Tubbo is a regular student while Dream is one of those people who volunteered to help at the school, just go along with it.
also corona doesn't exist for the sake of this chapter
i don't think it has any spelling errors but just check
Tubbo tapped his foot as he tried to keep himself big, the writings on the board beginning to look like gibberish instead of actual math equations.
He hated it whenever this happened, especially when he was just on the brink but couldn't get that relief of finally slipping.
He didn't wanna bother Dream too much about it but anytime he would try and find a distraction, his mind would always wander back to his phone, that was so easily accessible and do easy to hide.
It would be so easy for him to simply hide his phone and text Dream about how he wants to slip, but he just can't.
He knows that skipping one class isn't going to make his grades suddenly plummet to the ground and make him known as the family failure, but the anxiety still pools in his stomach regardless.
He huffs quietly to himself as he finally gives up on fighting a battle he was losing from the beginning, picking up his phone and texting Dream a quick message before asking the teacher if he could be excused to go to the office.
It was quite easy for him to get an excuse to go home, he didn't exactly know why but he wasn't about to question it and suddenly get it revoked.
As he walked out into the hall he could immediately hear the faint sound of footsteps slowly getting louder and louder, until eventually he saw the taller man in the flesh, feeling himself untense unconsciously.
"There you are,"
Dream bent over slightly just so that he could put his hands on his knees, catching his breath.
"Mhm.."
Tubbo mumbled as he fiddled with the bottom of his hoodie, trying to calm his slight anxiety of being caught.
"Hey hey, it's okay bubs, you just trust Dada and be a good boy okay?"
Dream soothed, pulling Tubbo closer to his chest with one hand as he slowly took Tubbo's back pack off his back with the other.
Tubbo sighed as he finally felt himself slip into littlespace properly, snuggling his head deeper into Dream's chest.
"There we go little one, now let's go to the car okay?"
Dream hummed, holding Tubbo's hand tenderly as he slung the bag over his shoulder.
The guard only nodded xer head as they walked off of the school compound, choosing ot to say anything about how the duo was leaving early.
Besides, Dream could just call the office afterwards and say that there was an emergency.
Tubbo winced slightly as Dream unlocked the car and it made that 'beep beep!' noise, not appreciating how loud it sounded.
"In we go bee,"
Dream opened the door for Tubbo, a firm hand placed against his back just so that he could walk without stumbling, he knew that he would be quite stressed after being on edge for so long so it would be best if he helped in every way.
"There we goooo, good boy! Now stay still while Dada does the seatbelt,"
Dream soothed, ruffling Tubbo's hair slightly before reaching over and grabbing the seatbelt, popping it firmly into place and throwing Tubbo a sweet smile before he closed the door and was walking over to the driver's seat.
As soon as he walked in, he carefully tossed Tubbo's bag into the back seat as he plugged his car keys in, hearing the engine roar to life.
"Dada?"
Tubbo asked shyly, voice barely above a whisper.
Ah, it's a quiet kind of Tubbo day
"Yes bee?"
Dream responded sweetly, turning his head to face Tubbo.
"C'n we go g't ice cream?"
Tubbo slurred, kicking his legs back and forth carefully, looking at Dream with his puppy dog eyes.
"Of course bee!"
Dream sighed fondly as he watched Tubbo slump into his seat, looking utterly calm and relaxed now that he had what he wanted.
"Does my baby need his paci?"
Dream caringly cupped Tubbo's face as soon as he saw the boy nod, opening his mouth slightly.
"Alrighty bee, give Dada a second,"
Dream reached over to the backseat and picked up a little bee themed back pack that was filled with Tubbo's little stuff.
He didn't usually regress in public but it was still nice to have it.
He got the paci out, holding it in front of Tubbo eyes and giggling to himself when he heard the excited gasp, the paci being painted in a light yellow colour with the face of the bee also on it.
Dream popped his lips playfully as he put the paci into Tubbo's mouth, pulling his phone out of his back pocket and giving it to Tubbo.
Dream's attention was finally turned his steering wheel as he heard Tubbo open up one of his favourite games to play when little.
And finally, they were out of there and ready for ice cream.

It didn't long for them to find an ice cream store, Tubbo's school wasn't that far away from a kindergarten so it would make sense on why it's there.
He already knew Tubbo's order by heart, a salted caramel ice cream with precisely 5 gummy bears and tons of sprinkles.
Tubbo always liked getting his ice creams in those plastic mug-like cups they would give you, it was much easier to eat from and besides, they gave you more ice cream anyway.
"Ready to go get the ice cream bee?"
"Yes Dada!"
Tubbo almost threw the phone into Dream's hand, giggling to himself when he saw the way that Dream stared at him with the; "watch it mister" look.
He loved being a good boy, he really did! But being a little bit bad was also fun.
"Let's take out your paci bee,"
Dream's heart strings were tugged on when he heard the sad whine come from Tubbo as he carefully took it out of his mouth, wiping it with a napkin so that it wouldn't be dirty when they got back into the car.
"Dada promises you'll get the paci back bee,"
Dream soothed Tubbo's anxiety as he rubbed his thumb on the back of his hand.
"Now let's goooo!"
He waited patiently in his seat for Dada to come and open up his door, bobbing his head side to side as he remembered the lofi music that came from the game.
"Out we go bee,"
Dream encouraged, unbuckling Tubbo's seatbelt and pulling him out of the car by gently linking their hands together.
Dream only kissed Tubbo lightly on the forehead before he closed the door and began walking towards the ice cream shop, letting Tubbo cling onto him like a koala.
"Go sit at...that table bee and stay like a good boy, Dada gonna get your ice cream,"
Dream rubbed Tubbo's back gently as he guided him to a table, sitting him down and giving him a small thumbs up before walking away and standing in line.
Tubbo chewed on his hoodie strings as he watched Dream do big things, feeling his headspace glaze over with the way that the ice cream shop was all pastel coloured and has stim toys on the wall.
It was one of those thingys where you could push the ball around to all sorts of different paths and twists and turns, he loved playing with it whenever he came to the store, big or little.
He zoned out as he just began to play with it, being startled when he felt a tap on his shoulder.
"Oops, sorry about that bee, buttttttt...we have ice cream!"
Dream smiled as he watched Tubbo's eyes instantly lock onto to the sweet, cold treat.
"Let's go to the car bee,"
Dream held his hand out for Tubbo to take, knowing that the boy would be non-verbal whenever he was in public.
Tubbo nodded as he was practically drooling over the treat still, grabbing Dream's hand and stumbling slightly when he was pulled up by Dream a little too harshly.
Dream giggled to himself as he whispered a quiet 'i'm sorry' to Tubbo before they walked out of the establishment, a little bell ringing in Tubbo's head as they walked out.
He unlocked the car as he pulled Tubbo to his side, so that he was practically glued onto it.
"I'll go in first and then you can sit on my lap and eat your ice cream, is that okay bee?"
Dream kissed Tubbo gently on his forehead as he felt two taps on the back of his hand, a sign that Tubbo was agreeing with what he was saying.
He opened the driver's seat first and plugged the keys in, getting Tubbo's paci that was still wrapped in the napkin and turning on the A/C.
As he opened the back seat door, he instantly slid into place and held the treat gently in his hand as he opened his arms for Tubbo to come and cuddle himself into.
And he did precisely that, he snuggled his body as far into Dream's chest as he could've, not even registering the slam of the car door.
"Open wide bee!"
Dream encouraged, making airplane noises as he trailed the given spoon to his boy's mouth, sighing fondly as he watched Tubbo bite onto the spoon, refusing to let it go.
"Come onnnn beee,"
Dream tugged on the spoon tenderly so that he could get it out of Tubbo's mouth, only feeling the grip around the spoon tighten.
Tubbo huffed as Dream had finally won the battle of getting the spoon, but his loss was short-lived as he finally got a scoop of ice cream and another scoop of ice cream and another scoop of ice cream,
Until it was all eventually gone and only a full and sleepy Tubbo laid in Dream's arms.
