George's ears flicked and back and forth as he sat on the couch, content as he was curled up comfortably, feeling all nice and snug as he shuffled around.
He was currently regressed comfortably as a cat, it was clear by the way that he had his ears and tail out and about, letting his tail curl around his own ankle thoughtlessly.
He was a cat hybrid who had the ability to hide his ears and tail, and he used that to his advantage.
He didn't exactly see the point of having his ears and tail out when he wasn't regressed so he never let his ears and tail roam about whenever he didn't have a good reason to.
Usually, he would be with one of his loves whenever he was regressed, preferring to have someone around in case he slipped into non-verbal mannerisms, but Sapnap was already out for groceries and Dream was up in his room editing, so neither was really an option.
He knew that he could get away with distracting Dream from editing for a few hours, besides his fans were used to the mostly unpredictable uploading schedule, but he was practically glued to the couch with how sleepy he was.
The soft fabric of Sapnap's panda hoodie acts as a type of blanket for George's body, practically being swallowed by the fabric. And Dream's hoodie that he stole, acting as if it was a pillow.
It was all nice and peaceful, proof being the way that George was on the brink of sleep, before he heard the sound of footsteps coming towards him.
George already had fairly good hearing when he wasn't in his 'cat form', but when he was, everything was amplified.
"Hi babyyy!-...ohh you're regressed?"
Dream started to talk to George as if he would be able to respond, George was very obviously regressed, it was clear in the way that his tail was swaying around and his ears were flicking back and forth. But Dream always used the logic: 'never hurts to ask first', so George supposes it's a good enough reason.
His tail picks itself up from where it was hanging off of the edge of the couch and wraps itself around Dream's wrist, just gently tugging on it as a sign that he wasn't just asleep.
"Alrighty then kitty, wanna go to my room and hang out on the bed?"
Dream asked, gently patting George butt as he loomed over the smaller man, patiently waiting for an answer while trying to pick George up regardless.
He knew that George always got whiny whenever he would end up sleeping on the couch because of the way his legs would cramp, so what was the point of trying to reason with him? Besides, George would just be too lazy to move on his own.
Thankfully, he didn't put up that much of a fight to Dream's offer, letting Dream him pick up and getting spun around like a little ragdoll before eventually being carried off to Dream's bedroom like he was promised, only getting his head gently slammed into the door as Dream walked up to it.
"I'm sorry kitty!"
Dream sat contently on the bed as he lazily pet George's ears, happy with the way that it seemed like this was gonna be a quiet day instead of when George would be bouncing off the walls (Literally, it was very hard to get him off of the roof.)
Time passed quietly as he texted Sapnap, only annoying George a little bit by the sound of tapping fingers.

Dream giggled to himself as he finally put down his phone and gently shook George awake, feeling his heart grow ten times in size when he heard the quiet whine come from George as he was sorta rudely interrupted from his nap.
"How about we take a shower kitty?"
When Dream said 'we', he mostly meant George because Dream had already taken a shower earlier in the day but as long as George didn't put up much of a fight then who really cared?
George hissed at Dream and gently threaded his dull nails over the expanse of the inside of Dream's arm, only to pat it as an apology and rub the top of his head against it for extra care.
"Come on you big baby, it'll only take like ten minutes,"
Dream patted George's butt as he began moving off of the bed, nearly falling flat on his face as he was on the edge of the bed and George utterly refused to even budge.
"Kitttyyyyyyy,"
If his strength wasn't gonna work, then he might as well try to charm the boy into doing basic hygiene.
"I literally won't give you headpats for like two hours,"
It was an empty threat obviously, it would be more so a punishment for Dream than George because Dream was practically obsessed with the way that George's ears would gently flick back and forth, and the way that he was so expressive with them, even if his face was absolute deadpan.
But it seemed to do the work anyhow because the next thing you know, George found himself in the bath, the lower part of him being covered by the absolute flood of bubbles in the bath.
Dream could've sworn that he only put a little bit of soap, but at this point, it looked like there were more bubbles than actual water.

"Pfft- you got water in my mouth!"
Dream complained as he dragged the loofa over George's body, standing up abruptly and spitting the remnants of it into the sink and washing the faint taste of kid's body wash out of it mouth.
As he gargled the rest of the body wash out, he heard George giggle devilishly from the tub, tail flicking back and forth as he tried to finish Dream's job for him, wanting to get out of the water as fast as possible.
He was about half-way through trying to get the lower part of his leg before he easily got way more tired than he had originally anticipated, throwing the loofa to the other end of the bath in frustration, ears pressed flat against his head and tail wrapping around his own arm.
Dream spotted the sight and was about relived and the tiniest bit scared, he knew that George got more and more moody as the bath went on, but as long as he at least complied a little bit then he supposed it would be fine.
....it was not fine.
Water, everywhere.
It was on the floor, soap suds sliding down the walls, Dream was absolutely soaked, hell even the shower curtain was dripping.
But hey, he got George clean so that was an achievement...
...yeah no it wasn't worth it, not one bit.
Especially when he himself had to mop up the bathroom, dry it with a towel, and take a shower himself and change him and George into clean clothes.

"For the love of sharks, that was so fucking hard,"
Dream moaned out as he clicked his tongue at George who only squinted his eyes and stuck his tongue out from where he was lying down at the bottom end of the bed, whereas Dream was sitting at the top of the bed, legs in a criss-cross position.
They had been sitting away from each for a while now, George being curled up in a ball and his tail angrily poking at the bottom of Dream's feet as a way to say: "I still love you but you're an idiot"
"Wonder when Sap's gonna get here, said he was gonna be here in like twen-"
"I'm home!"
"...speak of the devil,"
Unlike Dream, who took his time to get up off of his bed and get out the door, George practically sprinted out the door and dashed downstairs as if he had been starved of Sapnap for a millennia.
"I missed you too kitty!"
He could hear the way that George pleasantly purred at the statement, Dream's eyes almost rolled into the back of his head as he tried to understand what was George's plan now.
"Hi dreamyyyy,"
Sapnap smirked as he packed away some of the groceries he got into the cupboards, having to shuffle around more so than walk because a certain someone was latched onto his legs.
Dream huffed as he watched the way that George hooked onto Sapnap's calf, sticking out his tongue as he showed that he was clearly favouring Sapnap in the situation.
"Lemme guess, you got him to shower?"
Sapnap tilted his head to the side as he leaned onto the counter, idly petting George's head as he watched Dream nod his head, clearly defeated.
"Come here you big baby,"
Sapnap opens his arms up for Dream to bury himself in, though George seemed to entirely reject the idea, knocking his head into the plush of Sapnap's thigh.
Dream put the back of his hand to the top of his forehead as he collapsed into Sapnap's arms, feeling George try to push him away, pushing 'harshly' on his knee.
George is totally gonna be so embarrassed tomorrow.
