News of the super rare Pokémon spread through Fula city like a forest fire
Kid on tv: I got a ground breaking important news flash! There's an extremely rare Pokémon in Fula city! If your a Pokémon trainer you can't let this moment pass you by!
Meanwhile in the outskirts of town, a shadowy figure was watching the bulletin, with a quartet of dromeosaurs by his side, along with one theropod with an all too familiar neck and tail of quills and bulldog snout
Meanwhile in another part of Fula city, Morgan was having dinner with her father
Oliver: did you have fun at the festival?
Morgan: yeah! It was lots of fun! I rode on a rollercoaster and went into a haunted house, what about you?
Oliver: I was very busy today
Morgan: dad, that Callahan guy said something about a rare Pokémon being in the area but...
Oliver laughs
Oliver: some story. I haven't heard one word about that
Morgan: but, aren't there stories about zeraora?
Oliver: Margo, everyone knows that theirs no such thing as zeraora anymore. They've all gone extinct centuries ago
Margo: but dad-
Oliver: we can't have our citizens panicking about a Pokémon that doesn't even exist. Now I want no more talk of this, okay sweetheart?
Margo proceeds to leave the table and heads to her room
Oliver: now Margo I-
Margo closes the door behind her before he could finish. Meanwhile Steven and his friends were at a hotel as they were curious about what this rare Pokémon and where it may lie. Latias was already hard at work finding out what Pokémon it may be but all she found were the common types and lugia. And nothing else
Latias: whatever this rare Pokémon is, it sure likes being taken out of history books. Maybe it's a Pokémon that hasn't even been documented before
Steven: maybe. But whatever he or she is, it's our job to make sure their head isn't mounted on a wall by some poachers or caught in hunting traps
The next morning the group head into the elevator and when the door opens it reveals a startling sight
Steven: uh...you okay ma'am?
The girl looks to the gang and gasps in delight, but as the doors close she pries them open and walks right up to them
Girl: I found you!
Steven: you found us?
Latias: hey, back off lady! He's mine!
She then uses thunderbolt on the girl knocking her out
Leonard: that was a bit uncalled for
Later we see the group along with the girl walk down a green valley with sid gorging himself on baked goods from the bakery
Latias: so, sorry for earlier
Girl: no problem. Ancient history. I'm just so glad that THE Steven universe can help me!
Steven: well I hope we don't let him down
Girl: you see, my last big helper just told me nothing but lies
Steven: wait
They all stop as Diego stops to sniff a bush and growls. The others close in as manny pushes the bushes away to reveal a simple young eevee by the side of a cliff by herself
Girl: that's the one!
Latias: okay, how's the time for a small battle. What Pokémon do you have?
The girl, who was named risa, turns on a surprised face
Risa: I don't have any
Steven: you don't?
Latias: okay, I'll go in, but with a few low power moves so I don't hurt her too much
Manny; alright trainer in training, take it on
He shoves her onto the metaphorical battlefield As eevee takes notice and stands her ground. Eevee then uses sand attack. Risa crouches for cover ad latias shakes it off
Latias: just keep calm kid, and watch eevee closely
Risa nods confidently
Eevee then charges forward but latias dodges. Latias then charges forward and head burst eevee across the grass
Latias: now risa! The poke ball!
Risa nods and gets out her poke ball and tosses it at eevee? Only for her to break out. Eevee then uses swift as stars come but latias swoops up and uses a low power hyper beam to destroy the attack. She then uses dragon pulse on eevee knocking her out cold. Risa then tosses her poke ball at eevee, and like that it lit up indicating capture
Latias: nice job risa
Risa: so does that mean I got her?
Steven: yep. Lucky you!
Risa: alright! I just caught an eevee! Thank you guys
They smile before all gasping in shock
Sid: AAHHH! WHERE ARE YOUR EYEBROWS?!
Risa gasps in shock and covers the top of her eyes. Later we see the gang having themselves a picnic as risa comes and lets out her eevee to show to the others
Eevee: hi everyone
Risa: I'm risa, can we be friends?
Eevee: I just got caught. It may take a while before we're there, okay?
Risa: oh, uh. Okay
Later Steven latias and risa are together while the others were relaxing
Risa: this is the first time I ever caught a Pokémon! This feeling is so exhilarating! I haven't felt this passion in so long!
Steven: yeah, it's pretty exiting isn't it
Risa: I've been training in dragon valley for years and I had no idea I could catch a Pokémon
Latias: then your quick on your feet?
Risa: believe it or not, I was the regional champion!
Steven: no way! Really?
Risa: but then, I gave up
Latias: what? Why?
Risa: because, I got injured during a wild rapidash and zebstrika stampede. It's healed up good as new now, but then I got a fear of running
Steven: well with eevee, maybe you'll be able to again
Risa: how come?
Steven: I mean, what you can't do, you can with a Pokémon friend. Like me
Latias smiles as he meant it in a nice way
Risa: really?
Steven nods. But suddenly, they heard a police siren and see officer Jenny driving by
We cut to downtown where the police are observing strange tampering with the festivals electric systems, detergents vandalized and strange two toed footprints all over town
Steven: who would do this?
Latias: I don't know
Risa then glares at Callahan and stomps over to him
Risa: HEY YOU! I have a bone to pick with with you asshole! Thanks to you I-
Callahan covers her mouth
Callahan: hey quiet down will ya? My niece is here so gimme a break
Risa: ugh! People like you end up in deep trouble pal
That's when Callaghan's niece kellie walks up to them
Kellie: hey I know you! You caught the Pokémon you wanted!
Risa: right! Thanks to your cool uncle here!
Oliver: I'm sorry everyone, I'll make an announcement once the festival is reopened, we ask for your continued patience.
Everyone proceeds to leave as latias and company walk up to Oliver and Margo
Steven: sir; maybe we can help out
Margo: hey!
Oliver: amazing, you know each other already?
Margo: we met in town yesterday
Risa; when you said "we", you weren't signing me up right?
Steven: of course. The more who help out the sooner things get done
Kellie: uncle Callahan! Can we help too?
Oliver: it would be great to receive aid from you
Callahan: well I actually can't stay, I have things to do
Risa: liar. I feel sorry for your niece. I'll stay quiet and you'd better stay and help
Callahan: alright fine
Steven: okay, let's go
Later we see the tv news
Tv kid: day two of the wind festival is already in chaos! Someone has been playing tricks on the town ruining the festivals opening, but everyone is working hard to reopen the festival so don't worry
We see everyone cleaning up the town. As we see the kids from yesterday
Lead kid: I can't believe we're on cleanup duty!
Phanpy kid: it's obviously zeraora's curse
Steven: zeraora?
Latias: curse?
Phanpy kid: you don't know? When the last zeraora vanished from the fire 50 years ago, the mountain was cursed
Pudgy kid: if anyone sets foot on the mountain, it'll bring disaster!
Lead kid: that's zeraora's curse!
Margo: that's a lie! None of its true!
Risa: hey Margo, what's wrong?
That's when they hear the speakers
Speakers: this is a special message from the festival administration. Since we've met safety standards at all locations, we hereby reopen the wind festival
Sid: yay!
Elizabeth: you hear that Eve!
Eve sighs her mother tightly
Steven: that's good to hear. Then let's get this place cleaned up
Just then Callahan runs off leaving everyone suspicious
Risa: Callahan's acting very weird
Steven: come on. Let's see what he's up to
They all proceed to follow him as they head to the town center where a large presentation was being held, run by the scientist toren, who was having bad stage fright
Toren: so, uh...I'd like to thank you all for coming here today. We wish to present our Pokémon research
We cut to see Callahan outside the building but everyone catches up to him as toren, inside shows a visual of Callahan on his winning streak yesterday with Steven and the gang shocked
Steven: is that you?!
Callahan: uh...
Kellie: you mean you... lied?
Meanwhile inside the scientist turned off the visuals as someone inside the lab turns off power. Then the footsteps of a large theropod are heard; with a toe claw tapping the floor
Outside kellie was so upset she zooms off
Callahan: kellie wait!
Suddenly, I'm the building the glass bursts apart to reveal a scorpios rex roaring in primal fury with a quartet of atrociraptors behind him. They sprint out of the building scaring everyone in their wake and heading into the city
Steven: after them!
Steven and his friends chase after the theropods while risa helps her eevee as it was caught in a stampede of scared civilians
With Steven and his friends they were chasing the rogue dinosaurs as the scorpios uses his quills like a tornado and launches them to tue hind quarters of a mastodon. It trumpets in pain before the atrociraptors rip the quills off as all five of them flee while the mastodon goes berserk. The mastodon eyes the gang and charges but manny locks tusks with it. The two mammals tussle with one another before the authorities come and capture the rabid mammal
We cut to later that night as Steven and company come to the Pokémon center with everyone with the exception of kellie and Margo there
Toren: any luck?
Diego: we looked everyone, but no sigh of the raptors
Steven: is eevee okay?
Risa: she's okay, a little banged up but she'll be okay
Latias: I don't get it. I'm familiar with that scorpios but I haven't seen one of those for a while. And who were those other raptors?
Toren: they are a species called atrociraptor, and what they stole was a fexplorer
Latias: but what about officer Jenny?
Toren: I filed a report. She said she'd investigate
Steven: okay; but maybe we should get some rest
Soon they all leave as Steven and company head into their hotel room and look to the sky to see a quarter moon in the sky, meanwhile Margo heading up to her balcony at her house looking over the city with a determined face
Meanwhile at the bottom of the ocean near the city, a crack is formed in the oceans depths revealing molten waterproof lava as a large creature emerges
