Over centuries, power has been a word used for a lot, running an empire, successful capitalist state or some kind of dictatorship and a monarchy... Usually those who are useful stay and those who are useless have to go... Power who has it, has control, has money and has popularity of the people in their country.
In hero society, obviously there must be balance and law to restrict heroes using their manifestations for everything they want... However that did not stop certain groups such as the criminals, villains and anti-heroes to break the law of manifestations which led to them being discriminated by those who believed in law and order.
The Adumfor constitution updated in the year 2000 has also mentioned that their restrictions on manfiestations shall be more soft from now on as tourists in moment of attack should use their manifestations to defend themself, this update is for the self-defense law of Adumfor... The island has also become a major hideout hawaii rip-off for anti-heroes who wanna hide in there disguised as tourists or just hide themself from the law...
United Nations is allowed to sent troops in to neutralize the anti-hero if caught, obviously the laws were changed that any wanted anti-hero in other nations shall be wanted in Adumfor if caught in there, this lead to majority of the anti-heroes heading for nations such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, China, Maymar, Pakistan and Turkey.
POWER is like one way to change the course of billions of people's fates with one small change...
However with that out of the way, back to the main story...
It was the next morning in Adumfor, obviously it was a beautiful sunday which was the last day of the week, usually elite guards would be at post working and the king would be at his ruling spot in the castle, however the king has announced a national break only for this day...
The king also has said that only major places for marketing, shops and such will be kept open for tourists who like to buy stuff they do not have at their hotel places, this was the national sunday as a request after the events of the castle which the Adumfor Monarchy is trying to censor as hard as possible to cover up for their reputation.
On the beach, of course as full as everyday with many demons and humans, some were having fun and others were just sun bathing and relaxing.
???: Yo, JOE!
A man by the name Joe finds themself walkin up to a female who shouted his name, the female was sun bathing obviously and there was a chair.
???: Sit down, Joe.
Joe sits down...
Joe: Now, what is it Mrs. Nikolova?
Ah yes, Iskra in her natural habit place when it comes to relaxation.
Iskra: So did you find out where my brother is in this island?
Joe: Yes ma'am, he is currently at the palace of the king and princess.
Iskra was a bit surprised by that.
Iskra: How interesting, I was not exepecting him to sleep at the royalties palace...
Iskra grabbed her coca cola and drinks it.
Joe: Mhm, I also heard Elaina is with him, the half-breed that could cause us trouble to make sure our plans do not fall apart.
Iskra then puts the coca cola away.
Iskra: That bitch, so focused on keeping her image that she turned my brother into her servant "boyfriend" just to keep her image.
Joe: Our spies have also told us that the parents remained in new york so if we catch both Elaina and your brother off-guard, we can knock Elaina and take Vlad away once more.
Joe then pulls out his phone and unlocks it showing Elaina's statistics.
Joe: With this, we can use it to get a weak point on her and then your brother is all yours.
Iskra looks at the statistics and then wonders a bit more as she reads em.
Iskra: I doubt she was the one who saved him back at the house.
Joe: I have 3 suspects who could've done it-
Iskra: tell me who.
Joe then switches up the statistics on his phone to show the 3 suspects.
Joe: These 3 had similar to almost the same way of entering, distracting and exiting without getting detected and making too much noise. All of them are classfied heroes, however only one ranks as high with their family.
Iskra looks.
Joe: Only 1 of them is located in Adumfor right now, however no idea which one of the three it is.
Iskra: Well then, let me continue my sun bathing... Tell the other 2 boys to go hunt down on the suspect with the beautiful long hair with no muscles.
Joe: Yes ma'am.
Joe locked his phone and put it away in his pocket and then he stands up and walks away from Iskra leaving her alone to her sun bathing for now...
Iskra also knew about her sister's plane coming 3 days before the weeding, so she is waiting for her sister just to set foot on Adumfor soil...
In the meantime, Elijah finds himself back in the forest with the robot finally defeated...
Elijah: F-Finally...
He looked majorly injured, however then he hears Sila's noise of calling his name and then he walks to the noise as he comes out of the bushes and encounters Sila...
Sila: There you are, fool!
Sila walks up to him and helps him a bit.
Sila: You fought the robot all night without food, why didn't you bring food?!
Sila was holding already prepared instant noodles and gives them to him, Elijah then suddenly starts eating as if he never eaten food before, then he gave the empty large cup back to her.
Sila: You are pretty hungry type of guy...
Sila looks away blushing a bit.
Sila: I kinda like it.
Sila then quickly switches moods before Elijah notices her blushing.
Sila: Anyways, Rein said she wants to meet you down her lab in Adumfor, you know the way so you can just go there on your own...
After that Elijah sort of thanks Sila and walks away, Sila then walks up and looks at the destroyed robot for a moment and she was thinking to herself about something. Sila then turns around and walks away, taking a route through the forest...
She then encounters 2 other humans (males) who were looking for something, she approaches them and then she proceeds to ask them the following...
Sila: You two seem lost, what's up?
One of them...
Guy 1: We are looking for a man 5'9 in height with long hair and loves pizza with coca cola...
Sila looks at guy 2 and then back to guy 1.
Guy 1: Have you seen him?
Sila: Yeah actually, he just passed by and gone that way.
Sila pointed at the way where Elijah went.
Guy 1: oh... That was easy, thanks young lady.
Guy 2: Now come on, let's go confront that punk!
Guy 1 and Guy 2 walked away and Sila took her own path and walked away.
Meanwhile back in the hotel, Ultra just gives Mina her breakfest...
UltraX: Hm, Isabella Thorns...
UltraX opened his coca cola and drinked a bit...
UltraX: The princess and the future queen of this island and of course the king wanted you for information about Kazuna, correct?
Mina: Yeah, she is the only anti-hero on Adumfor that hides here...
UltraX then processes the event of the murderer of the queen...
UltraX: So an year ago, the queen was murdered and the suspect is an anti-hero... We know that anti-hero suspect is Kazuna and it could be the truth or a misunderstanding...
UltraX: Then again, Kazuna has some beef with the Kanomato family's girl... Rayoma was it?
Mina was eating her breakfest and then she stops to answer.
Mina: Yeah, Rayoma Kanomato was recently busted out of the hotel's secret rooms in the other city and I know Kazuna has something to do with this.
Then Mina continues eating...
UltraX: If she does, I might put suspicion on her for killing the queen.
UltraX drinks more of his coca cola as he looked at Mina as she finishes her breakfest.
Mina: Hey, I know Kazuna wouldn't kill the queen over her own gain! She is not my abusive sister you know that very well...
UltraX looked away.
UltraX: Of course Kazuna is not a slut who wants dick in her ass everyday like your sister or yourself in that matter. In general she is a very straight to business girl.
Mina blushes and looks away.
UltraX: Do I have to remind you that if I didn't have sex with your sister, she would have killed you right there in the prison when she had the chance.
Mina: R-Right...
UltraX breaths in and out.
UltraX: I love you and all, but do you really trust Kazuna?
UltraX stands up from where he was sitting and grabbed the empty plate from Mina and put it away in the sink and then he came back and sit down again.
UltraX: Think about it, can you trust every anti-hero you see in the organization or you can only trust yourself and your instincts only.
Mina looked at Ultra.
Mina: I dunno, it is just me and her are great friends and all... I know she is not the type to murder without a reason and cause chaos in Adumfor just like that...
Ultra then comes closer and comforts Mina.
UltraX: Even if it's not her, it's alright. I will be with you.
UltraX: Now, I need to ask you a silly question...
Mina looked at him with a bit of serious look.
UltraX: Why are most people driven mad by power these days to do all sorts of things to gain a high amount of power... In a sentance, why are they doing this?
Mina looked down...
Mina: Why would they do such a thing? Well I believe some are selfish and greedy, others are jealous and want that type of power and third are just forced to be like this.
UltraX: You have learned something, but that is not all really...
UltraX holds Mina tightly.
UltraX: Usually power comes in many shapes, physical... Which is obviously the physical power of us in general without any manifestations, then the mental and unnatural which is emotional and manifestational. Obviously the reasons are going beyond everyone's expectations and they do everything in their power, to be exact...
UltraX making sure he does not ruin Mina's comfort, he pulls out his telephone with a shortcut trick he learned from his father.
UltraX: I recall that I locked up some fucker named Jared Visof for a big amount of crimes, which include the following actions I really figured ya knew about a bit... Such as sexual assaults, raping, sexual abuse, physical and mental abuse and possibly whatever there is.
UltraX: In general, I see this whole greed and madness for power as a way to excuse all of us humans, not all of us are like that... However most of us are like that.
UltraX let's out a sigh.
UltraX: Now come on, lay down... I will join you in a bit.
Ultra let go of Mina as she laid down.
Meanwhile back in the forest, Elijah was fighting 2 guys who were shouting his name like maniacs, they seem pretty good at dodging his manifestation.
Elijah then moves around in the trees and bushes which confuses the both guys and then Elijah comes out from behind quickly electricfying Guy 1 and dragging him in the bush as Guy 2 goes that direction...
Guy 2: C-Come on man!
Guy 2 checks on Guy 1's heart beats, his heart was still beating and then Guy 2 pulled out a gun and turned around shooting Elijah in the leg and then running at him and punching him. Elijah was sent right back, however he somehow manages to land on the ground near the tree, he looked a bit in pain due to his leg. He then pulled out a knife and threw it at Guy 2, the guy 2 dodges and runs at Elijah and then he grabs Elijah and punches him in the face, but then an electric shock hits Guy 2 hard and he lets go of Elijah. Then the guy just fell to the ground as it continues to zap him hard...
Elijah uses his electricity to create kenetic energy and heal his leg, then he gets up.
Elijah: I didn't kill you, I just gave you a zap to make sure you won't hurt me or anyone for a while and now... I hope you have learned a lesson or two about it.
Elijah then turns around and runs away, leaving both of the guys alone to deal with the shocks. Sometime later Elijah was still around the forest running to find the capital city, however he heard the screams coming from his left, he takes the left turn and runs to that direction to see someone familiar killing guards... Then Elijah jumps in their way and pushes them away before they kill the last guard.
Elijah: STOP IT!
He then creates an electric energy ball and throws it at the person, the person dodges.
???: Oh wow, being the hero finally?
Elijah: I always was a hero-
The person turns out to be a girl... She laughed... The person was Kazuna and she looked at him with that stare of disappointment.
Kazuna: I recall you didn't wanted to become a hero originally, you said that infront of your parents, X and your own sister. It isn't fame you're chasing, we all know that... It is something else that the heroes have that you want.
Elijah: I'm a hero to save people-
Kazuna: Really now, you and hero?
Elijah: Yes really.
Kazuna then walks by and passes Elijah.
Kazuna: X may act and do predictble things, but...
Kazuna smiles without him seeing it.
Kazuna: And you trying to keep an image of a hero, well I think you two have some common goal, however, your ideals and motives are different. Clearly that is what seperates both of you on a different end of the story, clan Kanomato.
Kazuna stops as Elijah turns around.
Kazuna: He does not know, but if I would tell him that your family is not what it seems...
Kazuna turns around and looks him in the eyes.
Kazuna: I know originally you guys had no bad intensions, but seeing your posisition...
Kazuna: it just makes me pity you, in a way you have grown. Now that being said, would you carry out to stop your sister from hurting X?
Kazuna then turns around and runs away, leaving Elijah alone, then... Wait did she just say stop your sister on Elijah...
After that he started to move.
Time passes by and he finally meets his sister who was just standing in the arena, same place where a chick and her bodyguard beat some guards up...
Elijah: Rayoma, I know you are in here!
Elijah looks around and listens carefully.
As he looks around, he gets shot by a bullet straight into the left leg and he falls down the ground, surprised by this he uses his electricity to create a bubble around him.
Elijah: Ok then, let's go!
Elijah does finger sign with both hands (like some kind of anime) and a lighting strikes out of nowhere making him vanish with the bubble... Rayoma was conufsed for a second before she got punched hard in the face and knocked far back into the arena. He starts walking closer to her as she gets up...
Rayoma: Of course... My brother would do such a trick.
Rayoma charges up and prepares her power to fight Elijah.
Rayoma: You know me well, our family always had a specialty for electricty. Your manifestation is unique, but I can sense your resolve and perseverance is stronger then our grandfathers used to be, you are different.
Rayoma rushes at him, but as Elijah was about to throw an electric punch, she quickly dodges and her hand formed a fist as it glows and she punches Elijah and then explosion happens which sents him back, but he manages to endure the knockback without a problem, just a little damage on his right arm. After that she rushes again, but this time as she got close to Elijah, he electrified his right arm all the way down to the fingers and his hand and then punched the ground senting electric waves from the ground to zap his sister hard, however she jumps in the air and peforms explosion jump to go higher and then she uses it again to boost herself straight to Elijah.
Elijah dashes backwards, however Rayoma manages to hit the ground as her fists were ready for another explosion.
Rayoma: Ground explosion, 25%!
The ground blows up and sents Elijah flying into the air, she then boosts herself after him with her leg explosion jump and starts punching him with her fists a couple of times in the back before using explosion to sent herself with him higher and then she gets above him.
Elijah summons electric shield to block infront of him as she uses explosive fist (38%) and punches his shield hard enough to sent him down to the ground fast and then Elijah manages to hit the ground hard and she then uses explosive kick to land a hit on her brother and it hits causing a huge smoke. After the smoke clears she sees blood, but he is gone.
She then quickly turns around and dodges an electric punch.
Rayoma: So you survived my combo?
Elijah looked at her.
Elijah: This combo used to be so deadly, guess you changed it so it fits for you to tease your opponents a little more... That was a mistake, that kick was a fatal blow, but ya missed.
Elijah then rushes at Rayoma and she rushes at him both clashing with their manifestations and physical fighting for the next hours of time. Someone was watching from the seats of the arena, 2 people...
???1: Rayoma and Elijah seem equal on strength, but speed & precision are huge difference including the thinking and planning by both... Listen wisely this may help your ability to improve and extend its limits, you better improve as a character. You will soon face him, face the one who took the spotlight of what you once called "family."
???2: Yes, Issy.
Rayoma tries to punch Elijah in the face, however he dodges and kicks Rayoma a couple times and punches her from underneath and sents her flying, then he takes a huge leap right after her and electrifies his hands and barrages Rayoma and then does one kick senting her far back down and she hits into a wall and then he lands down properly.
Elijah: You know sis, glad ya finally improved... But did you seriously had to trade your original manifestation? You had so much, yet so you gave up.
Rayoma then rushes again, she recovered quicker then last time and the fight continues with more clashes as Elijah also rushes at her. The fight continues on for another 2 hours as they both scream and rise their % of use in their manifestations... Both are injured severly and they backed away from clashing...
Rayoma then laughs.
Rayoma: I got what I wanted~
Elijah confused and then he notices she holds white balls?
Rayoma: Power... You really are powerful, but can you really compare yourself or be your own thing in a world where we copy others most of the time... From insparation to copycat. Keep in mind that once we meet, I will be your worst enemy!
Rayoma drops them on the ground and then they explode causing a huge smoke, after it clears she was gone and Elijah only for few seconds and then starts walking away...
The power to make a balance, the power to destroy this balance, the power to make peace, chaos or abuse it, be productive... It all means everything...
Issy: Dear, let's leave. We got huge plans anyways for our company.
???2: Yes, Issy.
Issy and ???2 vanished.
