Hope POV.
I was sleeping on the bed, that's actually the only thing I can do in this room I tried reading, checking for an open door, going through all the fancy clothes in the wardrobe, but now that I lost all the faith I had to go out of here, I choose to do nothing.
I always had depression problems, and no one knew about it, without my medicine I'm slowly losing energy to pretend like always, I usually laugh a lot and act as if I'm a strong, happy girl but in fact that's not true at all, that's just my mask .
I got out of my thoughts when I heard the door knocked I was waiting to see Hades, but Marta opened the door and walked in "how are you dear?" I can see she is pitying me "I would be better if I could go out" I replied hoping she would help me escape, but she is like a mother to Hades so no way that happens
"Dear I'm here to help you shower and get changed for dinner, you will eat with Master" she said politely like a robot .
I wasn't in the mood to shower or do anything since I lost my hope of my parents coming and take me out of here, I guess at first I looked at this situation as a joke, but now everything is getting real.
"I don't want Marta leave me alone" I covered my head under blanket .
"Please Hope I might get fired, I can't leave Hades alone" she begged me I have a soft heart you know, I got up and walked to the shower "I can't believe you Marta! He is so mean yet you don't want to leave him? I would fly away if I was you" she replied with a smile.
"that's because you don't know him yet dear"
I took a shower and when I went out, Marta was waiting for me with a dress in her hand, well, I wouldn't call that dress it barely cover the body
"Marta, there is no way I would wear that in front of him" I went straight to the closet to find something else to wear, but it was locked "Marta! Why 're you doing this, you're with me or him? I can't believe you" I was so disappointed
"Sorry dear, tonight is so special for both of you I want it to be memorable" she is so. weird arguing with her is pointless i just took the dress and wear it.
But Marta started putting makeup on me, I'm so tired of arguing.
She looks like a crazy woman and the kind that would kill for her master, even if Hades doesn't ask her, she would do anything for him! Sometimes I feel like she is in love with him so arguing with her or asking her for help is no use.
I sat there emotionless until she was done.
"Let's go downstairs dear, Master must be waiting for you, we can't make him wait" I'm getting scared of her even more than Hades
I walked down to see the table ready and Hades in his formal black suit with dark blue tie as I step near the table I felt like I'm getting closer to my death
He pulled out a chair for me and helped me sit
I murmured a thank you and sat there like a good girl I could hear my heart beat, currently I would rather not mess with him .... Or Marta.
"Eat baby, it's your favorite food" said Hades and started eating his meal I was scared it might be drugged again I was stiff I couldn't move .
Hades noticed the situation and took a spoon full of my food and ate it "see! It's not drugged you can eat now it's delicious" I felt a little safe and started to eat
When the food was over he wiped his lips with the tissue and got off the chair, kneeled in front of my chair and pull out a box! God, please no nono
He opened it and yes, it was what I feared the most
A ring and if it wasn't from Hades, it would be my favorite ring "Marry me" he said with a firm tune there was no question in his sentence.
"um shouldn't it be ... different? Are you requesting me? Or ordering me! what kind of proposal is that and of course No," I said unsure of what this whole thing means.
He lifted my left hand and put the ring on my ring finger and said "I'm not asking you hope I'm notifying you that we are getting engaged this weekend,"
I got off the chair to leave the table, I already had enough of this bullshit but he putted both of his hands on my shoulders and pushed me down to sit then whispered in my ear "don't make me mad again little one" he rubbed my shoulders in a way that it started to hurt
" I always wanted to be near you and play with you but you ignored me for 20 fucking years, but now you can't do that baby you will play with me just..." he ran his fingers on my naked back from up to down
