They all looked at Haein with their wide eyes including Jennie.
"W-What did you... s-say?" Jennie stuttered
They are all waiting for Haein to speak and then suddenly.
"You should've seen your faces! That was so funny." Haein burst out laughing
Jisoo furrowed her eyebrows. "What are you saying?" She asked Haein
"I w-was just... k-kidding, Jisoo." He said between his laughter
Rosé and Lisa just released a relieved sigh and went back to eating.
Jisoo was relieved too but this joke is not funny at all. He finds Haein a funny guy sometimes but this time, he's not. He just made Jisoo's heart pound so fast because of nervousness.
Haein stopped laughing and looked at Jennie. "I'm just messing with you. I'm sorry but should've seen your face but maybe it's because you are so confused about what I'm saying, not because I found your secret, right?" He said jokingly.
Jennie just force a smile, he just punched him mentally.
'Can he stop joking? We are not even close. I'm relieved that he was just kidding but fuck him!" She mentally cursed him
"Oh. Y-yeah I was confused about what you were saying." Jennie chuckled awkwardly
He chuckled "but...are you really gay?" He asked Jennie.
"Yes, I am," Jennie replied.
Haein nodded slowly and asked again. "I was just joking earlier but do you like, Jisoo?"
Jisoo's eyes widened with the sudden question then she looked at Jennie waiting for what her girlfriend would say.
'He's getting to my nerves already.' Jennie thought
"What kind of question is that? Jisoo is my friend." Jennie tried her best to reply in a casual way
"But it doesn't mean that you can't like her."
"I don't. I'm already in love."
It's true though, she doesn't like Jisoo because she loves her.
Haein smiled widely and Jennie stopped herself from rolling her eyes at him.
"Really? So you have a girlfriend now?" He asked.
Jennie just hummed in response, she just want to change the topic but Haein still keep on asking.
"Where is she? You should've invited her"
"She's busy," Jennie replied shortly
Jisoo cleared her throat. "Uhm. Haein, let's have a sleepover later" she butted in to make Haein stop from asking questions to her girlfriend
"Sleepover? Where?" He asked
"In our house. Dad will be on a business trip for 3 days, right?"
"Yes."
"But can you ask Dad first? He trusts you, I know he will agree if you are the one who will ask permission."
"Of course, babe. I'll call him in a while. Let's eat first." Haein grinned at Jisoo
Jisoo didn't have time to react to that because Jennie choked on her food.
"Jendeuk, are you okay?" Jisoo asked worriedly
"Y-yeah. I'm okay, chu." Jennie grabbed a glass of water to drink.
"Oh, by the way, I am not joking earlier when I said that I will tell not it to Mr. Kim. I know he is homophobic so your secrets are safe" Haein smiled widely at them before taking a bite on his food.
"Thank you, Haein." Jisoo gave him a small smile
"You're welcome, babe." Haein smiled back
Jennie cleared her throat. "I'm done. Let's go swim Lisa and Rosie." She stood up
"But we're just done eating," Lisa said
"I'm still full." Rosé said while rubbing her tummy
"Then I'll just go first." then she walked away.
Jennie wasn't in a mood anymore to swim so she just walked near the seashore.
Jennie sat in the sand when she found a spot where there's not a lot of people around.
"What are you doing here? I thought you'll go swimming" Jisoo suddenly appeared
Jennie didn't respond, she was busy drawing random things on the sand.
Jisoo let out a sigh and sat beside her girlfriend.
"Are you okay?" Jisoo asked while looking at her girlfriend
Jennie just hummed in response without looking at her.
"Look at me, Jendeuk."
When the brunette looked up to Jisoo, there are tears in Jennie's eyes.
Jisoo cupped Jennie's face. "Hey, why are you crying?" She asked while wiping her tears
Jennie just shook her head but still looked at Jisoo's eyes.
"Tell me please?"
"Why is it hard to be with you? Why we can't love each other freely? It hurts me seeing someone that's being sweet with you, calling you fiancee, calling you with endearments, that should be me." Jennie said while tears streaming down her face.
Jisoo pulled her for a hug, Jennie quickly hugged back and buried her face on Jisoo's neck.
"I'm sorry. Please....please don't give up on us." Jisoo hugged her tightly, and she can feel tears are forming in her eyes
She's scared that what if one day Jennie will realize that she's not worth it to fight for. Everyone has their limits, what if Jennie would get tired and give up.
Jennie stopped crying, she pulled away to look at Jisoo's eyes. "I will never give up on you, love. No matter how hard is it. It's hurting me now but I can handle it. You are worth it." Jennie smiled before giving a soft kiss to Jisoo's lips
"I love you, Jendeuk." Jisoo looked at Jennie lovingly
"I love you more, baby." She kissed her forehead before hugging her again.
"It's my first time to see you cry," Jisoo said while rubbing Jennie's back soothingly
"You made me cry."
"I'm sorry." Jisoo kissed the side of Jennie's head
Jisoo hissed in pain when suddenly she felt Jennie pinched her stomach. "Ouch! What was that for?!" Jisoo asked after pulling away
"Stop being sweet with Haein" Jennie looked at her girlfriend sharply
"I'm not. He's the one that's being sweet." Jisoo pouted while rubbing the part where Jennie pinched.
"And you like it?" Jennie narrowed her eyes
"Of course not. Don't be jealous, it doesn't affect me. I'm treating him as a friend."
"But he obviously likes you, Chu."
"He doesn't"
Jennie rolled her eyes at her girlfriend. "Stop being dense."
Jisoo chuckled and pecked Jennie's lips.
"I don't care if he does. I'm already in love with you and it will never change." Jisoo gave her a soft smile
"As you should be."
Jisoo giggled. "You are so cute when you're jealous."
"I'm not. Why would I be jealous of him? I'm hotter than him" Jennie smirked
"Of course, you are" Jisoo leaned in again to kiss Jennie.
"We should stop, Haein might see us," Jennie said after pulling away. She gave one last peck to Jisoo before standing.
"Let's go swim? Let's enjoy this day." Jennie pulled Jisoo up and clasped their hands together.
Jisoo just smiled and nodded and let her girlfriend pull her into the water to swim.

Mr. Kim agreed when Haein called him to ask permission. It made Jisoo happy, she can spend more time with her girlfriend.
They are now heading to Jisoo's house. They dropped Lisa and Rosé at Lisa's house to change clothes, Lisa will be the one to drive Rosé to their house to change also. While Jennie decided to just burrow clothes from her girlfriend. The truth is, she just doesn't want to leave her girlfriend alone with Haein.
"We are here," Haein said when they arrived at Jisoo's house.
"Are you sure that your Dad is not at home?" Jennie asked worriedly
"Oh don't worry, Jennie. He already left earlier, he's with my Dad." Haein said
Jisoo nodded and smiled at Jennie confirming that Haein was telling the truth.
"I'll be back later, I will go home now to change." He added
"Okay. We will cook for dinner while waiting for you, Lisa and Rosé."
"We?" Jennie raised her eyebrows at Jisoo
"Why?"
"You don't know how to cook, Chu," Jennie said teasing
Jisoo rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I know. You will cook for our dinner"
Jennie chuckled.
"Don't worry babe. I'll teach you how to cook after we get married"
Jisoo chuckled awkwardly.
Jennie cleared her throat. "Let's go?" She looked at Jisoo
"We will get inside. Take care." Jisoo said to Haein before going out of his car.

"He's getting into my nerves, Chu. Sometimes I would think that he knows something and he's doing it purposely."
Jennie said while chopping the meat furiously
"Jendeuk, you might cut yourself," Jisoo said who is sitting on the counter across from Jennie.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Jennie apologized when she realized what she's doing.
Jisoo smiled before going over to her girlfriend to hug her from behind.
"Chu I'm cooking"
"But I think you need to relax first, you can't cook while you are pissed" Jisoo kissed her nape and it sent shivers down to Jennie's body.
Jennie dropped the knife and turned around to look at her girlfriend, Jisoo's arms are still around Jennie's waist.
"He's pissing me off" Jennie pouted
Jisoo giggled and leaned forward to peck Jennie's lips. "Don't mind him, I'm all yours."
"Of course, you are mine. He can't take you away from me."
Jisoo smiled lovingly.
Jennie tucked some strands of hair behind Jisoo's ear before cupping her face. "I love you, baby."
"I love you too, Jendeuk."
Jennie slowly leaned in to capture Jisoo's lips. Their kiss was soft and passionate.
They were enjoying each other's lips and didn't notice that someone is already watching them.
It just took a second of pulling away when they heard someone speak.
"Jisoo."
