It was a hot day and I was sitting underneath the Giving Tree while trying to cool off.
"It's hot..."
I said to Michael, waving my sun hat near my face.
"How about we make some lemonade"?
Michael asked.
"Yes! Let's do it".
So, we went to the store to buy some lemons.
When we got there, almost all the lemons were sold out.
I quickly grabbed the last three and Michael went to go pay for them at the cash register.
After we got back to Neverland, I carried the lemons into the kitchen.
Michael washed them in the sink and while he was doing that, I took out a pitcher and some cups.
"Okay, I'll squeeze the lemon juice and then when I'm done, you can add the water".
I watched as the king of pop squeezed the juice out from the lemons.
He then poured it into the pitcher.
I turned onto the sink and added some water.
Michael went to the refrigerator to get some ice cubes to keep our lemonade cold.
Once I added some sugar, I mixing everything together by stirring it with a spoon.
Michael took a sip and he made a disgusted face.
"Is it too sour"?
I asked with a giggle.
"Yes it is. Add a little bit more sugar please".
I added a teaspoon of sugar and then took a sip.
"Delicious"!
We poured ourselves a cup and then went outside to sit down in the shade next to the Giving Tree.
What a nice day to have fresh lemonade!
