*James' POV*
"Hey James?" Jen pondered walking into the room
"Yeah Jen?"
"Do you, ya know want to meet my parents?"
"Yeah, we should do that. Considering we've been dating longer than Brad and Lace, I probably should"
"Well they said we could go round at 7 and that's in uh, 2 hours"
"I'm already nervous, what should I wear?"
"Wear that leather jacket with a shirt and a pair of ripped black skinny jeans" She smiled
"Okay babe"
- 2 hours -
"Jennnn, I'm nervous as hell"
"James, they'll love you, don't worry"
Jen knocked on the door and a tall, blonde woman opened the door.
"Hey, Jennifer! How are you?"
"I'm good Aunt Suzie, how are you?"
"I'm very good thank you! Is this James then?"
"Hello"
"Hi James, it's lovely to meet you"
After meeting Jen's Aunt Suzie and Uncle Tony, it came the time to finally meet her Mum and Dad.
"Mum! Dad! How are you?" Jen smiled hugging her two parents
"Oh hello Jenny! When did you get here? Have you been waiting long?"
"No Mum, just 5 minutes or so..This is my boyfriend James by the way"
"Hi James, how are you sweetie?"
"I'm very good thank you Mrs. Holden. How are you?"
"Good thank you James but please call me Layla"
"Hello Mr. Holden, how are you?"
"Bonjour James, tres bien. Merci"
"Papa, Anglais, sil vous plait"
"Oh, sorry. Hello James, I'm good thank you and please call me Jacobé"
"Jen, you never told me your father was French?!"
"It never came up really, but I'm fluent"
"James these are my siblings,"
"That's Alex, he's 11 and Xaviér, he's 6"
"And they're my sisters, Sarai my big sis, she's 24. Blair is 16 and Amelie is 6. She's Xaviér's twin"
"Hello Everyone, I'm James. Jen's boyfriend"
A chorus of "Hello James" Echoed around the room.
"Wait, James...you're in The Vamps right? You guys are really cool" Blair asked
"Yeah I am, and thank you very much! What's your favourite song?"
"I like She Was The One and Risk It All"
"They're Brad and His girlfriends favourites! I wrote She Was The One, ya know"
"Really? That's so cool! Your song writings awesome!"
- Afterwards -
"Aha! That went so well! Your family is so cool! And they liked me, they really liked me!" I exclaimed way too over-excitedly.
"Thanks, I guess. I mean they're annoying to me but I'm glad it went well"
"Me too"

"Well my Mum has invited us round tonight so get dressedddd" I grinned

*Tris' POV*
"Hey Dad, hey Mum. This is my boyfriend Tristan Evans"
"Hello Mr and Mrs Carter"
"Hello Tristan, We're good thank you! How are you? And please call us Allie and Jonah!" Jess' Mum laughed
"I'm very good thank you"
"So, Tristan," Jess' Dad asked when we sat down
"What is your job?"
"I'm a drummer in the band, The Vamps, Sir"
"Oh yes! Jess used to be really obsessed with your band! She has posters all over her room!" Allie laughed
"Really? Why didn't you tell me Jess?"
"It's stupid really, and Mum I wasn't obsessed"
"Jess, may I have a word?" Jonah asked
"Yeah, sure Dad"
"Hey, Tristan?" Allie whispered
"Yes?"
"If Jonah is saying something bad to Jess, ignore it. I like you, you seem very lovely and perfect for Jess. Jonah can be very controlling and strict but it's only his way of showing he cares, you know?"
"Yeah, my uncle is like that with his kids"
"Ah, thank god you understand!"
"DAD! IM 19 YEARS OLD! I CAN MAKE DECISIONS FOR ME AND I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU WANT! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH BUT YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT WHO I DATE IS NOT YOUR CHOICE!" Jess yelled
"Tris, when they come down here take Jess and leave, Jonah is obviously not happy about you two. I'm sorry...I'll come and visit to get to know you better yeah?"
"Okay, I'm so sorry"
"It's alright"
"JESS. HE'S IN A BAND! YOU CAN'T DATE A BAND MEMBER! HE'LL SLEEP WITH SOMEONE ON TOUR AND BREAK YOUR HEART!"
"HE ISN'T LIKE THAT DAD! I LOVE AND TRUST TRISTAN! I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK ANYMORE! GOODBYE" Jess stormed downstairs, grabbing my hand
"Goodbye Allie, it was lovely to meet you"
"Bye, Tristan!" She waved
"Ugh! I can't believe my Dad!"
"It's okay Jess. C'mon, let's go home yeah?"

"Con, do you want to meet my parents?" Mia asked
"Yeah baby, what now or?"
"Well my Dad invited us round for dinner but my Mum said we could go round after"

"Hello Mia! Hi Connor, how are you?"
"We're good thanks Dad, how are you?"
"Good, come in! Chris made dinner!"
"Hey Mia! Hey Connor, I'm Chris"
"Hello Steven, Chris, I'm Connor how are you?"
"We're good thank you! Bet you didn't think Mia had two dads!" They laughed
"It's quite cool actually, I like your tattoos Steven"
"Thank you Connor, you got a good 'un, Mia"
"Dadddd" Mia groaned
"Chris tell Dad to not embarrass me!" Mia laughed
"Steven! Leave your poor daughter alone!"
"Sorry, Mia. Now Chris has made a stir fry, is that okay?"
"That sounds great, thank you" I laughed
"Where are the rascals?" Mia asked
"TWINS COME DOWN MIA'S HERE!"
"Yay!" Two little voices came plodding down the stairs
"Connor these are my brother and sister Heiro and Heather"
"Hello Heiro, you have a really cool name! I like it!" I smiled at the small boy
"Thank you Connor! Are you looking after Mia? Are you her knight?" He pointed to his knight outfit and smiled
"I guess so! Hi Heather! I like your dress, it's Belle right?"
"Yeah? You like Disney? Will you come look at my dolls? Pleasee?" She grinned
"Heather I don't think Connor wants to look at your dolls!" Mia laughed
"It's okay, sure Heather lets go!"
- After Dinner -
"Thank you for the lovely meal Chris and Steven, it was wonderful to meet you, goodbye!"
"Thank you Connor, it was nice to meet you too! Bye!" They smiled
"Now to Mums!" Mia smiled

"Connor! Hello! How are you? I'm Mandy and this is Graham" she pointed to the tall man behind her
"Hello! I'm good thank you how are you?"
"We're good thank you!"
"AMY? ELSA? IM HERE" Mia yelled
"Hey Graham" She smiled
"Hey Mia, Hi Connor? I'm Elsa"
"Hi Elsa, y'alright?"
"I'm good thanks"
"Hey Con! I'm Amy. The nicer twin," She elbowed Elsa
"How are you?" She finished
"Haha, good thank you!"
"Where's Alex?"
"Upstairs I think...ALEX?!" Amy yelled
"YEAH AMY?"
"COME DOWN ASSHOLE AND CONNOR ARE HERE!"
"Rude!" Mia laughed
"Mia!" Alex grinned from the stairs
"Alex! You're back!" Mia grinned, running to hug her brother.
"Hey Connor, you okay?"
"Woah! I'm fine thanks" I smiled
"Oh shit yeah Con, this is my brother Alex, yeah from All Time Low"
"Mia, you said your last name was Saffron?"
"Yeah, that's Chris' last name, I said that because I thought everyone would freak if I said Gaskarth because I know y'all like All Time Low"
"So you're actually Mia Gaskarth?"
"Yeahhhh, OH MY GOD ALEX CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT" Mia half-yelled
"Thanks, sis! I'm very lucky and oh! We would like you to be head bridesmaid!" Alex smiled
"WHAT?! REALLY?!" All three girls yelled
"All three of you will be bridesmaid's, but Mia is Lisa's Maid of Honour because Lisa has no siblings and wanted you over her cousins"
"Lisa is the best! She's always been my favourite of your girlfriends" Mia laughed, nudging Alex
"Guys! I just made some pizza and snack-y bits! They'll be ready in 10, okay? Put some TV on?"
"Oh, hey, Mia where is Emily?"
"Con, can I talk to you upstairs?"
"Yeah sure.."
We went into the first bedroom on the landing, which was Mia's old room it was covered in My Chem, All Time Low and Fall Out Boy. Literally. Covered.
"Right, please don't talk about Emily in front of my mum or the girls. Me and Alex can deal with it but them not so much..."
"Mia, please you're scaring me..."
"Uh, Emily is in hospital at the moment. She was diagnosed with a cancer in her leg. They're doing all they can though so we have hope for her..." She trailed off
"Mia, why didn't you tell me?"
"Because it broke my heart to hear it and I just didn't want to talk about it. I saw your bond with her and I didn't want to upset you" She frowned
"Mia, you should've said something, I'm sorry..she'll be okay though, Em is a trooper!...Should we go and chat? Take your mind off it?"
"Yeah" She smiled

Brad;
"Lace? Mum wants to go round for tea" I leaned my chin onto her shoulder where she was sat watching a Disney movie
"Okay, give me twenty minutes..wait what should I wear?"
"The red dress, you know the one with the birds? And like converse or something" I kissed her cheek and she wondered upstairs
"LACEEEE YOU'RE TAKING FOREVER"
"I gotta look good though"
"You've already met my parents before though...just not my family"
"YOUR FAMILY IS GOING TO BE THERE?"
"Yeah...did I not say?" I smirked
"Bradley Will Simpson I am actually going to kill you"
"Sorry babe, let's just go they'll love you anyway"
"Ugh fineeee" she groaned
- Family Barbecue -
"Lace! Brad! You're here!" Brad's mum hugged us as we walked in.
"Hello! How are you?"
"I'm good thanks guys, do you wanna go out to the garden that's where it's all happening" She laughed
"Hey Dad, hey Uncle Josh" Brad smiled
"Hi Bradley, how's life?" Josh smiled, he seemed a lot younger than his parents.
"Good, Dad you already know but Uncle Josh this is my wonderful girlfriend Lace"
"Hiya Lace, y'alright?" Josh smiled, checking me out
"I'm good thanks, how are you?"
"Great thanks, sweetheart"
"Oi, Josh" Brad said
"Hey Mum where's Jesse?"
"She was right there, with Auntie Helena"
"Brad, the gates open" I nudged him
