Niall and Delilah
Delilah perched herself in the recliner and watched as Harry took the baby out of the little bed thing next to Claire's bed..
"Does he have a name?" Delilah asked
Harry kneeled next to the toddler, and the chair, with the little boy in his arms..
"Delilah, this is your little brother Malachi" Harry told her softly
"Malachi.. what's his middle name? Like mine?" she asked
"No.. His isn't Jean, it's Reese" he told her
"Reese. I like it" she whispered
"He's sleeping" she said after a moment
"He's really tired."
"He's pretty. Like mommy and daddy" she grinned
"Yeah, he is, isn't he?" Claire smiled
Niall's hands shook as Harry set the newborn in his arms.. He held him oh-so-gently and watched him with teary eyes
"Hi.. oh, wow.. Hi, Malachi. I'm Niall. Uncle Niall"
"Actually.." Claire cleared her throat
"We.. need a god father for the child" she told him
"W-what?"
"We want you to be the god father.. I mean, after seeing how well you are with Delilah, we thought-"
"Yes" Niall blurted out as two tears slipped down his face, followed by two or three more
"Yes, yes, I'd love that" he whispered as he looked back down
