Y/n POV
"Ariana I'm leaving" I shouted from the bottom of the stairs
It wasn't long before she came running down
"I thought you said you didn't have to work today since no one is at the office anyways" she said
"I don't, but I'm going to this lunch date that you basically set me up on" I said
"Ooooh yea.. I forgot" she said with a smile
"Yea well I'm off" I said
"Okay, have fun" she smiled
"Thanks. What are you gonna while I'm gone?" I asked
"Umm" she thought for a moment
"Maybe I'll try to write a song" she said
"Okay, good luck" I smiled
"Thank you" she smiled back
I began to walk to the front door
"Wait" she said quickly
"Hm?" I hummed as I turned around
"Bye" she said as she kissed my cheek
"Bye" I said with a light laugh
With that, I walked out of the front door and made my way to my car.

As soon as I reached the restaurant that Kendall picked, I parked my car and gathered myself to go in. I'm honestly kind of nervous, I mean it's Kendall Jenner for crying out loud
I walked into the restaurant to be greeted by a host
"Hi are you ready to be seated?" She asked
I glanced at her name tag and it read Brooke
"I'm actually mee-" I started but was cut off
"Y/n!" Kendall cheered as she was just walking in too
The host scrambled a bit before speaking up
"Hello Ms. Jenner. Right this way" Brooke said
"Thank you" Kendall said as she motioned for me to follow them
I did as told and we were taken to a back room
"Privacy just like you requested" Brooke said
"Thank you so much, I really do appreciate it" Kendall smiled her
Brooke couldn't help but to smile back. A cheesy smile at that. It was a cute cheesy smile though so she made it work
Kendall and I both sat down, across from each other might I mention
"Can I start you two off with drinks?" Brooke asked
I gestured to Kendall telling her she could go first
"I'll just have a lemon water please" Kendall said
I watched as Brooke's pen wrote it down on her notepad
"And I'll have a sprite" I smiled
"Gotcha" Brooke said writing it down
"I'll have those out in just a few minutes" she smiled
"No rush" Kendall smiled at her
With that, Brooke walked away and left Kendall and I to talk
"I was surprised to see your text" Kendall spoke up
"You were?" I asked
She nodded before she spoke
"I was starting to think I wouldn't receive one. It's been what, a month?" She asked
I nodded
"A month and I still haven't heard from you. It's almost as if once you sold Ariana Grande that house you thought you were too cool for me" she joked
"Me too cool for you?" I asked with a scoff
She smiled
"Please. You're too cool for me" I added
That caused her to laugh
"I'll never be to cool for a hot shot real estate agent like you" she smiled
That caused me to smile back
"Now what really made you want to have lunch with me?" She asked
Just as I was about to speak, Brooke came back with our drinks
"Here you are" she said as she set down Kendall's first and then mine
"Are you two ready to order?" She asked
Kendall looked at me for assurance and I nodded
"Go ahead" I told Kendall
"I'll just have a chicken salad" Kendall smiled
Brooke nodded as she wrote it down then looked at me
"I'll have a chefs salad" I said
"Alrighty" Brooke said writing mine down
As she soon excused herself to put our orders in
"You can tell how nervous she is" Kendall pointed out with a gentle laugh
"I don't blame her" I said
"What do you mean?" She asked
"I don't know if you know this but... you're Kendall Jenner" I whispered her name
She gasped
"Wait, I am!?" She played along
"I think so" I smiled
We both started laughing
"I'm so glad we went over this... I was starting to think I was Kim" she joked
"Good thing we cleared up any confusion you might have been feeling" I continued
We soon got our food and began eating and talking about ourselves in order to get to know each other better
"What made you get into real estate or was it something you wanted to do since you were little?" She asked me
"I actually wanted to be a doctor" I started
She nodded telling me she's listening
"But science was never my best subject and you need a lot of science classes to be a doctor. I would basically be setting myself up for failure" I said
She gave be a sympathetic look
"I began to do some research to find where I wanted to go after high school and that's when I realized that you don't need to go to college to be a real estate agent" I continued
"You didn't go to college?" She asked
"No, I did" I laughed
"Oh wow I'm intrigued. Continue" she said
"I started taking the real estate course online right when I turned eighteen so I could just start my career but then my dad advised me to take a real estate college course and and business course so I can have my own company one day. That's pretty much it.. I took the exam, passed, and I started off as an assistant for Aaron" I finished
"Are you still hoping to have your own company one day?" She asked
"I don't know. I like where I'm at now. I make good money, I have flexible hours. What more could I want?" I asked
"Right" she agreed
"Well how did you get into modeling?" I asked
She finished chewing before she spoke
"I think that's pretty self explanatory" she said with her hand covering her mouth
"I want to hear it from your side though" I said
She smiled
"Well obviously my parents are very well known and so are my sisters so I knew I had to do something to make my mom money" she started
I nodded telling her to continue
"I got into modeling when Khloé told me that I had the perfect body for it.. keep in mind I was like fourteen when she told me though" she said
I nodded
"It just kind of kicked off from there. Vogue wanted me on the cover, my mom said yes, I got older and was able to do Victoria Secret. I got my fame because of who my parents are" she said
I didn't try and give her a sympathetic smile or anything because it's pretty obvious that she's not proud of it
"Well I think you're doing great. You're very successful, young, beautiful, must I add more?" I asked
That caused her to smile
"Please go on" she joked
That caused both of us to laugh
"Thank you" she smiled at me
I smiled back with a nod

"Thank you for agreeing to come to lunch with me... despite the well over due invite" I smiled
"Thank you for inviting me" she smiled back
I walked her to her car and opened her door for her
"Thank you" she said
I nodded
"I hope you'll text me sooner next time" she added
"I definitely will" I said
"I mean it. I would like to do this again" she said
"I will. I promise" I said
"Good" she replied
"I'll see you soon" she said flashing me a smile
"See you" I replied with the same smile
With that, she started her car and drove away. After she was out of the parking lot, I walked to my car and got ready to go home.
The drive home wouldn't take me long so I just put some music on and headed home. I began to pull into my driveway after twenty minutes of driving. I sat in my car for a few minutes enjoying the cool air that the AC was giving out. I knew I couldn't stay in here forever so I gathered my things and began walking to the front door
"Oh hey, you're home" Ariana said as I walked through door and she was on the couch watching a movie
"I'm home. How did the song writing go?" I asked
She showed me a page in her notebook with some lyrics written down
"That's great!" I smiled
"How was lunch?" She asked
"It was good. We just talked and got to know each other" I said
She nodded with a smile
"Oh, Dakota dropped by" she said
I have her a confused look
"I told him I was busy today" I said with a confused expression
She shrugged before she spoke
"I don't know, he just said he wanted to spend time with you and then when I told him you weren't here he said 'of course' don't know what that means but he left right after that" she said
I shook my head
"Are you gonna call him?" Ariana asked
"Should I?" I asked
"I would" she replied
I nodded
"Have you heard from Dalton?" I asked
"Nope" she said popping the p
"I'm sure he's just really busy selling houses and shit" I replied
"Yea" she shrugged
I can tell that she felt bad because he wasn't calling her or really texting her for that matter. I know she misses him and he just doesn't seem to be taking that into consideration
"I'll be right back" I said
"Okay" she replied
I began to walk upstairs to call Dakota
"Y/n!" He picked up right away
"Dakota!" I replied with the same energy
"What's up?" He asked
"I just thought I'd give you a call since Ariana said that you stopped by" I said
"Yea I just wanted to see if you wanted to go do something" he said
"But I told you I had plans with a friend today" I replied
"I know, but I thought maybe you would cancel them to hang out with me" he said sounding hopeful
"Well I guess you thought wrong" I said with a laugh signifying that I was joking
"Wow" he said
My smile soon faded
"What? Dakota I was only joking" I said
"That was a pretty shitty joke" he said
"What?" I asked
"You've been acting like a bitch lately" he said plainly
"Excuse me?" I asked
"You heard me. You've been blowing me off, you spend all your time with Ariana, now you're hanging out with other big celebrities. You just keep blowing me off. It's like I don't even matter to you" he said getting angry
"Dakota, my whole life doesn't revolve around you. Ariana needs me right now because your brother is not calling her or texting her and if he is, it's bullshit responses" I said firing back
"Don't drag Dalton into this. At lease he's actually doing his fucking job instead of staying home" he said
"Fuck you Dakota. Maybe if you payed attention to what I say you would know that there's only three of us in office" I said getting more mad
"Whatever y/n, all I hear are exc-" he began
I didn't let him finish his sentence before I hung up on him. I threw my phone behind me on the bed and took a deep breath as I sat at the edge.
I heard a light, gentle knock on the door causing me look towards it
"Everything okay?" Ariana asked coming in slightly
"Yea, everything is fine" I lied with a smile
"Are you lying?" She asked as she walked over to me and took a seat at the edge of the bed as well
"Yup" I said with a smile
That caused Ariana to giggle
"Men" Ariana said with an eye roll
Now it was my turn to laugh
Ariana let out a sigh as she laid on her back. I soon copied her and now we were laying side by side to each other
"Have you tried to call Dalton?" I asked
"Yea, I just did" she said
"And?" I asked
"He answered just long enough to tell me he was busy and then hung up" she said with pursed lips
"I'm sorry" I said turning my head to look at her
"It's not your fault" she replied as she turned her head to look at me as well
Our faces were inches from each other. She was so close I could smell the mint on her breath
"Men" I rolled my eyes like she did before
She smiled
"Your bed is a lot comfier than the one in the guest room" she suddenly spoke
"Really? I had no idea. I can get that replaced for you" I said
"Please do not. I'll only be here until Dalton comes back" she said
"Yea but if my guest isn't comfortable, then what kind of person am I?" I asked
"It's alright y/n" she said
There was a short silence
"It's alright" she said as she placed her hand on my cheek and began rubbing it with her thumb
By now my cheeks are probably flushed as my heart is beating uncontrollably.
Ariana then propped herself up to lay her head on her hand as she was still stroking my cheek. I couldn't help but to look at her lips. She did the same.
"Ariana" I said in a whisper trying to put a stop to this
"Hm?" She hummed as she slowly began to lean in
"We should go downstairs" I said
"We should" she agreed
She leaned the last little bit and connected our lips in a sweet, innocent kiss. It took me a second to realize what was going in before I actually kissed back.
Again, the kiss was sweet and innocent. There was no hunger or desire in it. Our lips just gently danced with each other. We held this innocent kiss for about a minute before Ariana climbed on top of me. The kiss then began to get more heated as I laid my hand on her waist
"We shouldn't be doing this" she said as she quickly disconnected the kiss
"I know" I replied
We continued though. Ariana began kissing my neck, sucking on it every so slightly
"Ow" I hissed as she bit down just below my ear
"You're fine" she said as began to slightly suck
I swiftly flipped us over so I was now hovering over her and began kissing her neck. I slightly bit down causing her to hiss right back
"You're fine" I said right back
We continued kissing for a few more minutes, until were then interrupted by a phone ringing. We both pulled away quickly like we have just been caught as Ariana took her phone out
"It's Dalton" she said as she sat up
Her lips were swollen and her lip gloss was smeared
"Take it" I said sitting up
She nodded and answered
"Hey Dalton" she smiled even though he couldn't see it
I watched as she walked out of the room and went to the guest room she's staying in.
Once she closed the door to her bedroom I stood up and straightened my clothes before walking to the bathroom in my room. I looked in the mirror to see Ariana's lip gloss smeared on my face and my neck. I also couldn't help but to draw attention to the two slightly red bruises forming on my neck
"Shit" I whispered to myself as I touched them
I cleaned the lipgloss off of my cheeks, lips, and neck and realization struck over me and I began thinking about Dakota
"Shit, shit, shit" I said
