2 days later, A plane lands in Adumfor. After this plane has landed, it's doors open to reveal a boy walking down from it with an 18 year old... Then a woman shouted.
???: Vlad!
After Vlad & the 18 year old, UltraX got down. The woman got to Vlad & hugged him. That was Elaina, a half-breed who came to Adumfor only recently for vacation... She is dressed like she was just on the beach a couple of minutes ago.
Elaina: I was so worried, where were you after that girl took you?
Vlad: W-Well...
Vlad seems to be still shaken up by the events of his own sister kidnapping him.
Vlad: It's a long story, Elaina...

Vlad: Were you on the beach?
Elaina looks down at her body and then back at Vlad.
Elaina: Uh not really, I was gonna go to the beach... However news for you being safe came by and I ran with the stuff I prepared for the beach all the way to here... So yeah...
Elaina seemed a little embarrassed after she stopped talking, however Vlad seems to understand that she was in a hurry after getting the news. Then Elaina tells Vlad about the king and princess and why she came to Adumfor... It has been 45 minutes and Elaina & Vlad find themself at the beach, both sun bathing I guess and discussing stuff.
Elaina: So are you better now?
Vlad: Yeah.
Elaina smiles.
Elaina: I hope so you are doing better... Our vacation is gonna take off all the patrols and give em to other heroes as we are here...
Vlad: Wait, why did you come here anyways?
Elaina: Isabella told me to, guess she was right this would be better.
Vlad wasn't expecting Isabella would tell Elaina to take a break, usually she would motivate Elaina to do more hero work, however this is an interesting change of pace.
Elaina: But then again... Did you hear about her weeding?
Vlad: Yeah, why?
Elaina: Well it is coming in 2 or so weeks.

Vlad: Excuse me, what?!
Elaina was suprised that Vlad did not knew.
Elaina: Yeah, the time has come really.
The king who ruled the throne alone after his wife died has also been preparing for this weeding, since this weeding will put a new queen & king on the throne to continue their legacy.
Elaina: Of course, a new queen with a fitting husband. however one of the rules in Adumfor is that we are not allowed to know who is the husband/wife until the day comes.
Vlad: Interesting, rule...
Vlad was curious, has Isabella ever hinted at who is her future husband?
Elaina: Yeah, I respect that from the princess and future queen. Honestly, have you ever heard of the man that ran away with cowardness out of Adumfor, he used to be a great war general at a young age of 21.
Vlad: S-So he ran away and now is in exile, being hunted for execution?
Vlad sounded worried as he looked at Elaina.
Elaina: Well the law is law, of course. He ran off with a human girl named Margret. Ever since then, his name shines in the top 50 families aka his family name. United Nations refuses to allow the arrest of a hero by the Adumfor monarchy back then and today.
The rumours say this man has been a great threat too, he could leak the biggest assets needed for other countries like Japan, United States, Japan, Russia, China, Iran, Egypt and many others to turn the island into a puppet state for their own benefits, the Adumfor monarchy is scared that all their hard work of being a nation... Collapse. They had even the plans of NATO, CTSO and any other alliance that planned to turn the island around... Very old, new or just something was odd with the world. Were humans racist to demons before or is the fact devils just remind humans of the demons in a bad way.
The 21 year old who escaped with a girl, plans to turn Adumfor into a puppet state of sorts and racism alongside many other factors... Make the world something that is not perfect, but unique.
As Vlad & Elaina spend their time, sun bathing on the beach. Someone was watching from the woods near the beach...
???: Elaina Vans and Vladislav Nikolov... Ugh they will proof troublesome for my "friendly meeting" with Elijah... ugh...
Meanwhile at the airport, another plane has landed and a boy comes out of it. He seemed to be listening to music and humming to it, some people seemed annoyed. Then the boy comes down the stairs and walks up to the building, few minutes later... He was in the city with luggage. He then pulled out his phone which played a song by Skillet called "Monster." Then he paused the song and exited the Spotify app and then he opens discord and finds someone which he sents a message to them. Their nickname goes by X, after that he puts his phone away and grabs his luggage and starts walking to somewhere...
As he walked and reached a hotel, he enters in. Then to his surprise he sees a familiar face and shouts him by his nickname. The person turns himself around to see the boy who called him by his nickname.
UltraX: Of course, Kanomato.
Elijah seemed unamused.
Elijah: Not even a warm welcome, why are you even a hero with that behaviour brat?
UltraX: Jee, you don't say.
UltraX looked at Elijah with disappointment.
UltraX: Couldn't even save a boy from getting kidnapped or even help with the case. Why are you even a hero and ask me why am I a hero? You know, you had the power, time & plan to save him and then what... I am the one who clears the case meant for you, cause you are too busy with that girl of yours and not give a single fuck about a boy who is your student.
Elijah started to get a little pissed.
Elijah: You are so immature.
UltraX: Of course, same line. The moment you became a hero, it was all for one goal. Let me be honest if you cannot save one person, if you cannot act like a hero, then quit.
UltraX walks out of the hotel as Elijah was trying to hold himself together and not try to chase after him as the last couple of times. Elijah goes to the counter to the nice lady...
Ultra was outside, kinda got what he expected from Elijah. Same arguement, but for a boy. Ultra then looks at Mina, who was here.
Mina: Hey, I heard that arguement. What's up with you two? You used to work together so well...
UltraX looks away.
UltraX: Arguements happen, it was nothing major. I just need to breath for once.
Mina: Ok. Then let's go check out that bar in the Agoby city. I heard they have some spicy drinks that can get you high with only one sip~
Ultra looked at her.
UltraX: Girl, relax. We will go there later. Now we have to check some other places. Remember I still am at work, but with Adumfor monarchy.
Mina: Yeah yeah...
Both of them walked away, as someone else entered the hotel. Back to Elijah, he just got to his room on the 10th floor, he left his luggage and went to the fridge, opening it he finds the usual demon-type of food Adumfor makes for everyone in the hotels. He grabbed the snacks and closed the fridge, then he lays on the bed and starts eating as he was watching youtube shorts. couple of minutes later, a knock on the door was heard... Then he puts the phone away and gets off the bed, walking to the front door and then... He opens it...
Then the person jumps at him and puts a collar on his neck, then he felt a little zap as he fell to the ground and noise of closing door was heard...
???: I'm sorry for such a greeting, but... You know you shouldn't be here.
As Elijah looked at the person, it was a girl... She was part of the elite of the Adumfor's strongest warriors of the generation.
Elijah: Y-You again... Why?
The girl laughs.
???: Come on, you know you are not welcomed... Especially with the enemies you made. Plus I have not introduced myself by my new last name.
Then the girl starts introducing herself, very polite & official.
Name: Sila Silver
Age: 25
Information: Climbing the top of the ranks she has become one of the elite that takes most of the tasks by the king & princess. She is also one of the strongest warriors who has a winning streak of 990 against opponents during deadly duels. She often is refered to as the one and only Ms. Elite. Considering how strong she is and her streaks are high. She is the only demon to be considered a worthy rival for the throne if she decided to. Fun fact: she is the only demon to resemble a human to near perfection, only her horns stick out so she hides em under the long hair she has.
Demon Ability: Silver Bullet
Demon Ability information: The user's ability is pretty much a range type of fighter. They always can summon a gun with infinite Silver bullets, those bullets if they hit... They deal massive amount of damage which can disable regeneration for 5-35 seconds. Shots on places like the heart, brain and any other critcial part will be instant kill. Drawback to this ability is that the user's shots waste their stamina, the more stamina lost... The more the bullets from infinite become to limited ammo.
Sila laughs.
Sila: This collar is made to disable your manifestation and demonification. Just to secure that you are not going to try and kill the king for obvious reasons.
Elijah tried to stand up, but Sila was quick to pin him on the ground and sits on his stomach.
Sila: How about instead of resisting, you listen?
Elijah looked away.
Sila: I take the silence as yes.
Sila breaths in and out.
Sila: King George strictly made a law to forbid mentions of the events that happen back then that caused the island to explode into protests against someone and a human girl... You heard the rumours, turns out they are true. However... The king has gave me orders for you spesifically. Those orders include you to be kept in check... Ever since your last visit an year ago... You nearly killed his daughter without being able to control your demon form... Going beserk is bad reputation for half-breeds like you and Elaina.
Elijah was listening, but kept looking away.
Sila: The league of the demon islands, Adumfor, Orech, Demon's demotractic republic & Pandora. They are the current and only nations to exist with demons on their island, other demons are in the international world, Europe, Asia, Australia, North America & South America. The league of the demon islands have changed the law for any general that leaves the island in a way to escape, will have a chance to fight for his rights to live in court. However that law won't save the general who escaped many years ago. For that we needed you, however after last year... You looked pretty hopeless to us, a guy who loses control over their demon form is nothing more then a problem for our mission to secure the demon rights to higher level.
Sila talked seriously, Elijah was filled with confusion from some of the stuff she said.
Sila: I know you never cared about history of our island since you were born in Japan, but the league of the demon islands is holding a big role into a reason, 3 monarchies and 1 communist island nation... They control orders and how demons inside their islands will behave, act and live with little freedom. Of course you know that part... You do your best to play by the rules only to get away with what you caused an year ago, thinking we will happily forget and let it go...
Sila breaths in and out again.
Sila: You know, apologies will not be enough for you to be forgiven. Keep in mind, I have been keeping an close eye on your records outside of the island. You doing good only cause of your family, if they were not there... Then you wouldn't be the same would you?
Elijah: Probably...
Sila was still sitting on his stomach as he was secretly panicing about it.
Sila: Well, look. I don't hate you. Orders are orders... if the king says execute you for what happen last year, I have to do it. However my orders are to be your... Bodyguard and make sure your powers stay disabled all the time. Quite annoying job, your girlfriend would've done better.
Sila gets off Elijah and helps him stand up.
Sila: D-Do not get the wrong idea!
Elijah kinda looks away as he tries to not piss her off.
Couple minutes later, on the beach again. Elaina & Vlad were still sun bathing and chatting.
Vlad: So that is how you met Devora eh?
Elaina: Yeah... Quite the jazz encounter if you ask me. She has such great singing skills and nice housewife skills for the age of 24.
Housewife skills? Vlad wondered on that.
Elaina: Anyways, can I ask you something?
Vlad: What is it?
Elaina then looked at her hand and right at V lad.
Elaina: So after I passed out during the Garou fight, who was the hero who stopped Garou and got him contained?
Vlad then looks up at the sky, trying to remember.
Vlad: Well, it was someone from the Ivanov family, someone else who was there. i think it was... UltraX or someone close to their name starting with U...?
Vlad sounded like he forgot most of the events in new york during the Garou fight...
Elaina: Eh, don't talk. I think I get it.
Elaina then grabs and pulls her bag closer and pulls out her phone. She opens her instagram and starts reading messages from her followers. Vlad on the other hand grabbed his bag and pulled out a manga called "Chainsaw Man." Then he opened to a chapter he left off and started reading.
Time passes and Elaina was still scrolling though her phone. While Vlad was looking at the sky, bored and waiting for the beach day to be over. Vlad was thinking about UltraX, who was he really and why was he there when Garou attacked or why was he saving Vlad... As of that, Elaina was reading the news of "Case closed." and she saw that Vlad was saved by the hero, UltraX. Elaina was interested on this news report, however that feels her with determination.
Both of them continued sun bathing.
Vlad: So, how was your job going?
Elaina: Eh good, caught a devil host in new york. However since that girl took you, I haven't been able to do my job completely well, but hey that still didn't stop me from beating some bad guys.
Elaina laughs.
Vlad: If you say so. Anyways Ultra is gonna be staying on the island as part of his duty.
Elaina: Oh, so I finally get to meet your friend?
Vlad suddenly just put his manga away.
Vlad: He is not my friend, it is just hero business. (Even though I get a familiar vibe.)
Elaina: Aww come on, hero business... Bullshit dear, heroes are friends there is not that much business, we do our job, we get our break, we make friends. So come on when will I meet him?
Vlad breaths in and out.
Vlad: We will meet him tomorrow. He either ways has to talk to me (and maybe you).
Elaina breaths in and out as she stood up and put her phone away in her bag.
Elaina: Well then, if you say so. Now enough sun bathing. We have to go, your room is ready. Plus tomorrow after we meet your friend, we have to train our skills for the big grand festival of challenges in Adumfor.
The big grand festival of challenges is an event organized every 5 years on Adumfor or the other 3 island nations. The league of the demon islands obviously wants these games to be allowed for half-breeds & humans a-like. Tourism has sky rocketed for these games 5 years ago after that law change. Elaina was one of the challengers who got 5th place on the games. These games contain duels, races with no powers and only horses, paintball war (3 rounds of paintball war), shooting ducks, jumping, modern gaming duels, spot the difference, bingo & more. Usually these games are limited to be only 10/10 minigames so choices are different.
Obviously, Elaina was into these games since little. However ever since last year she has been more competetive and interested to win this year. Those minigames decide reputation of the people who take part in it, this also affects the top 20 families that ranked in top 20 of the international world stage, if their kid or themself lose, reputation down and spot down. Obviously top 3 in the festival of challenges won't lose much, the others will have to think for themself before taking part of these minigames. Vlad was interested in those challenges himself, he watched the episodes from 5 years ago and got inspired to take part with Elaina this time around, however are they worthy?
35 minutes later, they arrive back at the palace to be greeted by an old friend.
Xiang Ye: Oh, hello there future Mr. Vans and Mrs. Vans, glad to see you doing well.
Vlad seemed happy as Elaina was excited.
Elaina: Xiang! The big grand festival of challenges is coming here in a month!
Xiang Ye: I know, I know. You are excited because you & Vlad are gonna take part in it.
Elaina jumps a couple of times.
Elaina: Of course, we will carry first place this year and put an end to the win streak of the Kanomato, finally victory... We will put a new wave for the next generation and inspire many!
Xiang Ye was a bit nervious....
Xiang Ye: Yeah... That sounds great and all, but... You sure?
Vlad: Y-Yeah, isn't Rayoma Kanomato the fastest on this... Like I watched her swing around her weapons, make perfect after perfect move and kept winning max points. What makes you think this year we or mainly you will win?
Elaina looked at both of them as her mood changed.
Elaina: Oh please, this time I will win and teach her to play a little more fair. We have a month anyways, we can just train and prepare for it.
Xiang Ye: True, and of course the weeding is also coming by. Which means the minigames will be picked by the future queen, Isabella and of course her husband who is gonna be the new king.
Elaina breaths in and out.
Elaina: Oh my, I heard she really likes to make it hard and rough for the players. Would Sila take part in this year's thing... Or would she just watch?
Xiang Ye: Sila, who outrunned Rayoma in the training fields 5 years ago... Sadly no. Sila said on multiple interviews and discussions during meetings that she won't waste her time with minigames, challenges and anything that would side-track her.
Elaina: What a shame, wish Sila took part.
Vlad recalls Sila SIlver was one of the elites, noticing that she was a busy woman. Vlad understood her reasoning for not taking part of the festival thing.
Vlad: Well, she has a lot of work. I'm sure maybe she could get it sort out before registering for the festival, you never know what the world will pull out.
Elaina looked at Vlad.
Elaina: You are right, she may or may not.
Xiang Ye: O-Oh that reminds me. You two haven't eaten at all today, I'll go ask Jeff to prepare the table with me and serve you some food. You are young, take care of yourself.
Xiang Ye then walks away and goes to the dining room area.
Vlad: Well, he sure knows what to say.
Elaina: Of course, he is a wise man. He also reads us like a book.
Elaina smiles at Vlad and he smiles back at her.
Elaina: After all, he is the caretaker. Alright now, let us go to our room and change our clothes to something normal and go back down and help Xiang Ye and Jeff.
Vlad: Alright, lead the way.
Both of them afterwards went upstairs, 20 minutes later. They were back down and helping out with setting up dinner, they knew King George & Queen Isabella would be coming back after 2 hours, so they work and make the table. Xiang Ye & Vlad were in the kitchen cooking, while Elaina was setting up the table with Jeff.
Vladislav always had a talant for cooking, obviously he will take part in the cooking races in the festival of the challenges. Vlad had a dream to become a great hero, but also the a good chef. Of course they talked about casual stuff and continued, till dinner came.
Now who is the royal family that rules over Adumfor you may wonder? Their family name is the Thorns, George Thorns was the king while Isabella was his daughter and princess, Isabella throns, the king ruled with iron fist over the island. All of them were sitting on the table besides Jeff, obviously good food, drinks & nice deserts. They were talking...
Isabella: Well it is nice to see you two here, Elaina and Vlad.
Vlad and Elaina: Nice to meet you too once more, princess.
They seemed happy. The Vans family was one of the few that had special connection with the royal family of Adumfor, being higher ranked then citizens... For monarchy it is strong in economy and army, however the power belongs to the king/queen which is a problem for most monarchies back in the 20th centuary.
Vlad: How was your day, my king?
George looked at Vlad.
George: It was good, now our focus is preparation for the weeding. My daughter must have the best weeding after all, her husband is pretty much a nice guy.
A nice guy, sounds like someone they knew.
George: That reminds me, Elaina and Vlad.
Vlad & Elaina looked at George with curiosity.
Vlad: Yes, king?
George: You know, I need your help with something.
Elaina: What is it, my king?
Elaina called him, her king since he rules over Adumfor, Elaina has shown royalty towards the royal family, Thorns. George breaths in and out...
George: You know the anti-heroes right?
Vlad stays quiet.
Elaina: Yes.
George: Well, there is one on this island. For the past 4 months we have been suspecting they are trying to crash the weeding of my beautiful daughter, I want the anti-hero captured and brought alive... That is what I need from you two, can you do it?
Vlad wondered, does he refer to Mina?
Elaina: We can help you, king. When do we start our shift?
George closed his eyes.
George: 2 days from now. However we should change the topic and continue eating.
They continued eating and talking about other stuff as the time passes, more then hours later everyone was in their rooms sleeping. In the end of the day both Vlad and Elaina had to find out the mysterious anti-hero.
The truth being told, anti-heroes are doing things their way not following the law and often revolting against the governments and the heroes.
