"How was school today?" River asked as her younger sister, Delilah, entered the backseat of her car.
"It was so good." Delilah emphasized, "Instead of doing our spelling work, our teacher let us colour in."
What sort of bullshit is this school-
"I miss being doing spelling work." River muttered. "Hey, what do you want to eat right now?" River asked after a moment.
"You're getting me food?" Delilah asked, instantly perking up in her seat, "Like, anything?"
"I always get you food when I drive you home." River reminded, "Now what do you want?"
"You pick." Delilah said, "You deserve to pick today."
cutie.
"What else happened today?" River questioned once she decided where they were going.
"Well when we were drawing" Delilah started.
How much time does her class spend drawing and colouring-in in one day?
"I accidentally got a leopard print and a tiger print confused." Delilah continued.
Wait till she finds out our mom was 'accidentally' pregnant with her- I MEAN NO... our parents definitely meant to have another child 12 years after their last one...
"And this boy laughed at me." Delilah continued.
Kids are assholes.
"But then my teacher said it was just because he liked me." Delilah explained.
"That kid sounds like a dick." River uttered causing Delilah to start giggling. "Don't tell mom I said that." River added quickly after she realised what she had said.
"Only if you make me brownies tonight." Delilah reasoned.
Damn, ultimate hustler.

"Hey." River greeted as she entered the tomb, "How are you?"
"I have been in here for a month." Katherine groaned, "I've been better."
"Well consider this me making it better." River said as she placed a duffel bag on the floor before opening it and pulling out the items from inside the bag, "Spare clothes, toiletries, booze, a pillow, a blanket- which is admittedly for me, a candle which you can use for light or the scent, and most importantly." River trailed off as she pulled out a handful of blood bags. "These."
"Why are you being so nice to me?" Katherine asked as River tossed her a blood bag. "I got myself into this situation no matter how hard you tried to help me."
"I'm going to show you the last item in my bag." River started, "And then you are going to take a wild guess." Once River revealed the last item, it quickly showed her ulterior motives.
"This makes a lot more sense now."
------
"Oh hey Stefan." River uttered as she woke from her nap.
"River what are you doing here?" Stefan asked frantically trying to piece together why River was in the tomb with Katherine.
"Having the best sex of her life." Katherine answered on her behalf, "In case you'd like to join."
HOLD THE FUCKING CHEESE- WHAT?
"What?" Stefan blurted out as River choked on air.
I- well...
"That seems like my cue to leave." River said as she went to stand up.
"Damon closed the tomb when I came in here." Stefan said.
"Damon was here?" River questioned. "How long was I asleep for?" River asked as she turned to Katherine.
"Almost twelve hours." Katherine answered.
"Why didn't you wake me up?" River asked.
"You look cute when she sleep." Katherine stated simply.
aww...
now I'm trapped in a tomb with two desiccating vampires.
-----
"Are you seriously going to keep ignoring me?" Katherine asked as she watched River and Stefan throw and catch the pillow which River had brought across the tomb from each of the beds they were sitting on.
"He is." River answered, accepting that she was know Stefan's translator as he had stopped speaking to Katherine.
"No, we can talk about how you regret all you've done to make my life miserable." Stefan said as he threw the pillow back to River.
"What do you want me to say, Stefan?" Katherine asked as River caught the pillow, "That I'm sorry for everything I've done? Well, I'm not, okay? It's called self-preservation. I've been looking out for myself for five-hundred years.
"Wow, look where it's gotten you." Stefan said.
...This seems personal...
I feel like I should stop listening...
Time to plot how I am going to escape the tomb which no one knows I am in except for the two vampires I'm stuck in here with whilst I have no cell service...
River was brought from her thoughts a few moments later as a loud thudding echoed from the entrance of the tomb. Hesitantly, Stefan picked up the lamp in the corner of the room and began walking towards the entrance.
If he wasn't a vampire he would be the blonde woman at the start of every horror film.
Katherine then followed behind him, leaving River alone in the main part of the tomb. A sharp gasp passed Katherine's lips as she recognised the figure standing in the entrance of the tomb.
"Elijah." Katherine stated, fear clear in her tone.
"Good evening, Katerina." Elijah acknowledged.
WAS HE NOT DEAD?
"Thank you for having the good sense to be frightened." Elijah mocked.
woahzies
"Your release has been requested." Elijah stated.
...Katherine's?
"What?" Stefan started, "By who?"
Oh yeah, Stefan's here.
"Elena drives a hard bargain. However we've reached a peaceful agreement, she and I." Elijah stated. "Please." Elijah continued as he gestured for Stefan to leave the tomb, "Come."
Yes daddy- NO
"I can't" Stefan objected.
"Yes, you can." Elijah started, "I've had the spell lifted." Cautiously, Stefan then stepped past the boarder of the tomb, a sigh of relief passing his lips as he left it with no restraints. Suddenly, Katherine rushed at the exit, wanting to be free of the tomb as well. Katherine however, was stopped as Elijah sped in front of her, blocking her exit. "As for you however," Elijah began, "You shall not exit until I say so."
Is he compelling her?
"When Klaus comes, he'll want to know exactly where you are." Elijah stated simply before turning his attention to Stefan, "You're free to go. Elena will explain the agreement to you. If she keeps her word, I'll keep mine."
"Stefan, no. Please don't let him leave me in here." Katherine pleaded as Elijah walked away.
This seems like my cue to leave..
River then carefully got off the bed she had been lying on and made her way towards the exit slowly. Stefan then watched as River stepped out of the tomb, not wanting Katherine to try anything at the last second.
"Goodbye, Katherine." Stefan stated once River was out of the tomb before he walked away.
Damn.
"Please don't go." Katherine begged.
"I have to." River said, feeling bad for leaving Katherine alone but also acknowledging that she about to literally die of thirst. When Katherine didn't respond, River then left the cavern, entering the dark forest where Stefan no longer was.
Did this bitch leave me in the forest?
DOES HE KNOW HOW MANY TEENAGE GIRLS DIE OF 'ANIMAL ATTACKS' IN THESE VERY WOODS BECAUSE THEY ARE ALONE?
