"COME ON!" stevie screams to chris sturniolo as he laid on his bed.
"chris it's our last day here and your spending it on the bed!" stevie holds his hands.
"matt and nic are already asleep and your awake, let's go!" she whined pulling his arms up.
"stevie it's night time, and we're in europe that's scary." chris clears up.
"yeah but..." she didn't really have an answer.
but she got her way because five minutes later they walked out the small house on the hill.
linking her arm into his she sighs the smell of nature.
chris looks to her beaming face, he falls in love every time he sees her.
they weren't anything, their feelings were just known, he likes her, she likes him, but that was kinda it.
a kiss and there but that was absolutely it.
"your so pretty." chris mumbles to her softly.
the girl looks up with a soft grin.
"your prettier." her hand goes up to his nose while bumping it with her finger.
"churros!" she screams pointing to thomas's churro stand.
"come on, come on." stevie drags him with her.
"fine, fine!" he yells letting go of her with a giggle.
"salut thomas." stevies lays her hands on the counter.
"coucou stephanie." the man smiles happily.
"hello chris." the elderly man turns to the boy as he waves chris waving back.
"Je pourrais avoir un paquet de six churros s'il vous plaît." stevie beams.
( Could I get a pack of six churros please )
"bien sûr!" thomas turns around and starts heating up the churros.
"smells good huh?" she asks chris.
"obviously." he laughs.
"guess your picking up on some french?" she questions.
"bro." he rolls his eyes.
"all i know is, voulez-vous coucher avec moi." he cackles holding his stomach while.
"real fucking mature." her hand slaps his back as she turns back to the finished dessert.
after paying they walk away both of them a skip in their step and interlocked arms.
"C'était le gamin de Lina?" ruby, thomas daughter walks out of the kitchen and asks her father.

"oui." the man mumbles.
"et c'était le garçon avec lequel elle a dit qu'elle voulait que Stephanie se marie?" ruby turns around with furrowed brows.
( and that was the boy she said she wanted stephanie to get married to? )
"oui." thomas chuckles softly.
"good?" stevie questions the boy who had a mouth full of churro.
"meh?" he shrugs.
"your not eating it right." she rolls her eyes.
"how do you not eat a churro correctly?" he mocked.
"you gotta dip it in the nutella, then dip it in the sugar." stevies stops walking and facing him while holding the chocolate covered dessert.
"and voila!" she happily says.
holding it up to his mouth he takes a bit making her smile at the cute boy.
"so?" she shook her shoulders.
"hm? might gotta check again." he shrugs taking another bite.
"maybe." another big munch.
"dude." her face blankly stares at him.
"oh pardon, i don't speak ze english." he says in french accent while running away from her.
"chris!" her voice screams sprinting after the boy.
"you have my wallet and phone." stevie booms after the running boy.
"catch me if you can!" he yells running as fast as light.
"you know i can't run after eating! i need to wait thirty minutes!" her fist gets thrown in the air while protesting.
"catch me if- oof!" and chris had rolled onto a small hill.
"HAHA- oh!" stevie cackles but quickly shutting up when she falls and rolls over next to him.
spinning till they got to the end and they laid on the freshly cut grass.
"this wouldn't have happened with you weren't a bitch." she mumbles looking up at the sky.
"i may be a bitch, but hey look at us, under the stars, don't tell me this isn't a taylor swift song." he giggles to her, making her smile.
he looks down to her eyes skimming the stars, and her nose shining in the moonlight.
oh but she's so pretty the stars would cry.
it was quiet just their arms laying next to them eyes on the night sky, and hearts beating.
stevie gulps as she feels his eyes on her.
he made her nervous just by staring.
minutes go by, maybe more than five minutes.
then chris's pinky slightly grazed stevies, ever so slightly.
but she knew.
her pinky touching his worriedly.

and once they did the two let a small sigh of relief.
quiet, no sound, only the wind howling, hearts beating and the lungs breathing.
the stars tried screaming at them, 'snap out of it! kiss!' but no quiet.
the old french couple watching them from their window hoped to scream for them.

because some hearts understand each other even in silence.
