I have left Canterlot and i am now on the train for Ponyville.
Y/n:(i should tell everyone that i gave up my cutie mark when i get home)
After a while i made it back to Ponyville and everyone was waiting for me at the train station.
I saw everyone in the Apple family, my girlfriends, daughter, wife and my friends.
Ember walks up to me and punches my right shoulder hard but not as hard as she usually does and then she kisses me.
Ember: I'm glad you're okay and that you're with us.
Y/n: Thanks Ember.
Ember: No need to thank me.
Y/n: Can we come to my house please? I have something to say.
We all went to my house.
Trixie Lulamoon: So, what do you have to say?
Discordia: Has this something to do with that day?
Y/n: Yeah. I gained a new form, power and weapon and i defeated Tirek with ease, but that power came at a cost.
Apple Bloom: Waddaya mean cost?
Y/n: I had to give something up, a sacrifice.
Scootaloo: What'd have to give up?
Y/n: My future cutie mark.
Moon Dancer: Does that mean...?
Y/n: Yeah, i'm never getting my cutie mark.
Minuette: Are you serious?
Y/n: Yeah, but it's okay, i've been a no mark for twenty one years or you know one thousand and twenty one years and i'm fine, it was worth it.
Twilight Sparkle: You gave up your cutie mark to save Equestria.
Y/n: Yeah, i think inorder to take take that form and wield that sword i had to have no cutie mark and i guess for the future of Equestria i shouldn't have a cutie mark.
Sweetie Belle: Well, you're still a crusader, right girls?
Apple Bloom: Ya sure are.
Scootaloo: Yeah, i mean you are a founding member and even if you weren't we'd still want you to be a crusader with us.
Y/n:*smile*Thanks girls.
Adagio Dazzle: Well we're glad that you're back safe and sound.
Sonata Dusk: Yeah we missed you.
Aria Blaze: We hope you're happy.
Y/n: I am and thank you girls.
Maud Pie: Good to see you're well.
She then kissed me on the lips.
Y/n: !
Maud Pie: That felt good.
Limestone Pie: What are you doing Maud?!
She said pulling Maud away from me.
Maud Pie: I was kissing him.
Limestone Pie: I know that!
Maud Pie: You're just mad because i kissed him first.
Limestone Pie: Wha- no.
Then i kissed Limestone.
And after that every one of my girlfriends got a kiss from me.
Y/n: Alright, i'm ready to sit on my throne.
Twilight Sparkle: We're glad.
We walk to the crystal castle that is now Twilights home talking about why it appeared and why there are eight throne arranged in a circle.
We are now in the throne room but just the seven of us with Spike asleep on his little throne.
Twilight Sparkle: Let's go through this one more time.
Rainbow Dash:*sigh*We've been over it like a million times, Twilight! We found all six keys,
Y/n defeated Tirek, and got this sweet castle! End of story!
Twilight Sparkle: Yes, but why?
Applejack: I dunno, sugarcube. Maybe it's just your new house and there ain't nothin' more to it than that.
Rarity: I must say, speaking strictly on aesthetics, there really doesn't need to be more to it. It's all simply divine!
Fluttershy: I agree with Twilight. And Rarity. And Applejack. And Rainbow Dash. And Pinkie Pie. Oh, and probably Spike.
Y/n: And i agree with Fluttershy agreeing with all of you.
We are all seated in our thrones except Twilight.
Twilight Sparkle: As princess, I've been chosen to spread the magic of friendship across Equestria. So why would the Tree of Harmony want us to sit in a castle in Ponyville? It doesn't make any sense.
When she sits down crystals form a table map of Equestria.
Then Spike wakes up.
Spike:*groan*Is that new? I like it.
Y/n: Yep.
Spike: This is incredible! It's got all of Equestria!
He says walking on the table.
Pinkie Pie: Hi, Mom and Dad!
She says looking at the miniature version of her family's rock farm and then tears fill her eyes when Spike stops on it.
Then six cutie marks and a golden clock appeared with the cutie marks rotating around the golden clock and the seven symbols start floating over a certain location.
Fluttershy: But if this is Ponyville, why are our cutie marks over there?
Twilight Sparkle: I don't know. But it seems like the map wants us to find out. The Tree, the chest, this castle, and now the map. How can we not follow it?
Rainbow Dash: Y'know what? There's a ton of room for dangerous adventure along that route. Count me in!
Applejack: Aw, shoot, I reckon you're right.
Pinkie Pie: Well, I was planning on organizing my baking sheets, but okay!
Rarity:*sigh*Very well.
Fluttershy: Um, maybe I'll just stay here with Spike.
Y/n: You may change your mind in a few seconds.
Spike: Awesome! Me and Big Mac have a huge weekend ahead of us talkin' hand ball, and... and trading hand ball cards, and arguing about hoofball stats...
Fluttershy: O-o-on second thought, m-m-maybe I'd better go with them. In case they need me.
Y/n: Called it.
Twilight Sparkle: Looks like it's time for a road trip.
Spike: Well, suit yourself. But he's got a Hock Fetlock rookie card I plan to sweet-talk right into these hot little claws.
Y/n: I've been there before.
Rainbow Dash: Really? When?
Y/n: It was the day after the day Twilight went crazy letting her fear of tardiness get the best of her.
Twilight Sparkle:*blush*You had to bring that up?
Y/n:*smile*Eheheheh.
Pinkie Pie: Glad to see that you're smiling and chuckling.
Y/n: Well anyway, that village felt...creepy.
Applejack: Creepy how?
Y/n: They were all smiling and one thing that stood out to me was that everyone had the exact same cutie mark.
Girlfriends/Spike:*gasp*
Twilight Sparkle: What was it?
Y/n: An equal sign, including this one woman, her name is Starlight Glimmer and she said that she's the leader of the village in that area.
Rainbow Dash: You look like you have a plan.
Y/n: Yeah, but it's the kind of plan that you need to play along with depending on what happens and no matter what happens i'll always be on your side.
Rarity: We're with you dear.
Y/n: Thank you.
We left Ponyville and made our way to where the map told us to go.
Twilight Sparkle: That's it! That's the place on the map!
Y/n: Yeah it is.
Rarity: Right. Let's get down there and find the spa.
Twilight Sparkle: Wait. We don't know why the map sent us here. We shouldn't just walk right in. It could be dangerous.
Rainbow Dash: Yes!
Pinkie Pie: Stay behind me, everyone! I'm on it!
Applejack: Careful, Pinkie!
Pinkie sneaks from cover to cover getting close to the village.
We follow her.
We walk through the village.
Rainbow Dash: This is where the map sent us? It looks like the most boring place in Equestria.
Applejack: It's just an ordinary village full of ordinary folk.
Rarity: It could certainly use a few more architectural flourishes. Or any architectural flourishes.
Y/n: Yeah there's nothing here that stands out.
Fluttershy: I think it's lovely.
Pinkie Pie: I don't like it. I don't like it one bit. I know smiles. And those smiles? They're just not right.
Twilight Sparkle: Forget the smiles. Look at the cutie marks.
Rainbow Dash: Okay, that's weird.
Applejack: Exactly like you said.
Y/n: Yep.
Twilight Sparkle: An entire village with the same cutie mark? How can that be?
Rainbow Dash: I bet there's some sort of horrific monster behind it.

Y/n: It would, but it probably won't happen.

???: What brings you to town?

???: I see. Well, all are welcome here in our little village. My name is Double Diamond, and this is Party Favor.
Applejack: Howdy, Double Diamond. I'm Applejack, and this here's Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle and Y/n.
Double Diamond: And you all have your own unique cutie marks.
Y/n:(except me)
Twilight Sparkle: If you don't mind, has there been any sort of... trouble here, lately?
Double Diamond: Trouble? Why, I don't think we've ever had trouble in our little village.
Party Favor: It's true. You'll see. Hm.
Double Diamond: Perhaps you'd care to speak to our founder Starlight Glimmer.
Fluttershy: I wish everyone in Equestria was as friendly as these people are.
Pinkie Pie: I've got my eye on them. Something's rotten in... whatever the name of this village is that we're in right now!
We walk into the house at the end of the village.
Double Diamond: Starlight, we have some new visitors.
Rainbow Dash: Be ready to fight. We don't know what's gonna come through that door.
Starlight Glimmer: Welcome! I'm so pleased to have you here.
Rainbow Dash:*groan*
Double Diamond: This is Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle and-
Starlight Glimmer: Y/n! So pleased that you kept your promise.
Y/n: I always do, albeit a year later.
Starlight Glimmer: Well you're here now and that's what counts.
Starlight Glimmer: Forgive my bluntness, but I'm assuming it's Princess Twilight Sparkle? We don't get many Aria's around here.
Twilight Sparkle: Yes, but "Twilight" is fine.
Starlight Glimmer: So! How did you hear of our little village?
Twilight Sparkle: It's kind of a long story. Let's just say we found it on a map.
Pinkie Pie: Technically, it's a Tree-chest- castle-map!
Starlight Glimmer: Well, however you found us, we're happy to have you! We're happy to have anypony who wants to experience true friendship for the first time.

Starlight Glimmer: Oh, indeed. That's what's so unique about our village, you see. Around here, we don't flaunt our special talents because we don't have any special talents to flaunt.
Twilight Sparkle: Is that why you all have those cutie marks?
Starlight Glimmer: Perhaps it would be easier to understand if I gave you a tour of the village!
Y/n: Here comes a song.

Starlight Glimmer: We have no judgements here in our village. Each of us was confused once as well, blinded by the false promise of our cutie marks.

Twilight Sparkle: When we were sent to this village, we assumed it was to help in some way. But, well, it doesn't seem like you need any help.
Starlight Glimmer: Have you considered perhaps that you might have been sent here so we could help you? After all, no one has ever come to our village and wanted to leave. Why should you be any different? But that is entirely your choice. Please enjoy our little corner of Equestria. We're all quite fond of it. No doubt you will be as well. Double Diamond, please help our guests with whatever they might need.
Double Diamond: Of course.
Starlight Glimmer: Well, this will certainly provide a boost to our little community. When the rest of Equestria sees that a princess gave up her cutie mark to join us, they'll finally understand what we're trying to accomplish.

Rarity:*gasp*What in the name of Equestria is that?!

Rarity threw up in her mouth.

We are now sitting down on a bench outside a muffin shop.
Fluttershy: Really, girls! They may do things a bit differently than we're used to, but that's no reason to be rude.
Rainbow Dash: No, the reason to be rude is that they all keep staring at us!
Double Diamond: Need something?
Twilight Sparkle: Uh, no! We're good! Fluttershy's right. If we're going to get to the bottom of why the map sent us here, we'll need the help of these people.
Applejack: I think we ran off to the end of Equestria before we even knew what that map was!

Twilight Sparkle: Let's all sit here and eat these muffins and act normal. I think we're being watched.

I ate all the muffins at once.

We went inside the shop and went down into the cellar.

Party Favor: Are you really the Princess of Friendship?
Night Glider: Do you know Princess Celestia?

Y/n: Long story short, i gave it up before i could even get it.
Sugar Belle: Oh, look at this one! This one's great too! I'd love to have my special talent back even just for a day! Make something besides those disgusting muffins...
Rainbow Dash: So what's stopping you? Go get your cutie marks back.
Party Favor: Daydreaming is one thing, but you mean actually having it put back on? That seems extreme.
Sugar Belle: I'm not sure Starlight would like that. She wants us all to be happy in our sameness.
Twilight Sparkle: How do you take someone's cutie mark anyway?
Night Glider: The cutie unmarking is a beautiful experience! Starlight uses the Staff of Sameness to magically take them away and replace them with these.
Twilight Sparkle: But nobody should keep you from your cutie mark. It represents such an essential part of who you are.
Night Glider: Oh, we're not kept from them. They're in the vault up in the caves. We can visit them any time we like to remind us of the heartache of a life with special talents.
Twilight Sparkle: Can we visit this cave?
Starlight Glimmer: I'm delighted you're interested in our cutie mark vault. We hope someday every in Equestria will make a pilgrimage here to our little village to have theirs removed too, and our message of perfectly equal friendship can finally spread across the land.
Twilight Sparkle: This must be the reason we're here.

We asked Starlight about the cutie marks and how people get unmarked, she took us to a cave.
Starlight Glimmer: Just through here! Behold! Our cutie mark vault!
Twilight Sparkle: I've never seen anything like it!
Starlight Glimmer: And here is the Staff of Sameness. It was one of the great Mage Meadowbrook's nine enchanted items. We are incredibly fortunate to have it here. This is the tool that allows us to free ourselves from our marks! I'm curious - how did the subject of the vault come up?
Pinkie Pie: Oh, some people were telling us how much they missed their cutie marks, and-
Twilight Sparkle: Pinkie!
Pinkie Pie: Oops...
Starlight Glimmer:*gasp*Were they? Well, it seems you inspire all sorts of free thinking, don't you?
Rarity: Well, w-we certainly didn't intend to cause any disruptions to your charming little-
Starlight Glimmer: Good. Let's just make sure of that, shall we?
She uses her staff to lift us off the ground with her staff.
Twilight Sparkle: It's a trap!
Starlight Glimmer: Aw. I don't blame you for what you tried to do here today. You've spent your whole lives thinking those marks are a good thing.
My girlfriends cutie marks are theb put in a glass display case.
Twilight Sparkle: Give them back!
Starlight Glimmer: Well, now you can spend the rest of your lives here with us! And we'll teach you just how much better life can be without your cutie marks!
She takes there cutie marks and then brings me closer to her.
Starlight Glimmer: I do regret that we were reunited under these circumstances.
Y/n: It is unfortunate.
Starlight Glimmer: Don't worry, you'll love life without a cutie mark.
She fires her magic at me but nothing happens.
Starlight Glimmer: What?! How?!
Y/n: I've been loving life without a cutie mark for twenty one years.
Starlight Glimmer: Really?
She lifts up my sleeve.
Starlight Glimmer: It's true, you're one lucky man, i would kill to be able to go through life without a cutie mark, i'm so jealous. Lock the girls away, i'm bringing you back to my house.
Girlfriends: Y/n!!!!!!
Y/n: It's okay girls, don't worry.
She takes me to her house and i'm still floating in the air.
She puts her hand on my chest.
Starlight Glimmer: I bet your life was hard growing up without a cutie mark, kids picking on you, bullying you just because you don't have a cutie mark, do you see what i'm saying, such negativity coming from those who have cutie marks, do you understand? If Equestria was more like this village you would've had a better life.
Y/n: Maybe, maybe not. But it is nice to be empathized with.
She lets go.
Starlight Glimmer: You should join me, together we can make Equestria equal, so what do you say?
Y/n: That does sound nice, sure i'll join you.
