Stella's pov: it's been a couple weeks since we came up on that crash where I helped protect a woman from going down a long battle of getting hit by her boyfriend I checked in on her every once while and she is doing a lot better than she was. Right now the whole fire house gets called to a school where is a jet engine crashes into it, when we first looked there was really no way to help get the victims out of the one area but Mason came up with an idea and we cleared up by about it and we started to get that area cleared. About five minutes later the wall of the classroom was finally down and squad helped get the high schoolers out of the danger, and of course Kelly is the last one to come out so as I wait on him to come out I start to be scared but once he comes out I take a breath in a sigh of relief then I end up hugging him and giving him a kiss on the cheek we clean up the site and head back to the fire house
K= hey nice words back to Mason
ML= oh thanks Lieutenant
H= oh my years and the CFD I've never seen anything like that
CZ= hey how did you know it would work
ML= I didn't I mean I figured it might but back in Colorado we cut down trees close to homes or low hanging limbs near a fire line you need to head to fall away so you don't create a bridge
BG= see they don't teach that in the safety Academy so what's the trick
ML= it's all about the angles you want a hammer in a wedge if you can but... ( they walk away as they finish talking while I go and see the chief)
S= hey chief we're finally back it took forever for the FAA to get there
CB= hey have you seen this ( looks at Kylie ) The young man's name is needles
S= that's a weird one
CB= yeah I don't like the look of him in this chitchat thing has been going on all day
S= have you talk to him at all maybe he's a good guy
CB= no unlike Kylie and needles i'm too busy to lean on a desk making small talk ( which his is and he gets up) we do not pay him to stand around and flirt this whole thing means trouble
S= well cheap with all due spectrum not Kylie's father I'm pretty sure she can handle herself .., ( see him look at me) i'm just gonna go right at my report
I leave the chief's office and go do my paperwork I need to do but first I go and stop by Kelly's office
K= what up

AC= My team's at the scene right now trying to determine the cause of the engine failure but to do that they're gonna need to reconstruct the entire assembly but they are missing the upper Stark bored Side engine mounting strut I'm gonna need it back
CB= i'm sorry what
AC= One of my guys saw the officer of squad three leave the crash site with that strut in hand
K= whoa whoa Officer squad three I didn't take any souvenirs

Once he leaves the whole firehouse is told to look for it but we couldn't find it the next day on Shift Kelly decides to take squad three back to the school to talk to highschoolers to see if they seen the strut wow he's not doing that I decided to check in on needles myself

N= yeah

About 10 minutes later Kelly comes back and we meet in the Chiefs office to discuss things
K= We've search the house all the rigs I've reached out to the entire high school and that strut still hasn't surface any further word for FAA
CB= Well they're gone straight up the chain of command fire commissioner city comptroller mayors office but I told them all the same thing you didn't take it
S= does Kelly need to talk to the union web maybe lawyer up
CB= The fact that culter never came with a search warrant suggest he doesn't have a very strong case against you so maybe we should all just sit tight let this whole thing blow over
K= i'm not gonna sit tight whole you're getting angry phone calls from the mayor's office guess I'll just order some spring cleaning search all the rigs again ( he leaves)
CB= so what do you think of needles
S= I mean maybe he's not the most friendly guy in the world but you know that generation sure he's harmless
CB= well Kylie tells me he took her on a date so they're seeing each other now
S= what no way uh-huh no we can allow Argo to lower her standards like that

Me and Boden figure out a way to talk to Kylie about needles in the nicest way ( on the apparatus floor )

CR= of course what's going on

HS= maybe if if I tell you who caught it they're going to get in trouble
CR= that's not really up to us but it will be a lot better for them if they come forward with it voluntarily

CR= Kay but here's the thing Marco a firefighters going to end up taking the hit for this one of the guys that help Savior class mates are you OK with that look I know it's not always easy to do the white thing but you're not a coward I saw you brave a wall of fire to get yourself out of the classroom hell it even takes guts to come down here and talk to me but you got to finish what you started.

OB= please I didn't know what to do it was just a stupid mistake I thought it was basically junk but now if I turn it in I'm supposed to go to a college next year I got into an engineering program
K= things are gonna get a lot worse for you if you don't turn it in
OB= if I get any trouble they'll revoke my acceptance everything I've worked for just gone
K= all right just give me the strut and I'll make sure none of that happens

CB= i'm sure you can understand how Lieutenant severide confused it with his own tool after a long chaotic fire rescue

CB= can we assume that puts this ugly chapter behind us
AC= well I gotta get back to my guys make sure it's still intact but I should be able to convince my boss we don't need to press charges on this one

So after the guy leaves Kelly comes and tells me what happened and everything is now, after shift I tell him I plan on taking him somewhere special so we arrive
K= what are we doing here

( stop walkimg) okay so right over there that is where I almost lost you ( Kelly looks at her) you know I stood watching the boat in the water waiting for you to come up for air and ( face her) I mean I'll never forget that feeling just thinking of Life without you it felt like no life at all and I never want to feel that way again look we are both taking a big leap of Faith here you know we're jumping into the unknown that carries a lot of baggage from both of our past and neither of us thought we'd ever try again but we can do this I know it
K= I know it too I'm all in
S= and I know it may sound crazy but this is what I want to do it
