-GEORGE's POV-
I slowly opened my eyes to meet Dream's. He was running his hand through my hair while smiling at me.
My cheeks immediately flushed red as I smiled.
GEORGE:
"Such a creeper." I joked which made him giggle.
I buried my head in his neck as he rested his chin on my head while holding me closer.
DREAM:
"How'd you sleep?"
GEORGE:
"Good. You?"
DREAM:
"I slept okayish."
GEORGE:
"Still thinking about Sapnap?"
He sighed and held me tighter then kissed my head.
DREAM:
"He went too far..." he said lowly.
I shot my eyes up to see his jaw clenched as his eyes were focused on the closed door. I frowned.
GEORGE:
"He didn't know Hunter would come after me again..." I said quietly while looking back down at his shirt.
DREAM:
"He said you were being a baby..." he shook his head, "If he wouldn't have been the baby, then you wouldn't have gone out when your gut was telling you not to."
GEORGE:
"Hunter probably would have gotten to me anyways..." I mumbled while frowning.
I started to mess with his shirt then he sighed and sat up, resulting in me sitting up. Dream held my hands and stared into my eyes with a frown.
DREAM:
"At least you don't have to worry about Hunter anymore."
My eyes trailed down to our hands.
GEORGE:
"He said he got bailed out..." I said lowly.
DREAM:
"He also said he had your sister which was a lie."
GEORGE:
"But how could he possibly overpower 4 guards outside of his cell 24/7?"
DREAM:
"By lying to them probably. I don't know but, trust me George..." he kissed the back of my hand which made me smile with a blush, "It's really over this time."
GEORGE:
"You sound like a writer." I joked, "Like 'I'm gonna put you all through hell 29 million times then when you think it's over, it's really not.' That's what we thought the times before anyways, Dream..."
He sighed then looked down at our hands and squeezed them.
DREAM:
"We can talk to Mae about it." He nodded, "She'll help us like she did before."
I nodded then sighed.
GEORGE:
"I feel so bad for Olivia..."
DREAM:
"Me too..." he frowned.
GEORGE:
"We should talk to Sapnap..."
Dream clenched his jaw while turning his attention away from me.
GEORGE:
"He said he was sorry..." I said quietly.
DREAM:
"That doesn't mean he is." He snapped while looking back at me.
GEORGE:
"You're right...but life is short, Dream. Hell, we know that first hand..."
He sighed while looking back down at our hands, rubbing his thumb over mine.
GEORGE:
"He's your best friend."
DREAM:
"No, you are."
GEORGE:
"I'm your boyfriend."
DREAM:
"So? You're both."
GEORGE:
"Well...Sapnap was there for you before I was." I shrugged, "He was your best friend before and I basically replaced him."
His eyebrows squished together as he frowned.
DREAM:
"What...? What're you talking about?"
GEORGE:
"I mean...I barely see you two hangout anymore. Like you and I are always together, which I love, don't get me wrong but...if I was Sapnap, I'd be jealous that I wouldn't be getting any attention from my best friend."
Dream sighed and clenched his jaw while looking down.
GEORGE:
"He's your best friend, I'm just the husband." I joked which made him huff out a smile, "I'm just saying. I'm glad you consider me to be both but...I don't know, I can understand why he said those things about me. It was out of jealously."
My eyes widened once I said that.
GEORGE:
"That's why he always cringes when we kiss or cuddle or anything...why he always went out with Olivia to get away from us...he's wanted our attention the whole time and we just abandoned him..." my voice trailed off as I frowned, trailing my eyes down to my lap.
Dream sighed nervously then ran his hands through his hair then leaned his fist against his temple, resting his elbow on his knee.
DREAM:
"We fucked up..." he said lowly.
A smile slowly formed across my face as an idea popped into my head.
GEORGE:
"I know just how to fix it."
-SAPNAP's POV-
I ended up driving to get some fast food for Dream, George and I since Olivia wanted to be alone.
I really hoped they could forgive me.
I didn't mean any of the things I said. I was just so annoyed with everything that's happened and how powerless I was to do anything.
I couldn't protect my best friends when they needed me the most. That made me stay up late sometimes. While they were downstairs, I was up in my room in my bed on my back, holding my hands over my chest as I stared up at the blank ceiling, thinking over everything that's happened, and everything I could've done to help them.
Once I made it home, I grabbed the fast food bags and climbed out of the drivers seat. After that, I shut the door then walked up the steps to the front door. I breathed out nervously.
"Just go in there and apologize again." I thought.
I unlocked the door and swung it open. My eyes widened once I saw what was inside.
There in the living room was Dream and George laying down on their stomachs next to each other. There were several blankets made into a fort along with pillows and Star Wars movies. Along with ice cream and twinkly lights.
Their eyes lit up when they saw me.
GEORGE:
"About damn time." He mocked my voice.
I laughed while my eyebrows squished together.
SAPNAP:
"What is all this?" I asked while shutting the door behind me.
DREAM:
"SapNotTaken night or whatever the hell the three of our names put together is." He raised his eyebrows while George giggled.
SAPNAP:
"Really...? You guys did all of this for me?" I asked quietly as I pouted.
They both nodded with grins.
SAPNAP:
"Wow..." I laughed, "Cool, cool. I bought us fast food if you guys want it."
GEORGE:
"Is that even a question?" He smiled.
They climbed out of the fort and joined me in the kitchen to get all of our food on plates. Once we did that, they were about to go back to the fort when I sighed.
SAPNAP:
"Guys?"
They turned around to face me while holding their drinks and plates.
SAPNAP:
"I'm really sorry...for everything. What I said was out of line and...I just wanted you guys to have a good time..."
DREAM:
"With you."
I raised my eyebrows.
DREAM:
"You wanted us to have a good time with you, and we were stupid to not realize that. Just like we've been stupid with how we didn't try to listen to you."
George nodded.
DREAM:
"We're sorry too...for everything." he frowned.
I smiled while looking down at the counter.
SAPNAP:
"I forgive you guys. After all, I can't be mad at you idiots for long." I joked which made them both laugh.
The three of us laid down together next to each other in the fort, our food in front of us along with our drinks. I laid in the middle of them.
GEORGE:
"So, I liked the first Star Wars movie way more than I thought I would." He smiled at me.
SAPNAP:
"Well obviously. It's amazing." I smiled back.
DREAM:
"That's why we're gonna watch all the movies tonight."
SAPNAP:
"Really?" I smiled widely.
They laughed.
DREAM:
"Yep."
GEORGE:
"We'll also keep the DNF-ness to ourselves." He joked, "No cuddling, no kissing—"
SAPNAP:
"No eye-fucking." I interrupted with a nod which made them both burst out laughing.
DREAM:
"What?? We don't do that."
SAPNAP:
"Yeah you do." I raised my eyebrows while smiling, "Every time you two look at each other the sexual tension is through the damn roof—"
We all bursted out laughing.
GEORGE:
"You're such an idiot..." he shook his head while smiling at the tv, "Let's start the movie already."
SAPNAP:
"Dreamy poo, be a dear and put the disk in."
DREAM:
"Lazy motherfuckers." He joked while rolling his eyes.
George and I giggled then Dream climbed out of the fort and put the movie in the DVD player. Once he did, he grabbed the remote then came back to us.
The movie started shortly. The three of us ate the fast food along with the ice cream Dream got for us.
We ended up getting distracted in the middle of the movie and just started talking about the stupidest shit we could think of. The memories of the SMP, the memes we always send each other and DNF jokes.
George grabbed his phone from his pocket then pulled up his camera app.
GEORGE:
"Pose for the camera, idiots." He held it up to the three of us.
Dream and I laughed then posed for the photo.
George sent us the photo through a group chat and then we all posted it to our Instagrams. Once it was posted, there were already several comments freaking out over it. We started to make more jokes about how much one thing we do or say gets the fans to freak out.
That night sure felt like old times. And it was perfect.
