You cross your legs, on top of the other, sitting on a porch side. You take a small bite out of your dango, watching the sun set behind the smeared white clouds, along with a nice calm sunset color.
You begin to notice Sanemi was a bit late coming back from his mission. It didn't bother than much though. You began to hum a soft tune under your breath, resting your head on the side of the porch.
The sound of footsteps, almost sounding like stomping caught your attention pretty quick. You cut off your humming, noticing it was just Sanemi. You perked up a bit, quickly rising to your feet to greet him like usual.
“Hi hon! Did everything go well?” You stood beside Sanemi, giving him a small kiss on the side on his face. Sanemi didn't pay any attention to you, only kept walking ahead, keeping his mouth shut. You blink, eventually following him.
Before you did, you grabbed your empty dango stick to throw it away. You caught up with Sanemi inside the mansion as he took off his white haori a bit aggressively. “Hon?” You tilted your head. Again, Sanemi harshly ignored you. There was small growling under his breath. “Is everything alright?” You asked once more, timidly this time.
Sanemi set his kanata down, walking over to get him water. “Sanemi? Hello?” You tapped his arm. Sanemi pushed down on the water button feature with a bit of strength. “I'm talking to you.” You narrow your eyes, your tone rising. You noticed his cup was overflowing with water.
“Sanem—” You close your mouth as Sanemi gave you a harsh glare, looking into your eyes. “What? What do you possibly need right now?” Sanemi scowled, slightly clenching his hand into a loose fist. A slight tremble went down your back. His tone of voice sounded very hostile. “Is... everything alright?” You repeat, lowering your voice.
“Does it look like everything's alright? No. Stop nagging me.” Sanemi reframed himself from snapping. He clicked his tongue, bumping your side as walked away from you.
You knew he wanted to be left alone, but you wanted to talk to him and see what was going wrong. So, you ended up following him again, feeding his anger more. He stood by his door, grasping the handle tightly. “Sanemi, hon, you can talk with me about anything. Please tell me what's going on.” You soften your voice, waiting for Sanemi to respond.
Sanemi did respond, but not with the same, gentle manner you had at all.
“Y/N.” He said your name with a huff, letting go of the door handle. Sanemi looked behind his shoulder. He shook his head, his short fuse eventually exploding.
“If you could leave me alone for ONE GODDAMN SECOND! I won't have a problem with this, wouldn't I?!” Sanemi snapped, his purple colored pupils dilating a bit. You stood quiet, your eyes widened at his sudden snap.
“If you want to be a better girlfriend, STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME.” Sanemi yelled, narrowing his eyes with another scowl. “No wonder why you're basically useless.” Sanemi scoffed, sliding the door shut infront of your face.
Speechless, you took a step back from his door. Tripping on one of your feet, you quickly grabbed a wall to help you stay stable. The hurtful words Sanemi spoke to you were permanently stuck in your head as a sharp and painful pain cracked in your heart.
That's when it finally hit you. Tears filled up in your eyes, rolling down you face. Soft sobs left your body. You eventually pulled yourself together, walking towards your own room.

“Hey, Y/N.”
“Wake up.”
“C'mon...”
You feel several of nudges on your back as you slowly awaken. You find Sanemi in your face, backing away as you spot him. You hold your breath, looking directly into his eyes. Slight irritation showed in your face. “Wha..” You mutter.
Sanemi let out a sigh under his breath. You blink at him, realizing he had more to say. “Y/N, those things I said yesterday... I didn't mean them.” Sanemi paused, taking a breath. You stay quiet, maintaining your calm manner. “The reason I snapped at you was.. I was stressed due that long ass mission.” Sanemi sat down in one of your chairs.
“Sanemi.. why didn't you tell me that?” You lifted half of your body, your tone wavering. Sanemi gave a small shrug. “I don't know at this point. At least.. it's over.” Sanemi rubbed his finger across one of his rough scars on his arm, looking down at his feet. “Right?” He muttered, glancing at you.
“Of course it is. Sanemi, thank you I needed an explanation.” You almost said to yourself, rising to your feet. You quickly give Sanemi a tight hug before he could react. “I love you, Sanemi.” You rub his white thick hair back and forth with your hand.
“You know I love you too.” Sanemi whispered, giving you a small kiss as you cuddled his arm.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't deal with someone who gets angry easily. That's probably how relationships end.
