You walked out of your dorm and walking down the stairs only to see Malfoy already there. You raised a brow surprised that he really did want to come.
"Here, I thought you would rat us out like last time" You announced your presence making him look at you.
"And get another detention in the forbidden forest. Yeah, no" He deadpans making you chuckle walking up to him. He raised a brow at you as your chuckle wasn't sarcastic or in a mocking way. It was a genuine laugh.
"I really like bickering with you, Malfoy but we best hurry" You said looking at him walking out the common room. He trailed behind you as you both walked out the Slytherin Dorm.
"Lumos" Malfoy said lifting his wand up and the tip of his wand had light. The both of you walked side by side through the halls of the castle, in silence.
"Why do you want to join?" You asked looking at him
"I don't know. Stop asking questions before we get caught" He hissed in a whisper manner wanting you to shut up
"Alright, no need to be grumpy about it" You said rolling your eyes. Soon the two of you reach the Gryffindor dorm but the painting opened to show Harry, Hermione and Ron.
"He seriously came?" Ron said not believing this earning a smack from Hermione
"Well, we better get going" Harry said
"Before Neville rats us off"
"We'll we even fit in this?" You asked staring at the cloak "We better" Harry said putting the cloak over the five of you. It was big but not big enough. So you all had to walk very close to each other.
"I'm beginning to regret this"
"Then why'd you even come"

"No fighting. You'll get us caught" Hermione glared at the two of you who went silent but since all of you were walking to close to each other. It will begin to complicate things.
"Ow! You step on my foot!" You hushed whispered to Malfoy.
"Well, its not my fault that your foot was in my way" Malfoy spat in a hushed voice.
"Oh you two—" Before Hermione could finish her sentence a flame lights up. You lifted up your hand pointing to the lock
"Alohomora" You whispered and the lock opened. They walked in to see a three headed dog. It was your first time seeing this and it amazed you. Malfoy closed the door as Harry took off the cloak.
"Wait a minute...he's...." Ron paused "Sleeping"
"Snape's already been here. He's put a spell on the harp" Harry said
"Are you really even sure with this assumption of yours, Potter?" Malfoy asked
"I keep telling him not to assume things especially with people he isn't close with" You glared at Harry who shrugged at you. Malfoy rolled his eyes
"This is a stupid idea!" Malfoy said loudly
"Keep your voice down, Malfoy" Hermione said
"No one asked for your opinion, Mudblood" Malfoy spat
"And no one asked for yours. Shut it, Blondie" You hissed to him before Malfoy could come up with a snarky remark. Ron spoke up "Oh, its got horrible breath" you moved up closer examining it.
"Hey, Jarvis. You wouldn't mind and bring a small drone here" You said fascinated by the thing.
"Who are you bloody talking to, Potter—"
"Drone 67 is on its way" Jarvis said. You looked around and saw something flying down and it was a small drone.
"I need you film this whole thing for me, will you?" You asked slowly touching the dogs fur
"Potter, don't touch it and who are you talking to!" Malfoy hushed to you
"Ms. Stark, this is a suicide mission. Your Father wouldn't approve" Jarvis said through the earpiece
"Well he isn't here—"
"Potter!" Malfoy yelled as he grabbed you away from the three head dog as it awoke. Your eyes widen at this
"The harp. It stop playing!" Hermione pointed out. Drool dropped to Ron's shoulders.
"Ew! Yuck!" Ron yelped in fear and disgust. The five of you all looked up at Fluffy who stood there. Suddenly, it growled and barked. Harry opened the trap door.
"Jump! Come on!" Harry yelled as Hermione jumped first followed by Ron and soon Harry jumped. You let out a scream as you were separated from them. Fluffy in front of you.
"Potter, your sister!" Malfoy yelled who was about to jump but it seems like Harry didn't hear and they were panicking down there.
"Oh! Fuck it!" Malfoy cursed running to you as he grabbing you by the wrist before Fluffy could do anything.
"Stupefy!" Malfoy yelled as it blast Fluffy back making him more angry
"Jump!"
You did as told and soon Malfoy jumped with you the trap door closing itself. You closed your eyes landing on something.
"Y/n!" Harry crawls to you but something grabbed him and then suddenly you recognized this plant.
"Its a Devil Snare! Stop moving, it will only kill you faster!" You warned as everyone did as you told them.
"Kill you faster!?" Ron said in disbelief
"Just relax!" You said
"What—" You suddenly were sucked below
"I finally remember! Do as Y/n's says!" Hermione said.
"If I die! I'm blaming it on you, Potter!" Malfoy yelled and he did as you instructed as he was sucked below falling on his butt. He looked up to see your hand there but he didn't take it and stood up on his own. Soon Harry fell
"Harry!" Ron yelled
"Oh god— Ron! Relax!" Hermione said
"How can I possibly relax!?" Ron yelled back
"Think...think...I remember! Devil Snare hates sunlight!" You took out your wand but then froze.
"Shit! I forgot the spell!" You said panicking which didn't help Ron at all. Right now, his screams were muffled
"Lumos Solem!" You heard beside you as a light shot out of Malfoy's wand. The Snare shrieks and recoils. Ron falling to the ground
"Ahh!" Ron yelled
"Are you okay?" Hermione asked helping Ron up.
"Yeah.." Ron said standing up. Looking at Malfoy.
"I'm not a monster" Malfoy rolled his eyes.
"Luckily, we didn't die" Ron said looking away from Malfoy
"Luckily, Y/n and Malfoy pay attention to Herbology" Harry stated
"Ron" You called out before any of you could continue walking
"What do you say?" You glared at him
"You aren't my mother—"
"What do you say!?" You asked loudly earning a sigh from Ron "Thank you...Malfoy" Ron said in a hushed voice
"Sorry, I cant hear you" Malfoy smirked
"I said Thank you, Malfoy" Ron said loudly again
"Satisfied, you git?" You glared at Malfoy
"Very"
Suddenly, a sound came.
"What is that?" Hermione asked confused
"It sounds like wings" Harry said all of you walked forward. The door opening to see a bunch of golden birds? Also seeing a broomstick
"Birds?" You asked confused
"Not birds. Keys" Malfoy pointed out
"Here I thought, you payed attention to Transfiguration, Potter" Malfoy smirked at you "Oh shove it" You glared at him
"Alohomora!" You heard Ron said but the other door doesn't open.
"You need to find the key" Malfoy pointed out
"As much as I hate to admit it, Malfoy's right" Hermione said looking at Harry. You walked up to the door.
"Jarvis, analyze it for me" You whispered
"Who is she talking to—" Ron was cut off
"Analyzing lock" Jarvis said through the earpiece. "An old fashioned rusty key is what you need, Ms. Stark"
"We need an old fashioned rusty key" You said looking at Harry "There! One of has a broken wing!" Hermione pointed out earning Harry to look. Harry looks at the broom
"What's wrong, Potter? Scared?" Malfoy asked smirking.
"Its to simple" Harry said
"Oh, go on, Harry! If Snape can catch it on that old broomstick, you can! You're the youngest seeker in a century!" Ron said trying to put confidence in Harry. Harry got onto the broom as he pushed off the ground soaring up to the sky.
"Go Harry!" You cheered him on smiling. Not seeing or noticing the look Malfoy was giving you. Just as how fast he started. He finished it faster. Catching the key before throwing it to Hermione who then inserted the key to the lock, twisting it earning the door to open.
"Its open!" Hermione yelled
"Lets go!" Ron said as all of you rushed through the door. Harry running and getting in as the door slammed shut. Entering a dark room with some broken pieces around.
"Where are we? A graveyard?" Malfoy asked but you can see that he was kind a scared but you were more scared then he was. You hate the dark. The forbidden forest says so as well. You gulped and Malfoy noticed it.
He sighed walked close to you, holding your hand, hiding it inside his jacket so the other three wont see. You looked at Malfoy mouthing a 'Thank you' which he didn't say anything more then nod.
"Its no graveyard. Its a chessboard" Ron said walking forward making the flames lit up, giving light to the dark room. Showing the giant chess pieces. Once the room was lit up, You let go of Malfoys hand.
You hated the feeling inside you that was missing the warmth and comfort his hand brings.
All of you walked forward to the door. Only for one of the pawns to draw out its sword stopping all of you. You flinched at this glaring at the pawn.
"What do we do?" Hermione asked
"It's obvious, isn't it? We've got to play our way across the room. All right. Harry, you take the Bishop's square. Hermione, you'll be the Queen's side castle. As for me, I'll be a knight" Ron instructed
"What about us?" You asked
"If anything happens. You two need to go back and tell Dumbledore" Harry said and you nodded at this backing up standing beside Malfoy.
"This is bloody insane" You heard him whisper beside you
"I never expected my first time at school to end up like this" You said sitting down as you watch the three play chest. Malfoy raises a brow and sits beside you
"You didn't go to a muggle school?" Malfoy asked
"No, My Father is a genius. He thought me everything I needed to know" You answered
"Father?"
"Adoptive father" You corrected
"Remember the times. I spoke to myself" You asked
"Yeah, you do it everyday. You even did it awhile ago" Malfoy rolled his eyes at this
"I'm actually talking to an AI" You said
"A what?"
"Artificial Intelligence. Like a robot but with no physical features. I talk to him through here" You said going to your right ear and pressing a button showing an earpiece
"Muggles are weird" He said not liking the idea of this
"You, wizards are just old fashioned" You shrugged
"You know Malfoy. I hate to admit it but your not so bad after all" You said smirking at him as he gave you a smug grin.
"You too, Potter" Malfoy said
SMASH!
You and Malfoy looked at the game to see Rom flying off his horse, landing on the floor then going unconscious.
"Ronald!" You yelled running to Ron and placing his head on your lap
"We'll take care of Ron. The two of you go!" You said looking up to Hermione and Harry.
"But—"
"No buts Hermione. We went through this far and each test is from each teacher. We still haven't gone through Snape's. He needs you in logic, Hermione. Go!" You said to them
"Get to the owlery! Tell Dumbledore!" Harry yelled running out the door. You looked at Ron who was still unconscious
"Help me!" You said looking up at Malfoy.
Malfoy didn't want to but you were glaring hard at him. So he took the other side of Ron and had Ron's arms around his shoulder.
"We need to get to the owlery. Fast!" You said as you both carried Ron away from here.
