"I hope you're not mad at me" Ariana said as I was carrying a box
I looked at her confused as I set the box down
"Why would I be mad?" I asked
"I'm literally stealing your best friend to move in with me" she pouted
I waved her off
"It was bound to happen some day, plus, you don't even live that far now. What? A ten minute drive? That's fine" I said
"But before you two lived like five minutes away from each other. I feel terrible" she said
I shrugged her off
"I think that's all" Dalton said as he came in with his final box
"Alright" I said
Ariana smiled
"This is so exciting" Ariana said breaking the small silence
I turned my head to look down at her
"Now we have to move you in" she said as she looked at me with a straight face
I just had to laugh
"Why are you laughing?" She asked
"Because you're funny" I said as I continued to laugh
"How?" She asked
"I like my house" I said
I watched as she thought for a moment
"You know, i have yet to see your house" she said
"You've seen mine" I fired back
She shook her head no
"I don't think I have" she said
"I think you have" I replied
"Nope" she said popping the p
"Well, then, I'll take you one day" I said
"Good" she nodded
That caused Dalton to laugh
"So kids, what else is there to do?" Dalton asked as he sat on Ariana's couch.. well I guess it's his couch now too
"Not a damn thing, I'm going home" I said walking to the door
"No" Ariana said a little too quickly as she grabbed my arm
I looked at her with wide eyes
"I mean, no" she said again
"I'm tired" I said
"You can take a nap here" she said
I laughed before I spoke
"What's the point of staying if I'm just going to sleep?" I asked
"You're going to take a nap here, then we're gonna do something" she said
I thought for a moment
"I don't really want to third wheel" I said with pursed lips
Just then, Dalton shot up
"Invite Dakota" he chimed in
"What if he's-" I was cut off by Dalton
"He said he's free later" Dalton smiled
"Wow" I said
"What?" He asked
"That's was quick as fuck" I laughed
He shrugged cockily
"Now go take your small nap" Ariana said as she gently grabbed mr wrist
"It's fine, I'm not even tired anymore" I said
"Well I am" Dalton said flopping down on the couch
"Baby, go to the bed" Ariana told him
"I don't want to leave you by yourself" he pouted
I scoffed
"Sorry, I meant I don't wanna leave you with a boring person" he teased
I rolled my eyes at him
"We'll be fine" she said
"Are you sure?" He asked
She nodded
"Wake me up when you're ready to go" he said
"I will" she replied
I watched as Daltons stood up from the couch and wrapped his arms around Ariana. They shared a quick, sweet kiss before he began walking up the stairs
"Oh, and y/n" he said from the top of the stairs
"Yea?" I asked
"Don't bore her" joked
"Man, shut the fuck up" I laughed
He cackled all the way to the bedroom. Once he was out of sight Ariana turned to me
"Wanna play Mario kart?" She asked with a smirk on her face
"Only if you're okay with losing" I smirked back
She scoffed
"I'm undefeated" she said as she walked over to her tv and turned on her Nintendo switch
"We'll see" I said as I took a seat on the couch
"I guess we will, Russo. I guess we will" she fired back

"Okay, no more, you're an asshole" Ariana told me
"What? How?" I laughed
"You're supposed to let me win" she pouted
"That's not how it works" I laughed
"Yes it is" she said with a serious face
I looked at her and gave her a "bitch really" look and that's when she started laughing
"Accept the fact that you lost" I shrugged
"Fine, but I'll get you back" she said
"We'll see" I said cockily
She lightly shoved me. As I was sitting back up, my phone pinged. I grabbed my phone from the arm of the couch and saw that it was Dakota

"Who is it?" Ariana asked
"Dakota" I said
"Shit already? Should we wake Dalton up?" She asked
"Yea" I nodded
She nodded back and stood up. I watch as she disappeared to one of the bedrooms upstairs. As soon as she left, the doorbell rang
I stood up from my seat and walked over the the front door to reveal Dakota
"Hey" I smiled
"Hey" he smiled
I pulled him into a hug after he walked in
"Where's Mr. Grande?" He asked
I laughed
"Ariana went to go wake him up" I said
He looked at me confused
"He was taking a nap" I explained
"Of course" he snickered
I nodded with a laugh
"Where are we going?" He asked
"I have no clue" I said
"Let's go to the club" Ariana said
I turned around and saw her walking down the stairs with Dalton closely behind
"The club?" I asked
"Why not?" She asked
"I haven't been to one in so long" I admitted
"Same" Dakota added
"Perfect, then we're going" Ariana said
"I'm down" Dalton said
"Fuck it" I said
"Yea, fuck it" Dakota said

"Come dance with me" Ariana said to me
We were all sitting in a vip area so no one would bother us. I had my drink sitting on the table with my hand covering it so no one creepy would try to slip something in it
"Please?" Ariana asked as blaring music started to fill the room
Dakota looked at us as he was talking to Dalton
"Go, I'll watch your drink" he smiled
"Are you sure?" I asked
"One hundred percent" he said
I nodded and stood up. Soon, Ariana took my hand in hers and we walked to the dance floor
"I actually don't know how to dance" Ariana said
"I guess that makes two of us" I laughed
"Shut up, you know how to dance" she laughed
"Not to this wild party music" I replied with a smile
"Just dance like a white girl" she said
That caused me to laugh. I looked around and saw girls throwing their hands up in the air as they moved around. Ariana soon started to copy their movements as I did the same
Once the song ended, another one started playing, but it wasn't a club song, it was like a slow dance song
"Alright, if you have someone to dance with tonight, dance with them" the dj said
Ariana looked at Dalton, telling him to come. Once he took notice, he stood up and came cover to her. Dakota looked at me with a smile so I waved him over. He pointed to my drink and i told him to just leave it
Soon, Dalton and Ariana were slow dancing to the song
"I thought you wanted me to watch your drink?" He asked
"I'll just get a new one" I smiled
He nodded as I wrapped my arms around his neck and his hands went to my waist
"Do you remember how to slow dance?" I asked
"Obviously" he said
"I wouldn't be too sure. You haven't danced since high school" I laughed
"Shut up" he laughed back
We gently swayed back and forth to the music
"Dalton looks really in love" Dakota spoke up
"He does" I smiled as I looked at Dalton
"Good for him. I'm happy for him" Dakota said looking at me
"Me too" I said looking at him back
"What about you?" I asked him
"What about me?" He asked back
"When are you going to fall in love?" I asked jokingly
That caused him to chuckle
"When the girl I've been trying to get at finally realizes" he said
My eye widened
"Wait, you like someone? Who? Tell me. You've never told me. Oh my god, you better tell me " I started
He looked unsure
"Pleaseee" I said
"I wouldn't want it to mess anything up" he said
I looked at him confused
"Do I know her?" I asked
He nodded
"Well, I think, you should be bold... just tell her" I said
"No way" he replied
"Why? We only live once. You could die tomorrow and you would carry around that feeling that you never told her" I said
"How? I'll be dead, I won't feel anything" he laughed
"You're dead conscious would know" I fired back
That caused him to laugh again before he let out a breath of air
"I'm gonna dip you okay?" He asked
"Okay" I smiled
Dakota swiftly dipped me. His hand was at the lower part of my back
"I always wanted to do that" I said honestly
He laughed
"Are you sober?" He asked
"Sober enough, why?" I asked
"It's you" he said
"Whats me?" I asked
"I like you" he blurted out
I didn't say anything, nor did I show any reaction, I wanted him to finish first
"Go on" I replied
"It's always been you. Well, maybe not always.. you know what I mean" he laughed
You can tell her was nervous. I mean, the kid is basically sweating bullets
"But since I was able to understand feelings, I knew I liked you" he said
"Why didn't you saying anything?" I asked
"I don't know.. maybe because I don't want to mess anything up between us? The fear of rejection? Dalton?" He said
"Dalton can't do anything. It's not his business" I said honestly
"I need to know y/n" he said before he took a pause
I knew what was coming
"Do you feel the same?" He asked
I honestly didn't know. I don't know how I feel about Dakota. I just got out of a relationship with harry.
Sure, Dakota has always taken care of me and been there for me, but did I really want to be with him like that? He looked at me with pleading eyes. Like he knows I'm going to say no
"Dakota" I said
I took a second to think
"I just got out of a relationship" I started
"I get-" I cut him off
"But, I'm willing to try with you. Let's just- let's take things slow. I don't want to rush anything, let alone hurt you or end up hurting each other in general" I said
He nodded
"Also, let's not tell Dalton yet" I said
"I agree" he replied
"So taking things slow?" I asked
"Taking things slow" he repeated with a nod
At this point, the song was finished, so we hugged each other tightly and walked back to the VIP section
"That song was cute" Ariana said as she sat by me
"It was" I smiled at her
"Super cute" Dakota smiled at me
