Dark and uncertain times are ahead, as the evil organization known as the Remnants of Despair are taking over various territories and have already an army that can fight the national guard. The police are having an extremely difficult time keeping the peace as citizens are in panic and the government has not been doing much action to tackle the organization. One officer named Y/N L/N has been working tirelessly day and night to help tackle the situation but lately, he has been feeling that his work has done nothing remotely close to progress and feels like he should...leave but one staff member is the reason why he stays and she is there for any trouble he faces. But what happens when this staff member is more than meets the eye?
(Y/N's POV)
I was yawing from all of this paperwork I got to deal with and the fact that crime rates have gone up has not been helping in the slightest. I lay back for a full minute till I heard knocking on my door.
*Knock Knock*
Y/N- Come in.
The door opened to see a good face around here.
Y/N- Ahh Hello Ms.Mukuro.
Mukuro- Why good afternoon, officer Y/N. What's the matter?
Y/N- Oh you know, nothing but shitty paperwork and stuff.
Mukuro- Well, I don't admire your job but I sure know that it's neverending work when not in the field.
Y/N- Yeah, say Mukuro....do you know anything about the-
*Beep*
I heard my walkie-talkie beep and I responded to the call.
Y/N- Officer Y/N, what seems to be the problem?
"We need all available officers now, we have the location of one of the Remnants of despairs warehouses and could have led to their leader. We need you on squad crew 14 right now. Over and out."
Y/N- Roger that, over and out.
I got up from my desk to put on my jacket, my tools, and my radio then headed out the door.
Mukuro- Be careful out there, you....may never know what will happen out there.
Y/N- Thank you, I'll be careful. Take care.
I went to the car and got ready to go to the warehouse location and this may be the chance to make some good changes around here.
Y/N's mind-Its now or never.
(Mukuro's POV)
I waited till almost everyone was not present in the building and once I heard the clear signs, I went through Y/N's files and I was correct about my suspicions. He has vital information on the warehouses we have and the fact he has done this all by himself is amazing. He is talented at gathering information and this has helped me make our next moves more effective. I must say, he would be an excellent addition to the organization, in fact...I think he will be the new member.~
Mukuro- Y/N, you just saved your own life you know that.
At first, when I decided to spy in this police station, I was going to have you killed like the rest of the officers but then as time passed on, I see that you weren't like the other officers as in you have the perfect blend of...despair and hope. That is an extremely rare trait that no other person I met and with time I should bend that trait to whatever I seek fit. Perfect, after I gather all of the documents, I exited out of the window and landed on the ground after some trash bags broke my fall. I got out my phone to let them know whats going on.
Mukuro- It's me.
"Any progress?"
Mukuro- I already have the vital documents, so my work here is done. I'm coming back to headquarters.
"That's good, but what are we going to do with the cops coming in into our warehouse?"
Mukuro- Just like before, eliminate them but leave one behind.
"Which one do you mean?"
I sent a picture of Y/N to make sure they don't shoot the new member.
"Oh, so that's the cop you've been mentioning lately."
Mukuro- Yes, now let everyone know about him and instruct them to only knock him unconscious before you start the bloodbath.
"Will do."
Mukuro- I'll call when I get back. Over and out.
"Over and out."
*Beep*
I hung up and got inside my car to get over there, everything is going to turn out wonderful as usual, and now...
Mukuro's mind- We shall welcome Y/N L/N as well.~
(No POV)
The police arrived and quickly surrounded the area, then armored officers stood front and center with their guns ready for a fight.
Cop 5- THIS IS THE POLICE, WE HAVE THE BUILDING COMPLETELY SURROUNDED! YOU HAVE NOWHERE TO RUN, SO COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP OR WE WILL FIRE! I REPEAT, WE WILL FIRE YOU IF YOU DON'T COMPLY!
They waited and waited but nothing has happened, it was rather eerily even. The chief decided to send in a handful of officers to investigate and one of them was Y/N. Y/N and the rest went inside the building and it was pitch black with the only lights were the portable flashlights, the team split up so Y/N took the north area and began his search. He was looking around for any movement, but he has this gut feeling that he is not alone here, and it's not a friend that's for sure. He stopped for a minute to check in with the others...
Y/N- Come in, this is Y/N, I don't see anything suspicious. This site is clear on my end...over.
"Copy that Officer Y/N. Keep searching the premise...over"
Y/N- Understood, over and out.
Then he continued on but this time he heard a noise coming from above but he flashed his light on the roof and nothing was there. The noises kept going and Y/N was nervous all of a sudden about who or what was making these noises. He kept focus but this intense feeling was getting stronger by the minute, just as he was about to radio in he felt a strong force hit his head so hard that he fell to the floor with blurry vision. He couldn't get up and his mouth was gagged with some kind of cloth that smelled funny, he began to pass out. This mysterious kidnapper took Y/N out of the warehouse and radioed someone to...
"Shoot them down."
That all was needed to have a ton of despair soldiers arrive at the warehouse and began to...
*Shooting* *Screaming*
Invite death over and he needs one hell of a cleanup crew for this one.

(Y/N's POV)
I woke up tied up to a chair and the room I was in was so cold, dark and it showed signs of...use before. The stains all over the walls and floor are not making me feel any better. I was attempting to break out of the chair but I heard the door open and whoever opened it was revealed and I already was feeling dread and fear.
I recognized her, she is Junko Enoshima. I heard many reports and rumors that she is the leader of this whole organization. If that's the case then......OH, GOD!
Junko- Why Hello Y/N or officer Y/N, glad to see you woke up just in time for the orientation.
Y/N- W-what?
Junko- The orientation, since you are going to be here now. This is your new home and workplace.
Y/N- No...no no no no. Oh god no!
Junko- Yep! Come, let's go and meet your new "team members", they are just dying to meet you.
She untied me but only to handcuff me and grabbed my arm dragging me the whole way.
Junko- You know Y/N, a little bird told me all about you, and I gotta say, so far you are a person with the rare trait of hope and despair. This may seem like nothing now but trust me this will come to be one of the most powerful skills on earth. With this skill, we can basically take over the world and rule with the power of...despair.
I couldn't believe this, I don't know why this is happening to me, my life has been taken from me. They have me by the stings now and I'm too powerless to cut the strings.
Junko- And we are here, and it seems like everyone is here. Perfect. Hey everyone!
They stopped and looked in our direction, with red eyes and wide smiles.
Junko- This is our newest member you all have heard about, please welcome...Y/N L/N!
They clapped and Junko was close to me which made my body tense up as I don't know at any moment I might be dead.
Junko- Well, Y/N needs time to settle in, you all will have a chance with him some other time. Now, bye now.
She turned me around and we walked all the way to an office of sorts and when we entered in, I saw a familiar face and I felt betrayed.
Y/N- Mukuro?!?
Mukuro- Yes Y/N, it's good to see you again.
Junko- Yeah it is, she's the one who has been spying on the police station all this time and was the little bird who told me about you.
Y/N- But.....why?!
Mukuro- In the grand scheme of things, it was all for business but within time, I felt a connection with you Y/N so that's why I stayed a little while longer.
My world was destroyed at that moment, the one person who I thought I could rely on as part of this all along. Now I can't trust anyone now, but they will not let me go that's for sure. I'm forever trapped in this and I don't see anywhere out, so now I....have become one of them.
Y/N's mind- But I will still keep a little hope with me, they won't break my mind. I won't let them.
Junko/Mukuro- Now Y/N, let's began our conquest for...despair.~
