"Imma make sure the chicks are still alive." I started.
"Can I see them?" Rodimus started, taking on a new tone of voice entirely.
"Errrr?" I looked at the other two. "If you can keep up?" I suggested and shot off. That f*cker can't keep up with this! I landed on the ships deck and was introduced to a one-sided war-zone.
Coper and Zinc were being restrained by Predaking and breathing some fire. For some reason, the other two Predacons where nowhere to be seen.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Megatron wanted me to take them outside." Dreadwing started, he came out of nowhere.
"Why?"
"So when their carrier gets to them, she doesn't burn the walls." He explained.
"Fair enough." I said and that's when the chicks realized they might be in trouble.
Suddenly, the doors opened. They opened slower than usual for some reason (probably for dramatic effect) and revealed...
Egg.
Gold was behind her, grinning smugly at the fact that he wasn't in trouble.
Now, since I don't know what the chickens are saying, I'll be guessing and those guesses will be 100% accurate (hopefully).
Gold squeaked, "Look who's in trouble." He maybe sang.
Predaking let down the chicks, their optics both widened as Egg silently walked towards them. She genuinely looked very scary right now.
I hope she doesn't give them the 'I'm not angry, just disappointed' talk. That would be boring.
The two chicks started squawking what was probably a half-assed apology.
Egg cut them off with a series of squawks that were so loud I couldn't hear myself think (or translate). I and Predaking exchanged glances.
Egg finally paused to catch her breath and Zinc tried to bargain their punishment. Meanwhile, Copper and Gold were exchanging glances. Gold eventually let of a amused grin which was contagious and plastered itself onto Copper.
Egg was not pleased that Copper found this to a be laughing matter. So she body slammed him. I mean, not what I would have gone for but it was effective.
When she got off to glare at Zinc, Copper was flat on his back, his little belly showing his sped up venting.
"Want me to put 'em in a shoebox for time out?" I asked.
Yes, a small shoebox. Egg said. A real tight fit. She added sourly.
I justed ended up stuffing them into my subspace for the same result. Except in there it was a little warmer. And there was stuff, though I doubt a decapitated clone helm is entertaining.
The other two Predacon ended up landing a moment later, they kind of cowered behind Predaking, their wings tucked in close as they watched Egg. I looked at Predaking in question. "They get scared of Egg when she's angry."
"She's not angry at you dip-shits." I muttered as Egg let of a low growl, she was still seething.
Then the doors opened again, to reveal Rodimus, Bumblebee and a confused Breakdown. "He wanted to see chickens?"
"Yes- Chickie!" He started as he bounced up to Gold, completely ignoring the older, sour looking chicken next to him.
Gold looked at his carrier in question.
"How much?" Rodimus asked.
Egg might have let that slide... If she wasn't already in a bad mood. She let of some fire that hit the red guy straight in the chassis, and once he scampered behind Bee, she glared at me.
"What?" I asked, maybe a little uneasy.
You're selling my chicks?!
I snorted, "No, he just won't take no for an answer."
"It breaths fire?" Rodimus asked in shock.
"Yea, I told you-"
"How much for the big ones?" He asked, this time looking at the two Predacons behind Predaking.
"3 shanix." Predaking mumbled, perhaps he was just tired. Darksteel and Skylynx let out croaks in protest.
"Each?" Rodimus asked.
"Total." Predaking said grimly and the other two really started protesting.
I decided to leave them there and scooped up Egg and Gold on the way out. "Stop jumping." I grumbled at the two in my frame, they paused for a moment and then carried on. So I jumped up and down a few times, scrambling them inside. "You guys are in time out, you're not supposed to have fun." I added as we left with Dreadwing and Breakdown behind.
I jumped up and down a few more time, the chicks didn't like that!
Stop that. Said Egg whom I was holding, she didn't like it either.
"What? Not found of scrambled Egg?" I snickered.
Dreadwing let out a groan. Breakdown would have groaned too, but he was too thick to understand puns.
Then Meg came around the corner. "Sup-"
"Who was that on my ship?" He half snarled.
"He tried to buy Gold-" Dreading started.
"Predaking's letting him buy the other Predacons." I added.
"Yes- what?" Megatron asked, pausing to listen.
"3 shanix-" I started.
"For both of them." Dreadwing finished.
"They're worth more than that-" Megatron started.
"Aww, so you see your troops can't be bought?" I asked.
"5 shanix at least!" Megatron interrupted, I should have known. "Where are the other chickens?" He asked as he noticed I was only holding Egg and Gold.
"In my subspace." I said. "Why?"
"I'd like a moment with them." He growled as I got them out.
"Er alright, oh come on-" I started as Zinc leaked on me. Copper looked like he was about to join him.
Put me down, I want to make sure he doesn't go over the top. Egg said and I put her down with Gold and the other two naughty chicks.
"I gotta clean this of." I grumbled as I shook the fluid covered servo.
"Hrmm." Megatron started as he made sure the chickens were looking at him in attention. He squawked at then, so he must've got a translater fitted again or something. He looked up at Dreadwing as he prepared to leave, "Make sure that red one-"
"Yes of course my lord." Dreadwing said as some angry roars could be heard in the direction of the landing bay. "Right away." He said and scrambled off.
