Y/n POV
As dalton and I are leaving work, his eyes light up, almost like he remembered something
"What?" I asked walking into the elevator
"Ariana and I are celebrating our one month tonight with a dinner. Would you like to come?" He asked
"I don't really think your girlfriend will want me at your one month celebration" I laughed
"No, like all her friends are going" he said as we walked out of the elevator
"Bye, kels" I said quickly to Kelly before we walked out of the building
She sent me a quick wave with a smile
"Oh, then in that case. Yes" I said
"Perfect. Sorry I'm barely telling you now. I was supposed to tell you yesterday when you got back from your lunch with her, but it totally slipped my mind" he said
"She didn't say anything" I said
"That's because I was supposed to ask" he replied
I nodded
"Cool, so I'll drop you off at your house so you can get ready, then meet us at the restaurant?" He asked
"Sounds good" I replied
He nodded as he pulled out of the parking spot he was in
"Wait, what restaurant?" I asked
"Saddle ranch" he said
"Ew" I said
"Don't like their food?" He asked
"It's not that, just all those tik tok kids eat there" I said
"That's what Ariana said" he replied with a laugh
"No way" I laughed back
He nodded while cracking up
"That's too funny" I said as I turned the radio up
"Wait, how are you and Ariana already at a month? Didn't you start dating like two seconds ago?" I asked
He took a second to meet my eyes and I saw a guilty look run across his eyes
"Well, we were kinda dating secretly for two weeks" he said
"Ah, that makes sense" I said
"You're not mad?" He asked
"No, I am, but it's already said and done" I shrugged
"True. I'm sorry though" he apologized
"It's all good" I nodded

I pull into the parking lot of saddle ranch. Already I see tons of paparazzi just waiting to sneak a picture of someone
"Excuse me" I said trying get through
"Sorry, y/n" the Hollywood fix guy apologizes
"You're all good" I shoot him a smile
"Hi, what can I do for you?" A host asks
"Reservations under the name Dalton Gomez" I smile
"Right this way" he smiled back
I followed closely behind him. We were weaving in and out of people before we made it to the table
"Here you are" he said
"Thank you, I appreciate it" I smile
He nodded before he left
I walked closer to the table and that's when Ariana looked up from her phone
"You came!!" She cheered as she stood up to hug me
"I did" I smiled as I hugged her
"Come sit" she said
She brought me to a seat that was across from her as Dalton was sitting right next to her
"Everyone, this is y/n, y/n this is my brother Frankie, his boyfriend hale, Doug, and you already met Victoria and Courtney" she smiled as she pointed to everyone
"Nice to meet you all, good to see you again, girls"
I smiled at them
Victoria was sitting on my left as Courtney sat next to her, Frankie was sitting on my right
"You're a realtor as well?" Frankie asked
"Yea" I smiled looking at him
"That's cool, hale and I have been meaning to look for a house" Frankie said
"I'd be happy to help" I smiled
"You know, I'm a realtor too" Dalton said
"I know" Frankie teased
That caused us all to laugh
"Same here, I could use some help" doug said
"Of course" I smiled
"I like her" Frankie told Ariana
"She's quite charming" Ariana winked at me
"Uh hello, feeling left out here" Dalton said
"Awe, I'm sorry" Ariana said as she went to go kiss his cheek but he backed away
"Not here" he whispered, but I'm sure everyone heard
All she did was nod while looking at her hands. I shot her a sympathetic smile when she finally looked back up
"Oh my god!" Victoria exclaimed
My head immediately snapped to her
"Are you okay?" I asked genuinely concerned
"Yea, the baby just kicked me" she said placing her hand over her baby bump
"Does she do that a lot?" Ariana asks
"Sometimes. Mainly while I lay on my back" she explained
"You know if you lay on your side it should relieve some of the pressure and make you and the baby happy" I explained
"Really?" She asked
I nodded
"I need to give it a try" she said
"Yea, I hear it helps" I smiled
"How do you know?" Ariana asked as she sounded genuinely interested
"My friend Elizabeth is a ob-gyn" I smiled
"What the hell is that?" Courtney asked
"A doctor that specializes in women's reproductive systems and all that. So like a gynecologist just specializes in the women's reproductive system, ob-gyn's not only do that, but they deliver babies and all that" I explained
"Wow, really?" Ariana asked
"Yea" I nodded
"Y/n was going to be one" dalton said
"What changed?" Hale asked
"The blood, I couldn't handle the blood" I said honestly
"I wouldn't be able to either" doug said
"Yea" I nodded

We all finished eating not that long ago, now we're just talking and getting to know each other
"I don't know if this is a sensitive topic, but we heard about your recent break up" Frankie spoke up
I looked up from my plate at him
"We're really sorry. Dating someone for three years is a long time, and for it to end must be hard" hale added
I turned my head slightly and saw Ariana looking at me sympathetically
"It's okay, I'm okay" I smiled
I then looked at dalton and he has soft eyes
"I mean yea, I was sad at first, but I had help from dalton, his family, and my family of course
It's okay" I smiled
Everyone nodded
"But you're on the market?" Victoria asked
"Vic" Ariana scolded
She put her hands up in a surrender
"You have a whole baby daddy" Courtney laughed
"Doesn't mean we'll stay together" vic shrugged
"I'm telling him you said that" Ariana laughed
"It was joke" Vic laughed
"Yea, I'm sure it was" doug teased
"So are you... on the market?" Courtney asked
"Yea, i am" I laughed
I watched as Ariana rolled her eyes at her friends
"We should exchange numbers" Courtney said
I nodded as I heard Dalton laugh
"What?" Ariana asked him
"It's just like high school all over again" he laughed
I shook my head with a laugh
"Can I take your number?" Frankie asked
Ariana's eyes went wide
"What? She's a realtor" Frankie said
"Mhm" Ariana hummed
"Ari, babe, I'm so gay" Frankie laughed
That caused all of us to laugh
I took Courtney's phone and put my number in, then I did the same with Frankie, then Victoria, then doug, then finally hale
"Wow, miss popular" Ariana joked
I dusted fake dust off my shoulder as we held eye contact, which was soon interrupted when dalton cleared his throat
"All right, well with the night coming to an end soon, I would like to make a toast" he said standing up
we all nodded
"I know we probably sound like middle schoolers, but it's a big deal to be able to even make it to two weeks with me. I'm not easy to date, so here's to one month" dalton said raising his glass
"To one month" everyone said as they raised their glasses
We all clinked our glasses together and took a sip. I watched as Dalton quickly pecked Ariana's cheek after he looked around to make sure no one was looking
"One more?" She asked
"Later" he smiled gently
I mentally shook my head at him
"To one month" Ariana smiled at me
I can tell it was a fake smile though
