Cassandra's pov
I was in deep sleep when the door bangs open and I hear some movements on the bed but I was lazy to open my eyes but I hear some crashing sound and a voice that booms the entire room "How dare you? How can you fuckingly do that to my sisters? What has she ever done to you?"
I wake up to see Aiden, what on earth is he doing here, he was on a business trip and was supposed to come 2 weeks later but now he is currently pinning Vincent to the wall. Also, Vincent's lip has a cut.
"Fuckingly speak idiot, the day I handed her to you, I asked you to keep her safe and sound, but I guess I forgot to ask you to keep her happy."
"I understand Aiden but listen to me, it was.." Vincent was cut off when my brother shouts again "What was it? You let people show their fingers towards her character but never defend her in those matters and on top of that you have the audacity to fuck another girl now."
"Aiden it's not any girl" Vincent says but is throw a punch in his guts, Aiden "You fucker, you can again defend your one night stand but not my sister, can you? I should have known Vincent, I should have known you can never be perfect for her, you are that lethal love of her life, who can destroy her in seconds with a snap of your finger."
I get up from the bed and adjust my shirt before I shout "Aiden enough. What is going on here?"
He loosens his grip on Vincent and turns to face me and looks shocked to see me. "Cassandra, you are here... I mean with him? He blurts out.
"What do you even mean by that? Just leave him Aiden, what are you doing?" I say as a tear drop falls from my eyes. "I...I was just.." he stops without knowing how to answer me further.
"I am sorry Cassandra I didn't see you on the bed with him since you had your face on the other side of the bed" he says as he avoids my eyes.
"That fuckingly does not answer my question does it Aiden" I say with a lump in my throat.
"Cassandra it's nothing, we were having a man-to-man talk, it's fine" Vincent tells but I shake my head for a NO and say "Stop lying Vincent, I heard him."
"Cassie, I said it's nothing baby, it was a mere mistake, we will sought it out, don't worry" he assures me and I say "By getting punches? Or getting kicked in the guts?"
Aiden takes a long breath and says "I am sorry Cassandra you had to witness this but he deserved it, I am sorry that I hurt your husband but I am not sorry for hurting this fucker of my friend for hurting my baby sister."
"Aiden it's fine, we will stop by your house before we both go home, don't worry we will have a man-to-man talk and solve this, just don't stress yourself over this and let Cassandra be out of this" Vincent tells and Aiden nods giving him a hard glare and moves out with shutting the door.
I contemplate whether to help him or not, I move and stand a meter from him and try to take his face in my hand but I am scared, what if he lashes at me? What if he rejects me, what if last night was a lie? I lower my hand and look at him.
He is standing there, with his eyes closed, wincing a bit in pain. As soon as he opens his eyes, he looks at me and says "Don't worry Cassandra, it's nothing major, it will go away, more like I deserved it."
"I am sorry Vincent, it's my fault that you are in pain" I say as my sobs break. He comes and wraps his hands around my waist "Hey silly stop crying it's fine, it was a mistake, as I told we will sought it out, don't cry."
"How do I make you feel better?" I say as I look into those brown orbs. He gets his face closer to mine, our noses almost touching and says "Kiss the life out me, baby, maybe your kisses are my salvation" With that said he kisses me and starts to do wonders to my senses.
I don't know when the kisses heat up that we both were on the bed, he on top of me. His hands roam all over my body. His fingers rake through my hair but he does not stop kissing me. His kisses are fierce and hungry. He is not holding back. He shoves his tongue into my mouth and we both exploring each other.
I snap back to reality when his hands travel to the bottom line of my bra and he starts playing with it. I open my eyes and break the kiss. Both of us are panting heavily. He looks into my eyes and promises "Don't worry tesora, we will take it slow, as long as our comfortable with me. Let's not rush."
With that, he rolls on the other side of the bed and turns his back to me and said "You look hot in red baby." Huh red but I am wearing his white shirt but then I realise my shirt as roden up and my panties were in view for him. Shit, I lower my shirt and pick up my dress and go into the bathroom to change.
Vincent's pov
Currently, I and Cassandra were in her parent's house, as promised to Aiden. I was sitting on her bed when she comes out of the shower in a satin pastel green dress, her hairs were still wet. She looks at me and asks "Are you not going to freshup?"
"I have to but I don't have any clothes and I am sure if I go and ask Aiden now, he might kill me" I chuckle and she also lets a small chuckle and says "No worries you go and fresh up I will get clothes for you.
I keep my phone on the table and go towards her bathroom. It fuckingly smells like her, lavender. After I am done I go out in a towel wrapped around my torso, to see Cassandra sitting on the bed and thinking something "What is it doll? Something is bothering you?" with that said I start moving towards her while she looks at her hand and says "How did I break the vase?"
With that said I don't know how on earth but I slip and fall towards her and she lets out a shriek. Goddamit women no need to shout. "Shh Cassie it's fine" I say laying on top of her. At the same time, her door opens and Aiden shouts "Cassandra the dress you asked...." He stops mid-way when he looks at us.
"Sorry, I am... I just slipped," I say as I try to get up but my fucking luck, I feel the towel I tied around my torso loosen up. I am sure if I get up both Cassie and Aiden will kill me for that so I shoot a smile towards Aiden and said "You can keep the clothes over there, I will pick it up."
He just listens and keeps the clothes on the couch eyeing me suspiciously but he finally turns around to move but my stupid wife had to open her damm mouth and say "Getup Vincent, your phone is pressed to my abdomen and it's quite uncomfortable for me."
"Aiden stops in his tracks and turns back, I take a deep breath in and close my eyes and say "It's fine Cassie, it will go away."
"How will it go away, if you don't remove it? It cannot fuckingly walk" she says looking into my eyes a bit frustrated. Aiden replies with a smirk "Of course it won't go away until you remove it."
"Me? How?" she questions at the same time my phone rings from the table and realisation hits her face harder than ever she starts to curse "shit, shit I am so sorry I didn't understand. Aiden I am sorry you had to witness this. God Vincent get up now at least."
"Baby my towel is loose, if Aiden wants to see the show, he can stay" I say while I am begging with my eyes for him to get the cue and move out, which he does thankfully.
"Close your eyes Cassie" she obeys like a child while I get up from her and steady my towel. I take the clothes Aiden lent me and went to the bathroom.

Cassandra's pov
After the morning's incident, I was ashamed to even look at Aiden and Vincent. It was such a longing lunch with my parents and them, while Aiden was seated opposite to me and Vincent was next to me. At lunch, Aiden was just eyeing me and Vincent for god knows what reason. His looks were saying you fuck up man and you are dead to Vincent.
"Vincent we were planning a family weekend to Raritan Bay, we would love to take Cassandra with us" Aiden tells. I lift my head in surprise as I was unaware of this call. "Sure you can take her" Vincent says looking at me and chewing his food slowly.
"Vincent, why don't you accompany us there? It will be fun. Moreover, you guys didn't go out anywhere except for your honeymoon, which was nearly a year ago" Dad said.
At that statement, Aiden snaps his head at me and throws daggers with his eyes. "Sure, why not, it's been a long time since we both spent some time together. We both would love to join you" Vincent finishes at which Aiden gets up abruptly from his chair saying "I have an important call, I have to take this."
I guess he is too pissed off at me and Vincent that he is doing this. After I finished I went to his room and knocked on the door, he opens it and lets me in. "What is wrong Aiden? You look pissed, everything all right?" I ask as I sit on the bed.
He throws his phone to the wall and shouts "All right? Are you fucking me? What is all right do you care to explain, your marriage with that fucker? Or his extramarital affair with your sister."
"Aiden relax, it's not like that, your mistaken" I say as I stood up slowly.
"Mistaken for what? That my best friend is cheating on my sister and on top of that does not even have curtsey to defend her in front of others."
I hug him and say "It's not like that Aiden, he was..." he pushes me away and shouts "What like yesterday? I heard everything from Mom and Dad, moreover, I feel like killing Hazel for even getting you into her mess."
"Aiden look at me, please everything is fine and under control" I say and shakes his head for a no and says "Care to elaborate on the status of under control madam."
"We are doing good and also resolved our conflicts last night only Aiden."
"Stop it, Cassandra, just stop and tell the truth for once, that this marriage is not working"
"Fine Aiden this marriage was not working until yesterday but he promised me that he will seriously try this time" I say and he grabs my shoulder and shouts "See Cassandra he promised me to look after you and take care but he did not fulfil his promise, that is Vincent, he will never change, yesterday whatever promise he made is just a lie, come out of delusion Cassandra."
"What do you expect me to do, divorce him and lose everything because those fuckers made sure this marriage has to somehow work until death do us apart, it does not matter to them how we do, all they want is an heir for the family" I shout and free myself.
Both of us don't talk for a minute when I finally break my silence and say "Aiden, all I am asking is for one last chance, let me give it to him, if he fails you have every right to kick his ass, I swear after that I will think of something, maybe escape from all this or just protect my heart or give them the heir they require and be free from all this."
"You think that is so easy?" he questions frustrated. "What else can be done, however, let's think about the future when needed, not now." He nods his head and we share a hug.
As I was about to exit his room "Aiden, Vincent was your closet friend even before I was his wife, so don't break that friendship because of me. If that happens I might never forgive myself." I say and he nods and tells "I will try Cassandra."
