(Halloween special #1)
(Y/N's POV)
It was around midnight here in my ranger standpoint just goofing off, to be honest, and playing cards by myself. This is so boring that I could be going treat-or-treating with my two little cousins but nope boss man wanted me here so I'm here much to my displeasure.
Y/N- *Sigh*
(Radio Static)
I heard the radio come on and I picked it up.
Y/N- Ranger Y/N in post 9, you're live.
*Eyy Y/N, how's it going bro*
Y/N- *Chuckling* sup Mark, nothing much over here, just chilling in my post bored to death.
Mark- *Same here Y/N, man I cant believe bitch ass boss man wanted us two out of all people to cover tonight when he has hundreds of us to cover.*
Y/N- *Man Mark, I couldn't tell you but I guess we are good employees I guess. ...Actually, scratch that, I think he did ask so many of them but rejected him and we were his last two options so he put us in without warning.*
Mark- *I'll believe that any day, hey...speaking of which, you haven't heard anything strange where you at right?*
I stood up and went outside for a bit to check for anything that sounded suspicious but nothing strange at all, just wind and the crickets. I went back inside and got back to Mark.
Y/N- *Sorry Mark, I'm back I just went outside to check anything weird sounding but nothing over here chief. Why do you ask?*
Mark- *I asked because there have been rangers in different sections talking about some kind of creature attacking them in the night.*
That's odd, a creature? Not some kind of bear or anything normal?
Y/N- *Well, what creature do they say Mark?*
Mark- *Well, they said it kinda like a wolf creature although not really, she wears a coat and clothing just like a human does.*
Y/N- *Your joking right?*
Mark- *I wish I was making this up but that's what they legitimately said and one more thing they mentioned is that this half-wolf thing can...Speak.*
Y/N- *Oh great, a talking wolf creature.*
Mark-*I know this sounds like a bullshit story or a cheap horror movie but they said what they saw so maybe take their words with a grain of salt.*
Y/N- *Yeah, imma do that cause that sounds like a wack-ass story that is just right for Halloween but crazy any other day.*
Mark- *Laughs* Well, I gotta get back to watching so I'll talk to you later ok?
Y/N- *Sure thing Mark, see you and over and out.*
Mark- *Over and out*
*Radio click*
I sat back in my chair thinking about what Mark said about this creature who is apparently a half-wolf half-human creature. I don't believe that is true but like all urban myths, there must be online pictures of it that seem real but are totally fake.
Y/N- But...if it was real then just kill me then.
Well, speaking of kill, I'm gonna take a quick nap to pass the time. Hopefully, Mark wakes me up by blasting the radio.
Y/N- *Yawning* time for sleepy time.
I closed my eyes and let the snoozes take me.
(????'s POV)
After many nights of searching, I saw the giant building where my future mate is, I can smell her all the way up there. I climbed up there to see her and there she was, sleeping like the angel she is. Oh, how I want to take her now but I gotta wait till she is out of that post and out in the open.
????'s mind- Wait...I got an idea of how I can do just that.
I jumped down back to the ground and hid behind some bushes and was ready to call her to me.
????- You will be mine now, my beautiful mate.~
*HOWLING*
(Y/N's POV)
*HOWLING*
I woke up from my chair and felt my heart race. What was that?! Some kind of forest beast out there? I didn't want to go out there so I called Mark to tell him about it.
Y/N- This is Y/N Mark, I need to tell you something. Are you there?
*Radio Static*
What? This makes no sense. Mark would almost always answer his radio, so isn't he doing so?
Y/N- Mark, I'm not joking I really need to tell you something.
*Radio Static*
Not getting any responses from him, I'll have to investigate this myself so armed myself with a rifle. flashlight and a first aid kit just in case of an attack. I stepped out of my post with the wind blowing hard at me not making me feel better at all. I went down the stairs while looking at my surroundings with the flashlight for any movement which their none so far. Finally, I made it down and began to go in the direction I heard the howling come from. It was quiet, too quiet for my liking and I was shaking in my shoes so if that thing came here I'm dead.
Y/N- Ok Y/N, stay calm and continue forward.
*HOWLING*
That was close to me and I knew what I had to do.
Y/N- FUCK IT!
I turned around and ran back to my post but I heard something coming from behind me and it was coming fast.
*Growling*
Is that the creature they said about?!?! I DON'T KNOW AND I DON'T CARE TO KNOW IF IT GONNA KILL ME!!
I tried to run back but it eventually tackled me to the ground and I just waited till it rips me apart but for some reason, it began to sniff me.
*Sniffing*
I stood there like a statue so as not to give it a reason to kill me. It kept sniffing me and it eventually stopped and began to have its mouth close to my ear.
????- There you are...my mate.~
WAIT?! MATE?!
????- Now that I found you, at last, it's time to put you to sleep as to surprise you in our new home when you wake up. Goodnight my love.~
Y/N- *Heavy breathing* Wait!
*Pow!*
I felt a sharp pain in my head and I passed out right there.
(No POV)
(Timeskip)
Y/N moved in her sleep trying to wake up and once she did, she found herself in a cave of some sort with only lamps lighting the place. She took one and began to find a way out of here before the creature comes for her again. She explored around the caves and eventually found a path that looked like an exit but when she got there.
It lead to a bigger cave than she expected to see and it there were multiple paths at once.
Y/N- Shit, there's no direct exit here, I'll have to find it and fast before it comes back.
"How dare you try to run from me?"
I turned around and saw...the creature.
Y/N- W-w-who are you? P-p-p-please, let me go.
????- Go?! After I brought you here, took you home, and was about to get you some fresh food, you want to go back out there?! I'm not gonna let that happen, you're my mate forever and ever and we are gonna be happy together.
Y/N- No...I'm no one's mate and I don't know who you are or how you know I'm your supposed "mate".
????- I'm named Darcia and I know your mine cause the moon Goddess Diana gave me a vision of you and said that you are meant to be my mate.
Y/N- No..no I don't think that's possible, now please let me go. I'll never mention this to anyone I swear.
She then got her claws out and growled at me with those sharp teeth.
Darcia- I don't know if you have a death wish but... you are not leaving this cave and you are my mate no matter what you say. If you don't accept that then...
She got close to me and her claws near my heart.
Darcia- I'm gonna have to kill you. If I can't have you no one can. So....tell me...do you love me?
I don't want to stay here but I don't want to die this young in my life, I don't have my rifle and I don't know where I am so even if I did escape she will know her territory well and I have no chance of survival then. Feeling her claws getting closer to my skin, I put my hands up, nodded, and said...
Y/N- I..love you too...Darcia.
She got her claws out of me, her face blushed, and smiling at me.
Darcia- My mate~
She pounced at me and kissed me on the lips and she did a passionate one and not wanting to upset her already, I kissed back and we didn't stop till I tapped her due to me being out of breath.
Darcia- Oh that was beautiful my mate, I knew you would accept my love, now what's mine is yours now. I can't wait to live our days together. But now...
She picked me up bridal style and looked at me with a lustful face and whispered...
Darcia- Let's go consummate well into the night.~
I knew what she meant and that was very quick into our new relationship. I'll admit...she is beautiful and my heart was beating too but that's probably the lust talking right now. She put me down in a comfortable bed and was on top of me.
Darcia- Let's begin my mate.~
