This chapter has age regression 💕
the next three (or four since this chapter is in two parts) chapters are probably gonna be their ideas since i liked them so much
also i wrote this when i was sleep-deprived and i am too sleepy right now to edit it properly, so if you see any spelling errors, just tell me :]
quick note: there's a bit of self hate in this chapter, so just be wary of that darlings <3
Sapnap hugged the stuffie to his chest as his nails clawed at it, he just had to regress when Dream and George were home.
He couldn't just wait until they were recording, or until they were at least streaming but nooo he had to regress when both of them had free time and were wanting to cuddle.
He didn't even know how he regressed, it just happened. He wasn't sure if it was the peace, the comfiness he felt in Dream's hoodie or the way that George had kissed him on the cheek.
But if he hadn't been such a baby and stayed big, he wouldn't be in this mess.
George and Dream would be able to love their normal boyfriend who acted his own age, but no, they got the failure boyfriend who acted like a two year old.
He couldn't understand it, why couldn't he just be big? He had done it before when he felt Dream's or George's footsteps walk towards his room, he had put away his bunny stuffie and paci in record time.
But even the simple thought of putting away his stuffies made a new horrible feeling in his chest, resulting in more tears.
He was trying to get his breathing under control, he was sucking and biting on his paci and practically ripping his poor stuffie's chest apart but that just made his breathing even worse.
Come on...just be big
Sapnap tried to convince himself, trying to put the stuffie to the side of him so that he could actually try and regain some of the control he has over his head but it was like the stuffie was permanently glued in his hands.
He tried to put it down, he really did! He tried being the brave big boy that he was and put it down, but he just couldn't.
Maybe he wasn't a brave big boy...

"Hey babe! Sapnap's been in his room all day, d'you know why?"
George asked, perfectly oblivious to what Sapnap was going through.
His back was propped up against the part of the couch that you were supposed to lay your arm on, phone slipping through his loose grip.
"I don't know actually...maybe he's still asleep? It is only 3 PM,"
Dream said while putting some salt in the boiling pot of water, he had already made the steak so now he just needed to make the mashed potatoes.
"Yeah probably, but we should wake him up, you know how whiny he gets when he's hungry,"
George sighed, vivid memories of Sapnap clinging to Dream and biting George playing through his head.
"You go ahead and do that, with how long it takes to just wake him up, I'll probably be done with lunch by then,"
Dream joked, leaning onto the counter and dramatically wiping his forehead as if there would be any sweat. The author has no idea how long it takes to make mashed potatoes, so just vibe with that.
George got off the couch and began to trudge towards Sapnap's room upstairs, but not before dipping into the kitchen just to give Dream a kiss.
George hummed to himself as he walked up the stairs, hand loosely holding the railing since Dream had been so demanding on him and Sapnap being safe.
As he approached Sapnap's door, he instantly realized that something was off.
The door was left slightly open, Sapnap wasn't a secretive person by any means but he did enjoy his alone time where he could just do whatever he wanted.
George's eyebrow quirked up as well as his ears, hearing some sniffling and weak gasps from behind the door.
He froze, what could Sapnap be doing?
The gasps were much too loud, so he couldn't be jerking off so that was already a relief.
Maybe he was watching a sad movie and he was crying? Sapnap had never been that much of a fan for heart-wrenching films preferring to stay on the side of movies with happy endings, but George wouldn't be that surprised if he saw Sapnap trying it out.
George tried to calm down the little bit of anxiety pooling in his stomach, hand gripping the door knob as if he was going to open it but he couldn't find the strength in himself to actually push it open.
His chest heaved as he finally took one last breath, opening the door gently as he looked around in the dark room.
"Sapnappp?"
George called out, going to flip the light switch so that he could see Sapnap better, all he could really see was a silhouette.
The sight he saw was almost too much to handle.
It was Sapnap...but his eyes were blood red with tears still spilling down his face, a paci was being bitten and chewed between his lips, and a poor bunny stuffie was being scratched at.
"Baby?"
George whispered, hands going from being at his waist to trying to reach out and hold Sapnap, but he froze completely, tears stopping for just a second.
George wasn't exactly weirded out, just mostly confused. He hadn't seen any of this stuff before in their house so it was a wonder on when Sapnap would've bought it.
He's heard about stuff like this before, where someone would regress into the mental state of a younger age, he thinks it's a coping mechanism of some kind.
He just wonders why Sapnap would hide it from him.
"It's okay..baby, nothing's wrong,"
George hesitantly said, internally cringing at the way that his voice wavered.
He knew that 'littles' were very sensitive and bubbly, but Sapnap just looked sensitive right now.
George took a step towards Sapnap cautiously, not wanting to scare him or send him into a panic, but luckily he didn't react.
And George wasn't sure whether or not the imagined the way that Sapnap leaned forward slightly.
"Can I sit here baby?"
George pointed to the edge of the bed, watching as Sapnap's eyes tiredly travelled from looking at him to the bed and back to him.
He nodded shallowly and that was all that George needed for reassurance, he sat down and reached out for one for Sapnap's hand, encasing it with his own.
"...'m sorry..."
Sapnap choked out, hugging the stuffie closer to his chest.
George sat confused for a second, brows furrowed until it finally clicked.
"Don't worry baby, I'm not mad! I just need to clean up your face a little okay?"
George asked, thumb rubbing over Sapnap's skin comfortingly as his other hand went to cup his face.
The way that Sapnap leaned into George's touch was all he needed.
He started gently wiping away any of the tear trails that marked Sapnap's skin, feeling Sapnap squeeze his hand from time to time.
"Does that feel better baby?"
George asked as he finally got the horrid tear tracks off of Sapnap's face, feeling the little boy nod against his hand.
"Can I kiss you over here?"
George poked Sapnap's cheek teasingly, feeling a warm gooey feeling on his chest when he saw the way that Sapnap eagerly nodded.
George leaned forward and very lightly kissed Sapnap's cheek, letting his lips linger on his skin for a little so that he could hear the endearing giggles that he loved so much.
George soon pulled away, but didn't stop the way that his thumb rubbed over the back of Sapnap's hand.
They sat in silence as Sapnap finally calmed himself down, feeling a good fog collect in his mind, a contrast to the horrible fog that had controlled him earlier.
It had taken about ten minutes for Sapnap to even reach a coherent train of thought.
"T-..thank you Georgie,"
Sapnap stuttered out, realizing that his words didn't hold as much weight as he thought to himself so he squeezed George's hand a few times just to make sure that he got the message.
"Don't worry about it sweetie, you're little right now aren't you?"
George readjusted how he was sitting on the bed, now facing Sapnap with his crossed legs.
"Mhm, me real small like baby ish small,"
Sapnap babbled, petting his bunny's head. George hummed as he nodded thoughtfully, biting his bottom lip gently.
"Food?"
Sapnap asked, voice hushed as if he was whispering, paci falling into his lap.
"Yes baby, I think Dream would have the food ready by now..."
George trailed off, seeing the paci lay in Sapnap's lap.
"...I think someone needs his paci back hm?"
George giggled, gently picking up the paci and admiring it as if it was a great historical piece. It was a bright orange colour with a little panda painted on it, little glittery beads stuck on it.
Sapnap nodded and opened his mouth, hands being occupied with brushing the pads of his fingers on his soft bunny.
George easily plopped the paci into his mouth, easing it in and wiping his hand on his clothes when he was done.
"Time for foodd!"
George cooed, testing the waters by raising his voice for more enthusiasm, smiling when he saw that Sapnap reacted positively.
He helped Sapnap onto his feet, steadying him when he saw the way that he almost fell over.
George was basically like a little service dog for Sapnap the whole time he was helping him walk around, just a service dog that could speak English and give kisses.
Now to tell Dream about this...
