It been sometime after the whole alliance to defeat Oracion Seis.

Prepare for the Magnolia's Gildarts Shift

Mira: Everything he touches gets obliterated so if he's not paying attention he'll accidently walk into houses and destroy them.
Mira said with a smile as if this was something everyone was used to.

Neos: The last time I see him, he's slightly smarter than Natsu.
Lucy: S-Seriously…?
Lucy paled a little.
Everyone waited in excitement as they eventually saw Gildarts looking the same as he did when he left only the bottom of his cloak looked a little torn, he look around confused.
Gildarts looked at Mira and didn't recognize her of course, since the last time he saw her she was dressed like a bad girl, and now she looks more like a sophisticated lady.

Gildarts charge at him and throwing a punch sending him flying out the guild before charging at him. Everyone was confused and all ran out to see what's happening.
Neos landed sliding on the sand before stopping.

Gildarts: Finally found you!
He charged at Neos, pulling his arm back.
Neos: Rose Aisa!
A multi layer shield appear infront of them as Gildarts punch breaking it, Neos jump away trying to avoid hand to hand combat with him.
Lucy: Why is Gildarts fighting Neos?
Cana: Knock it off old man!
Cana yell at Gildarts but he didn't hear her.
Gildarts: What you did to my dear Cana... I won't allow you to run off.
His fist clinched tight
Lucy: My dear Cana wait is he-

Gildarts easily crush the air slashes.

Neos lift up his left hand as the giant axe blade appear
Neos: Nine-Lives Blade Work!
Swinging it down at Gildarts as he throw a punch at it. Their attack collided created a shockwave pushing both back. Gildarts quickly charge at Neos again and this time with an uppercut he knock the blade off his hand destroying it with his magic.
Before Gildarts can pull his other hand back to attack, a flash of red lightning spark move away from him. Lightning Storm Neos now standing some distance behind Gildarts.
Neos: Ice
Cold energy emitted around him as an ice bow appear on his hand.
Neos: Crystalize Shoot: Freezing at Moment
The arrow was fire as Gildarts jump away to dodge arrow, the ice grow rapidly from the arrow. Gildarts was frozen in ice, as the ice began to crack.
Neos: Blaze
Flame erupted around him, as a fire ball began to glow larger.
Neos: Burn to Ash
He throw it at Gildarts as a massive flame explosion erupted from where Gildarts stand.
Lucy: Did he kill him!?
As the dust began to clear revealing Gildarts burned cloak now showing his prophetic body parts.
Gildarts: I must say, you're strong but... It won't be enough to stop me! You have to take responsibility for what you did to my baby girl.
Cana face turn bright red as many guild members turn to her.
Cana: Stupid old man! You're making everyone misunderstood!
Neos: What the hell are you even on about?
Gildarts punch the ground creating a shock away that break the ground a bit, making Neos lost his balance.
Neos: Thorn
His clothes change as he try getting his footing, Gildarts charge at him.
Neos: Predaplant
A mouth like flower with small sharp teeth open up underneath him as it close in with a bite. Everyone was stunned since it's look like Neos just got eaten by the giant plant.
The plant then pull down on the ground somehow maneuver through the ground. And thorn vine shot out wrapping on Gildarts body but they were destroy with just a few swing with his hand.
Gildarts: Mizuwari
The ground break into large chunk revealing Neos.
Gildarts: There you are!
He charged at him and punch Neos upward. Neos was send flying out from the ground as he fall down at the beach floor.
Gildarts: Shit I forgot.
Cyclone got up from the sand floor and Blaze stand up from the sallow water floor.
Blaze place his palm on the water and Cyclone place his on the sand floor.
Blaze/Cyclone: Burst!
Flame erupted from his hand creating steam blocking Gildarts vision. Then a cyclone of sand shot at his face now temporarily blinking him.
Gildarts: My eyes!
The steam clear revealing both Neos as Gildarts trying to wipe away the sand in his eyes.
Cyclone: Hey let do it.
Blaze: I thought you never ask.
Erza: Is he about to?
The two jump into each other a white light engulfed them as Neos landed, his clothes is a mix between orange, red and blue, white. A combination from both his elements version.
Inferno: Contract Fusion! Inferno Neos!
Gray: Inferno Neos!?
Natsu: Awesome!
Two orbs of condensed flame and wind appear in both hand as he throw it at Gildarts.
Inferno: Burn Up: Hurricane!
A massive flame tornado spin around Gildarts both burning him and lifting him up. As the fire tornado faded Gildarts fall down unconscious.
This shocked everyone.
Elfman: Did... Neos just defeated Gildarts?
Wakaba: The Ace of Fairy Tail...
Macao: ...was defeated by Fairy Tail Wild Card.
Natsu: That was awesome!
Everyone erupted in cheer.
Time Skip
Gildarts jump up from the infirmary bed, looking around he see Cana and Makarov.
Gildarts: Master! My sweet Cana!
He try jump to hug her only to be punch in the face sending him back in bed.
Cana: Get back you stupid old man!
Gildarts: Ow!
Makarov: How did the job go?
Gildarts began laughing while rubbing the back of his head.
Gildarts: No, no good. Too much for me.
Makarov: I see. Too much for even you…
Gildarts: Sorry. I've tarnished our name.
Makarov: No. Your safe return is all that matters. To the best of my knowledge, you're the first to ever return from this quest alive.
Makarov said and Gildarts let out a small chuckle.
Gildarts: I'm sorry Cana, I failed. I was so close and yet... I couldn't bring him back.
Cana give a slight smile before hitting her father head.
Cana: You dumb old man!
Neos: Are you done being drunk?
He turn to the doorway seeing Neos who is leaning against the wall, his hair now braided.
Gildarts: Neos!
He try to get up as Cana try to hold him back.
Gildarts: What's you doing Cana, I need to bring him back to Fairy Tail.
Cana: We're already inside Fairy Tail you idiot!
He imidietly stop and look around for a bit before realizing he was actually in Fairy Tail.
Neos: I guess not.
Gildarts: I see... You really have gotten stronger. Really strong. I'll be honest I remember you more of a close range sword fighter with fast movement.
Neos: You're talking about Lightning Storm.
With a flash of red lightning, Neos clothes change to a red and black color, his golden eyes turn blood red.
Neos: As you can see my element evolve into their second stage.
Gildarts: So cool! I wasn't paying much attention to it when we fought show me more!
He said in excitement like a little kid getting a new toys, as many guild members run into the infirmary.
Mira: You sure to seem lively.
Gildarts: Mira! You sure have changed! Wait, is the guild new too?!
Natsu: Gildarts!
Natsu shouted gaining Gildarts attention.
Gildarts: Oh! Natsu! Long time, no see!
The two smirk seeing each other
Gildarts back handed Natsu sending him crashing into the wall.

Natsu: Oh! Man, he really is super-strong!
Gray: You haven't changed a bit, old man!

Gildarts: Hmm, there are some new faces too… Things really have changed. But more importantly, Neos what was that you do back there? The fuelion thing.
Mira: You mean Contact Fusion.
Gildarts: You can fuse!?
Neos: Yes.
Gildarts: Can you show me? I didn't get to see it although I fought a fusion.

Neos separate into Ice and Blaze. The two grab each other hand as a white light engulfed them. As the light faded revealing Neos now wearing red and blue.
FrostFire: Contact Fusion! FrostFire Neos.
The fusion stand as everyone was in awe seeing him. Blue flame erupted from his hand but instead of heat they feel cold.
Natsu/Gray: Neos! Fight me!
Both yell before turning to each other in surprised. Natsu want to fight FrostFire since the moment he saw him and Gray can't contain his excitement anymore he also want to fight FrostFire but he doesn't show it. Before they began fighting each other, FrostFire managed to calm thing down.
FrostFire: Maybe some other time.
They separate and become one again.
Gildarts: Wait, I just realized in our fight your fighting style change each time your clothing change.
Neos: You just realized that now?
Mira: Now that you mentioned it.
Gray: His fighting style does change for every form of his.
Levy: From what we see so far, Thorn have a predator style attack by surprise and immobilizing attack.
Erza: Blaze rely on destructive attack, while Ice rely on long range weapon and Lightning Storm is close range weapon.
Mira: We still don't know much about Earth, Air and Normal Neos so can you share with us?
Neos: First of all. They are Quake, Cyclone and Core. Quake style is to overpower the opponent with his strength combine with his tactical mindset. Cyclone style is flexible and unpredictable, he can go from long range to straight up assault from all angel. And finally Core don't have an element so he use everything he have in his arsenal.
Gildarts: So cool, it's like fighting 7 different person while fighting one person.
Erza: Oh and one more question.
Erza put her arm around Neos shoulder before pull him into a headlock.
Erza: Now explain what inappropriate thing you did to Cana.
Mira: Gildarts when looking for you for the past 4 years. That mean you done something unspeakable to Cana 4 years ago.
Both ladies give off menacing aura looking at Neos.
Cana: Enough! Old man explain yourself! What was the crap about taking responsibility huh?
Erza let go of Neos, as he look at Gildarts.
Gildarts: Oh right. Neos, you have my blessings to marry my daughter.

Everyone Else: What!?
Gildarts: Neos, throughout my time traveling I meet and saw many people. From time to time I heard rumors about an unknown mage with the Fairy Tail symbol take down many dark guild. I also heard about his good deed through many towns.
Neos: And what does this have to do with me?
Gildarts: *chuckle* Let be honest here. There is no mistaken a pale blonde hair mage in all black travel around with a sweet girl, with anyone else in our guild. There was never a real complain about this mages, only compliment, you help others while asking for nothing in return.
Erza: So you were the Wandering Fake Fairy!?
Mana: You just realized that now?
Gildarts: As a father I know I isn't the best father to Cana. But you're the one that was by her side while I was clueless about my own daughter. So I have decided the best person to be my son in law is you.
Neos sweet drop hearing his reason before a card fly at Gildarts. It hit him as he imidietly fall a sleep, snoring loudly. They turn to see Cana face even redder than when she was drunk.
Happy then fly next to Neos.
Happy: When is the wedd-
Erza grab Happy by his neck and throw the cat out of the window, sending him flying through the sky. Many look at Erza in fear as a dark aura emitted around her.
Turning back, everyone step aside make way for her, except Neos and Mana. Mana is drinking a glass of milk, she isn't afraid since Erza anger isn't aim at her. And Neos still have a deadpan look.
Erza began walking to them picking up her little siblings in each hand.
Erza: We are going on a job.
