Y/n POV
"You know, I really hate you" Dalton said as I was packing my stuff up
"Why?" I asked
"Because your dumb ass name didn't get picked and mine did and now I have to stay later for all these extra meetings while you get you go home" he said really fast
That caused me to laugh
"It's not funny" he said
"It kind of is" I smiled teasingly
"Fuck you, go home" he flipped me off
"Bye dalton love youuuu" I sang
"Bye, I love you too asshole" he pouted
I sent him one final wave before walking out of my office and heading for the stairs
As soon as I made it out of the main lobby door, I walked to my car and got in immediately. I really just wanted to go home and relax. Before I started driving, I connected my phone to the Bluetooth and played some music
As I was humming along to some SZA, the music is cut off by my phone suddenly ringing
"Hey, Ariana" I said as I answered
"Heyyyy y/n, what are you doing tonight?" She asked
I debated on lying so that way she wouldn't ask if I can come over
"And don't lie, I know when you're lying" she said
Was she reading my mind or something
"Probably nothing. I was just going to go home and relax with Rocky" I replied
"Well, would you and Rocky like to come over for a game night with me, Victoria, Courtney, Doug, Aaron, and the other dogs?" She asked
I thought about for a moment longer.. maybe a little too long because Ariana spoke again
"Please, we would love to have you. Dalton said he's working late" she added
"Okay, I'm in, but I'll have to ask rocky to see if he's in as well" I joked
"Tell him that I'll give him a big kiss if he comes" she said
"Will do, we should be over in thirty minutes... that is if he says yes" I laughed
"Okay, see you soon" she said
"See you soon" I replied

As I park my car in Ariana's driveway right next her Tesla, I look over at rocky to see him already looking at me
"You be respectful okay" I told him
All he did was pant with his tongue out
"Like you even care to understand me" I said more out loud
I grabbed his leash and we stepped out of my car. We soon reached Ariana's front door, so I brought my hand to fist in order to knock
Soon, the door opened only to reveal Victoria
"Ariana, y/n and a very handsome boy are here" Vic said looking down at rocky with the biggest smile
Ariana appeared right behind Victoria with a smile on her face
"My handsome boy to be exact" Ariana said as she took Rocky's leash from me
I followed Ariana into her house as she led Rocky to her kitchen where she had a bowl of water waiting for him
"Here you go, only the finest water for the goodest of good boys" she pet his head as she was kneeling down
"And you" she smiled at me as she stood back up
"Come here" she pulled me into a hug
"How are you?" She asked into my neck
Honestly, Ariana and I haven't seen each other since she spent the night at mine when her and Dalton were fighting
"I'm good" I smiled even though she couldn't see it
I soon felt her let go
"And you?" I asked
"I'm good" she smiled
I nodded
"So let me tell you what we're doing tonight" she said
"Give it to me" I said as I was prepared for what she would tell me
"Oh I will" she winked jokingly
I laughed
"We're playing games and watching movies tonight. Dalton had told me that he wouldn't be home until really late and even then, he said he's going to sleep the second he comes home" Ariana explained
"He did seem pretty tired this morning" I said
"That's because I kept him up all night" Ariana winked
My eyes went wide
"Kidding" she giggled
I released a breath of air
"Or am I?" She asked as she looked over her shoulder
That left me dumbfounded
"Doug, did you find the game?" Ariana asked him
"I did, it's right here" he said
"Oh hey, I'm Aaron" he turned his attention towards me
"I think we've met?" I questioned
"Have we?" He asked
"Probably" I shrugged
"Nice to meet you anyways" he laughed
"Nice to meet you" I laughed as well
"Okay, should we get started?" Victoria asked
"Yea" Ariana and I said at the same time
We looked at each other with a smile before we laughed a little
"Wow really Doug, scrabble?" Courtney asked
"I like it" he said
"It's fine. Should we do teams?" Ariana asked
"Yea" Victoria said
"We already know your going to pick y/n, so I choose Victoria" Courtney said
"Well if y/n doesn't mind" Ariana said
"I don't" I smiled at her
"Ew, I'm stuck with Aaron?" Dough asked
"Rude" he said
That caused all of us to laugh at them
"Okay, let's play" Ariana said

"What?" I asked
"You and Ariana are definitely cheating" Courtney said
"I don't really think you can cheat at scrabble" I said
"You can if you use google to look up words" Aaron said
"Uh oh, you caught us" Ariana said sarcastically
I just had to laugh
"So, where's that new boyfriend of yours y/n?" Courtney asked
"Oh he's in San Diego" I said
"He is? Dalton didn't mention that. What is he doing there?" Ariana asked
"He has a client to tattoo out there" I replied
Everyone nodded
"He's hella talented. Do you have anything done by him?" Aaron asked
"No, not yet at least" I said
"What would you get?" Doug asked
"Not sure yet. I haven't really thought about it that much" I replied
"Well when you do, make sure you don't get something stupid" Victoria laughed
I nodded agreeing with her
"Well, how does Dakota treat you?" Aaron asked
"Really good. He's such a good guy, especially since I've known him since... well forever, it made it easier for us to date" I said
"That's so cute" Victoria said
"They're really cute from what I've seen" Ariana said
I sent her a gentle smile
"Does he know that you're bi?" Courtney asked
"Yea, I actually came out to him before I came out to anyone else, including Dalton and he was super supportive" I explained
I watched Aaron put his hand over his heart in a touching manner
"I bet he fantasizes about a threesome" Courtney blurted
"Oh my god Court!" Ariana exclaimed with a snort
"Oh... I said that out loud?" She asked
We all nodded as Victoria sighed
"I'll wait for you" Victoria whispered
"Victoria!" Ariana scolded
"What?" She asked
"You're literally having a baby" Ariana pointed out
"And what about it?" Victoria asked her

"Speaking of, y/n, how do you feel about kids?" Victoria asked me
"I love kids, I love babies" I said
"See there we go" Courtney said
"I don't really think y/n wants to play stepmommy" Ariana said
"I meannn" I pursed my lips
That caused everyone to laugh, including me
"And she's funny" Aaron pointed out
"She's just a comedian" Ariana smiled at me
I looked over and smiled back. I think we both forgot where we were for a second, because we just kept smiling at each other until someone cleared their throat
"Should we get back to the game?" Doug asked
We all nodded
"Dakota is a really lucky guy" Ariana finally said
"He really is" Victoria and Courtney said at the exact same time
I sent one last gentle smile before we continued the game.
