Amelia POV
Now was finally the time. My Babygirl was on her way. I was now in the hospital room with everybody waiting and listening to the heartbeat.
"Her heartbeat sound so healthy" Melanie said
"And so steady" Mya said
"It's so beautiful" Telee said
"Can you feel the pain?" Mrs Sherhonda asked
"A little but not much like it was" I said
"Then it's working" Mrs Sherhonda said
We've been sitting here for about an 1 or 2 it was going on 8:00pm. I can't believe I was having the baby the same day we left the hospital. A knock on the door caused our attention.
"Come in" I said
"Mrs Amelia the baby decided to come today huh?" Dr Jason asked
"I guess she's ready to get out" I said chuckling
"Well let's check and see how dialed if y'all don't mind stepping out for a min" Dr Jason said
Everybody got up and stepped out except Kentrell.
"Okay let's prop your legs up" Dr Jason said
Dr Jason propped my legs up and took a look at how dilated I was.
"You are 5cm dilated. Real close!" Dr Jason said
"I have to be 10cm right?" I asked
"Yes just 10" Dr Jason said
"Okay" I said
Dr Jason put my legs back down and everybody else came into the room.
"You should be ready to give birth around 1am or 2am tomorrow" Dr Jason said
"Okay" I said smiling
"I'll be back to check in an hour or 2. Y'all have a great night" Dr Jason said
"You too" Mrs Sherhonda said
"2am tomorrow" Kentrell said smiling
"Yes" I said
I grabbed my phone and decided to tweet about Alaïa.
Baby Alaïa will be here tomorrow at 2am🥺!
It was going on 10pm and everybody was getting ready to go because visiting hours were over at the hospital. Mrs Sherhonda had to help Kentrell get into bed because he was still hurt from the car wreck.
"Alright FaceTime me when the baby is coming" Mrs Sherhonda said
"I will" I said
"I love you beautiful" Mrs Sherhonda said kissing my forehead
"I love you more" I said
Everybody gave me a hugs and left me and Kentrell alone.
"I'm not even tired" I said
"I know baby" Kentrell said
"I'm hungry" I said
"You can't eat anything bae" Kentrell said
"I know" I said
"Why the hell she calling me?" Kentrell asked
"Who?" I asked
"Yaya" Kentrell said
This girl really just want her ass whooped.
"Hello" Kentrell said
"Did you get my text?" Yaya said
"Yea" Kentrell said
"So do you think we can work things out?" Yaya said
I know this bitch didn't just ask that.
"Yaya I don't want to be with you. My girl about to give labor and you calling me on this bullshit" Kentrell
"Amelia's about to have the baby?" Yaya asked
"Yes bitch I'm about to have the baby" I said
"Girl" Yaya said
"See Nah bruh y'all ain't about to do this" Kentrell said hanging up
"Why you getting mad at me?" I asked
"It's her" I said
"We gone talk about it later" Kentrell said
"Okay" I said
Kentrell had no reason to be mad at me. Yaya was the one calling his phone talking about getting back together. I just decided to take me a nap.
Kentrell POV
I don't know why Yaya called my phone on some bullshit. Me and Yaya been over she only doing this shit cause she use to me cheating but I changed I love Amelia Ian cheating on her no more. I looked over to see Amelia fast asleep. I decided this was the time to text Yaya to tell her to stop doing this shit.
I locked my phone and put it on the charger Yaya was childish as hell but I wasn't about to let that stop me from seeing my son. I just wish I wouldn't have picked crazy baby mommas. I felt my eyes getting heavy and ended up taking a nap.
3hours later.....
1:00am
I woke up to one of the nurses tapping on me.
"She is 10cm dilated and we are getting ready for her to push" The nurse said
"Okay thank you for waking me" I said
I got up and walked over to Amelia.
"You good?" I asked
"It hurts" Amelia said
"I know baby I'm right here hold my hand" I said grabbing Amelia hand
This shit was really real they had the baby bed set up and everything.
"Your mom on the phone over there" Amelia said
"Okay. You just focus on breathing" I said
"Can you stand?" Amelia asked
"I'm good baby" I said
"You sure?" Amelia asked
"Yes mama" I said
"Okay Mrs Amelia we are going to prop your legs up okay. " Dr Jason said
"Okay" Amelia said
They propped Amelia's legs up and the baby heart beat speed up as she moved.
"Unhook the heart beat" Dr Jason said
"Okay" One of the nurse says
"You can do it Amelia!" I heard my mama say
Amelia was on a group call with my ma, Telee, Mya and Melanie.
"I'm about to be an auntie" Melanie said
I chuckled.
"Okay on this next contraction I want you to push" Dr Jason said
"Okay" Amelia said
"1....2.....3..... PUSH!" Dr Jason said
"OWWW IT HURTS!!! " Amelia said pushing
"Your doing so good bae" I said smiling
"Breathe" Dr Jason said
Amelia breathe for a little bit and I seen another long contraction come up.
"1.....2.....3 ..... PUSH" Dr Jason said again
"UGHHHHHHHH!" Amelia screamed
"2 more pushes and she out. breathe" Dr Jason said
"I'm right here baby" I said holding her hand
"I'm never having anymore kids" Amelia said
Everybody in the room chuckled.
Alright 1......2......3...... PUSH!" Dr Jason said
Amelia pushed as hard as she could. I seen half of my baby girls body slide out.
"Last push I promise!" Dr Jason said
"It hurts so bad" Amelia said
"I know mama" I said kissing her forehead
"Okay 1......2.......3..... PUSH PUSH PUSH!" Dr Jason said
Amelia pushed one more time and my Babygirl popped out. The nurse turned her over popped booty and she cried.
"You want to cut the cord" Dr Jason said smiling
"Yes" I said smiling
I cut the cord and they took her over and wrapped her up. One of the nurses gave me the phone and I turned the camera over to Amelia.
"You did it baby" I said
"Here you go" The nurse said handing Amelia Alaïa
"She look like you" Amelia said looking at me
"My genes strong" I said
"I pushed you out just for you to look like your big headed daddy" Amelia said smiling
I chuckled
"What's her name?" The nurse asked
"Alaïa Gaulden " Me and Amelia said together
"She's beautiful" My ma said
"Congratulations bro" Demario said
"Appreciate it" I said
"You wanna hold her?" Amelia asked
"Yea" I said smiling
Amelia gave me Alaïa and I walked around the room smiling. My daughter was so beautiful man. Amelia swear she look like me but I see her
"Daddy's Babygirl" I said kissing her hands
I was the happiest man right now. Nobody couldn't ruin this night.
