But suddenly...
"BAM!"
Fundy spun around, he swore that he felt the air slap him across the face at the pure speed that he did.
There they were... the loves of his life...
...in dresses.. whatever their attire doesn't matter anyway.
He couldn't help but stare, his mind instantly tuning out the way that Wilbur shouted profanities at either him or his loves, he didn't exactly care either way.
He immediately felt himself be trapped in some kind of blanket, it wasn't exactly threatening or nerve-wracking, it was comforting and hospitable.
"Hello there, idiots of all kind! We're here for our sweetheart and don't give any fucks about what you think!"
Dream chanted, smiling and moving his hands around for extra effect.
Fundy couldn't help the tears that swelled into his eyes and the way that his legs shook under the sudden crushing weight that was lifted off of his shoulders.
He was so used to holding the burden on his shoulders, letting it gather onto his body and weigh him down to his knees.
But now he could finally breathe, finally feel fresh air fill his lungs instead of saddened and polluted air.
"Come here love,"
Fundy was snapped out of his daze when he heard George's taffy sweet voice cut through the air, piercing and loud but at the same time addicting.
He held his arms out, and how could Fundy deny George such a small pleasure.
It wasn't as if Dream was being left out, he was simply busy flipping off the entire crowd.
(Except for the man in the orange and black mask, wonder if they were friends)
Fundy immediately began to walk, no run, towards them, splitting smile beaming across his face as he felt Dream's arms engulf him.
His arms wrapped around him like the perfect wrapping paper, beautiful and perfect, he almost didn't want to leave.
Gently, he felt himself be picked up in bridal style, he could feel George's hand on his shoulder, as if protecting him.
"Adios Fuckheads!"
Dream threw up his middle finger into the air, on display for anyone who dared to look.
Running wasn't something new to Fundy's life, but he never felt so ecstatic to be running.
Running away from Wilbur.
Running away from the toxic life.
Running away from everything he once knew.
But he would rather be here with his lovers and nothing else...instead of having everything but them.
Exhaustion weighs down on him, the sudden heavy weight of his eyelids dawning on him as he finally feels himself be laid down in the back of a car.
"Go to sleep darling, we've got it all planned out,"
He heard Dream's voice say, his words were sickeningly sweet.
He passed out by the time that the car engine started.

"How long has he been passed out?"
"Should we be concerned?"
"It's been a long day, he's bound to be tired."
"Wilbur doesn't know or care where we are, and he's wayyy too lazy to try and get Fundy back. So we don't need to worry about that, for now."
Fundy whined as he heard the amount of noise going around, humming contentedly when he suddenly heard it go silent again.
He noted that the fabric under him was more so comfier than a backseat, so he was probably in a bedroom.

"Hey there sweetheart, how was the nap?"
Dream cooed, Fundy cracked his eyes open and noticed that Dream was now out of his fancy attire and now into his iconic plain white shirt with a pitch black smiley face on it, George wearing a black oversized hoodie that was all too familiar.
"That...that did not actually just happen,"
Fundy gasped out, adrenaline pumping throughout his veins as a face-splitting grin was put on display.
His eyes opened and were staring up at the wooden ceiling dreamily, a small haze clouding his mind as he lived in his perfect fantasy world of being forever away from the stress of his family.
"It did baby, you're never going to be with him ever again,"
George smiled, Fundy's energy contagious as he also began to get overwhelmed by the same boiling, bubbling happiness.
"Wait.. wouldn't he come looking for me, he could easily just come and find us through the police or something,"
Fundy's grin melted off of his face in an instant, boiling happiness evaporating into the air as he was taken over by a familiar anxiety.
Though, Dream and George didn't seem all too bothered by it, even so... they looked even happier that Fundy had pointed it out.
"Well you see... we're getting a restraining order against him. The court date is set, we just need to get if official!"
Dream smirked, pride settling in his chest contentedly as he watched the fearsome expression on Fundy's face drift into a settlement of pure amazement and satisfaction.
"Oh my fucking god, you're not lying right.. no jokes?"
Fundy's voice lowered as he slowly feared that they may have been toying with his emotions, surely they wouldn't be that cruel.
"Nope! The bastard's gone!"
"None at all baby, he's fucking dead to us anyway,"
Fundy choked on his tears which had accumulated in his eyes, throat closing up.
"Fucking hug me you idiots,"
Fundy wasn't expecting an immediate response, it being Dream calmly climbing onto the bed and lying down next to Fundy and wrapping his arms around his waist...
...while George simply jumped onto Fundy's tummy and curled himself happily into a small ball.
"You're now trapped in my grasp, don't try to escape because i want cuddles,"
Fundy pouted, pulling George closer to his lips so he could kiss the top of his head and then went to go kiss Dream full on the lips.
"Hey! I want a lip kiss!"
George pouted, uncurling himself and now lying down on his stomach, facing Fundy.
"Fineee, you big baby,"
Fundy relented, leaning forward and linked his lips with George's softer ones, another thing he always envied about his smaller lover.
Happy... what a sweet word to finally live through.
Not disaster, catastrophe or trauma.
Just...happy, he loves it.
