PoV Will
I thought he wouldn't come home until tomorrow. He said he wouldn't!
Yet, there he was, in the doorframe, staring at us.
Stanford Gleeful, my father, was in shock.
That's because of the inconvenient situation I was in, with Tad Strange on top of me shirtless.
My dress shirt was half opened and Tad didn't have time to remove his hand from my chest yet.
For a few seconds everyone just stared.
Then father yelled: "OUT! OUT OF MY HOUSE!"
Finally Tad began to move. He jumped up and grabbed his shirt.
He put it on, then he said: "Sir, please calm down."
"I. SAID. OUT!!!", father screamed.
Tad ran. I sat up on my bed, trying to button up my shirt nervously, when my father took a few steps forward and slapped me hard.
"What where you doing with that...that boy?!", he asked.
"I I I I", I stammered.
"That is a BOY! YOU ARE A BOY!", he suddenly yelled, slapping me again.
"Why, is that a problem?", I asked quietly.
Father suddenly grabbed my shoulders and started shaking me.
"Are you gay? ARE YOU GAY?", He screamed at me.
I started crying really hard and couldn't get a word out.
"SPEAK!", father yelled.
"I...I love him.", I replied.
"That's impossible. You disgust me. You're so disgusting! ", he yelled, then left the room.
I heard him lock the door.
Pov Mabel
I saw a car leaving our parking space quickly. Was that Tad?
When I entered the house my uncle came stomping down the stairs, obviously furious.
"William is in his room. William stays in his room, until he's come to his senses.", Stanford stated angrily. Then he grabbed his coat and left.
I knew not to argue with him and I didn't care enough to risk him blowing his anger off at me.
So I shrugged it off and went straight into my room. I was going shopping with my friends soon. I needed to get ready.
I heated up my straightener, choose a glorious outfit, then I fixed my hair up.
I put the straightener down somewhere, to search for a jacket.
Then I left.
PoV William
I was crying really hard, when suddenly I heard the smoking detectors go off.
I grabbed my phone.
When I finally managed to call the fire department there was already smoke coming in from under the door.
"Yes, hello. I'm William Gleeful. There's a fire in Gleeful manor!", I said panicky.
"Okay, boy. Keep calm. Where are you?", the nice women asked.
"I-in my room!"
"Can you get out?"
"No, the door is locked, the window is to high. I'm stuck.", I panicked even more and started crying harder.
"Don't worry, the guys are on their way. Can you stay on the phone?", the woman asked.
"My battery is dying, I", and that was infact the moment my battery died. I hid in a corner.
When I finally heard the sirens I was choking on my sobs and the fire was already filling my room with smoke, swallowing the door.
I needed comfort. Next to me was my violin. I desperately grabbed the instrument and started playing.
I played my heart out until I couldn't play anymore.
PoV Firefighter
We were inside the huge burning building. We needed to find that boy!
Suddenly I heard a soft tune in the distance. Was that a violin?
I pointed in the direction. We followed the tune as it got louder and louder, still a fading noise against the breaking of the wood around us.
We made it the door of the room where the music seemed to be coming from, but it was blocked!
I grabbed my emergency axe and tore it down, just as the music died.
When we made it through the boy was barely breathing. I put on oxygen mask on him, then I carried him outside.
PoV Stanford
I hadn't really cooled of yet as I was having a few drinks at my friend Fiddlefords.
Suddenly I got a call. I assumed it was William and he wanted to apologize, but instead it was my nephew.
"Yes?", I said through gritted teeth.
"Stanford, STANFORD YOU HAVE TO COME HOME! THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE! LITERALLY! THERE ARE FIREFIGHTERS EVERYWHERE!", the boy yelled in panic.
"Are you kidding me?!", I jumped up.
"NO! PLEASE, come home!", he cried out.
Then I heard muffled noises.

I made my way home as quick as possible, then choked on the view. My house, my beautiful manor!
200 years old, gone!
Then I saw the ambulance drivung off. I ran up the hill, where Mason was sitting in the grass, sobbing.
I ran towards him.
"Mason! Are you alright?", I asked immediately, which made him cry harder.
I knelt down in front of him.
"We can replace almost everything in that house, don't worry. ", I sighed, patting his shoulder.
Mason looked at me with empty eyes.
"You think I'd care about any of that stuff?! William is dying!", he yelled.
My expression fell. Now I remembered. WILLIAM WAS LOCKED IN HIS ROOM!
Suddenly a firefighter came up to me.
"Mister Gleeful, we got a few questions to ask, if that's alright?", the man said.
"Is William going to be alright?", I asked firmly.
"When we got him out of the fire he wasn't breathing. The emergency doctor performed cps, but we can't tell if your son is going to make it yet.", the firefighter explained.
"I understand. What are your questions?"

Hours turned into days. Days turned into weeks. Four weeks became a month, and still William did not wake up.
The firefighters wanted to know why the door was locked, but I didn't get in trouble.
One day I saw Mason sitting by his cousins bed together with the gay boy.
The boy looked so...empty.
"Please don't send me away. I can't just sit at home and wonder if he's gonna wake up. This is my fault.", the boy sobbed.
"You actually care about Will?", I asked.
"A lot. I love him so much. If only I hadn't been such a coward and left...", he sniffed.
I looked at my child. He looked so peaceful, yet so broken.
"I should've cared about him a lot more. You know", I sat down by them, "I had a gay crush once, but my father didn't let me pursue it. I guess now my stupid family traditions and rules may have cost me my son."
They stayed silent.
I carefully took my sons hand.
"Oh William. You did not deserve this.", I sighed.
Suddenly the machines started making different noises.
PoV Will
When I finally managed to peel my eyes open I was faced with my dad, my cousins and... Tad?!
I smiled softly.
I would find out later that playing my violin saved my life and that I was allowed to be with Tad now.
So, I guess this is it.
A happy end.
