them and he just touches it.
Elijah: So, do they plan to train demons here? Interesting...
Elijah proceeds to train, with the thought of overpowering who he considers more then just a rival... With that dark thought, the curse energy devil sends a message to Makima...
