After what Usopp said, Luffy had shown his full anger in his eyes to Usopp.
Sanji: "Oi, Usopp. Don't say stupid stuff like that."
Usopp: "No, I'm serious. I've been thinking about this for a while."
(Y/N): "What are you saying?" he tries to take things serious but needs a cup a tea.
Usopp: "To be honest, I've been thinking that I can't keep up with your monstrous strength. Like today... I can't even watch over the money. I'll just keep causing you guys trouble."
He stands up and walks up near the crew.
Usopp: "You don't need weak friends, right? Luffy... you're the man who'll be King of the Pirates. But I don't have to go that high up. Thinking back, when I was about ti sail out, you guys asked me to join you."
He remembers the first time they met, and the time he was their crewmate, their friend.
Usopp: "That's all that's tying is together. We don't have to travel together when we have different of opinion!"
Sanji: "Oi, where are you going Usopp?!" he asked.
Usopp: "Where I'm going is my own business. It has nothing to do with you guys anymore. I'm... leaving the gang."
Then the door slowly closed as Nami, Sanji, and Chopper tried to get to him. But the door closed on them.
Chopper: "Usopp..." he teared up.
Nami: "Oh, no... Oi! What're you doing, Luffy?! Is it okay to let him go like this?!"
(Y/N): "Stop. Let him decide..."
They waited as they waited for an answer from their captain.

Now it was duel between Luffy and Usopp.
They both stared at each other and accepting the duel. They waited until night. Luffy was on a hammock where Nami was complaining, but the captain wanted to be alone. Sanji and Zoro were having an argument, nothing out the usual. (Y/N) who was just watching the two argue. But they were asked to stop.
Nami: "There's been enough fighting."
(Y/N): "She's right. We don't need to make thing worst than what happened."
Chopper came back.
Chopper: "I wanted to continue treating his wounds, but he turned me away. *sits next to (Y/N)* He got a place to stay in town. He said... He said, "You and I are no longer friends, so back to the ship!" *cries*"
(Y/N): "There, there..." he pets the reindeer.
The gang is falling apart. Robin missing, and Usopp leaving.

Now they stand distance from each other ready to start the fight.
Luffy: "You guys, don't leave the ship. Got that?!"
The wind flew through their hair and Usopp stands where he was.
Luffy: "So you didn't get cold feet, huh? You'd better be sure you're not going to regret this, no matter what happens. This is the duel you wanted." he warned Usopp.
Usopp: "Of course. You'd better fight seriously. I'll turn the tables on you. I've figured out how to defeat you."
The crew were watching as Chopper was concerned for Usopp's condition.
Chopper: "Can't we stop them? Usopp is wounded quite badly!"
Zoro: "If you can't bear to watch this, go inside."
(Y/N): "It won't make any difference. He'll refuse your medical opinions."
Usopp: "Don't lump me in with your past enemies who didn't know your skills. Luffy... We've known each other for a long time. I know about your powers very well. Don't be surprised when you hear this, Luffy. I HAVE 8,000 MEN UNDER ME! IF YOU DON'T WANNA DIE, SURRENDER NOW!"
Chopper: "EH?! 8,000?! THAT MANY?!"
(Y/N): "You should head inside." he told the reindeer.
Luffy: "You don't have any subordinates. I know that much!"
Usopp: "USOPP SPELL! YOU'VE GOT RAZORS STUCK BETWEEN ALL YOUR TEETH!" he yelled out.
Chopper: "AH! It hurts just to imagine that!"
Zoro: "Go inside."
Usopp was going to yell out another spell but stops hearing Luffy's footsteps getting closer.
Luffy: "Gomu-Gomu No... PISTOL!"
But before the captain could launch his attack, Usopp cover his mouth and a red liquid gets puked out. Nami and Chopper were afraid, but Usopp planned it all.
Usopp: "Special Attack... Ketchup Star! What? Are you sympathizing with your enemy? What confidence...! Flash Dial!" he lets out a giant light making Luffy's vision blank.
Usopp got out of Luffy's position and pulled out his slingshot.
Usopp: "Special Attack! Egg Star!" he repeatedly kept sling eggs at Luffy.
Luffy: "It stinks! They're rotten! Dammit! You jerk! Be serious!"
Usopp: "Is this silly? I'm very serious, Luffy!"
Luffy: "What?" he gets confused.
Usopp: "THIS IS MY WAY OF FIGHTING! Hey, if you open your mouth that big, you'll have a burn!"
He slings his star and Luffy gulps it. He became made and turned red.
Usopp: "Special Attack! Tabasco Star!"
Luffy: "IT'S HOOOOT!!" he yelled out along with flames escaping his mouth.
Usopp: "Watch out when you wriggle! Beneath your feet, it's already Caltrop Hell!"
Luffy yells in pain. Usopp was controlling the fight really well against Luffy, he knows Luffy too well, reads him like a book.
Usopp: "Listen, Luffy! I'll defeat you without fail and take the Merry... NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!"
Nami: "Usopp..."
Usopp: "Special Attack! Pepper Star!" he slings to make Luffy fall and place his hand on a caltrop.
The pepper made it difficult to see and breathe making fall and land on a caltrop each time. Usopp did told him that he would not use attacks that wouldn't work on his powers of rubber. Luffy manage to stand and not fall on another caltrop, the rotten makes him stink, his mouth is burning from the tabasco, it made him hurt.
Usopp: "I won't give you even the slightest chance to attack! Special Attack! Shuriken Shooting Stars!"
Luffy was trying his best to avoid the shurikens and the field of caltrop at the same time. Usopp kept slinging more shurikens at the rubber man. Luffy managed to get out of the caltrop field to dodge better. They were both exhausted. That's when Luffy hears something and notice the area around him changed.
Luffy: "Smoke?" he turns to see a dial doing the work.
Usopp: "I'm using a Breath Dial. You didn't notice the smell because of the eggs, did you? The smell of the gas that's filling the area around you...!"
Sanji: "Gas?"
Nami: "Don't tell me...!"
(Y/N): "He's actually doing it..."
Usopp: "Sorry! Take this! Flame Star!"
The explosion was huge and powerful, that it even made the water turned to waves and created chunks of stone flying and dropping into the sea. This moves the Merry a bit.
Nami: "LUFFY! USOPP!"
Then in area we're the two. Luffy was still living and lying on the ground from the explosion he took, he was still thinking his first time meeting Usopp. The speech he gave out, lying about how he was a pirate. Usopp was sitting having his back against a rock, he started to think about Luffy's arrival at his village. The time he laughed about him lying and being a clown, when he told him they were friends. Now they both thought of the adventures they've had. The laughs.
The crew were still on the Merry, (Y/N) notice that the Merry not only got splashed by a bunch of water, but sees, or what he saw was unnatural.
(Y/N): "We're sorry... Merry..."
Nami: "I can't stand this." see looks at the crew falling apart.
Chopper: "LUFFY! USOPP!" he cried out their names.
Usopp gets back on his two feet and looked at the smoke.
Usopp: "I know... that an attack like that wouldn't take you out. I know, Luffy... that you fight every battle with all your strength. I know every detail of your skills!" he pulled his slingshot to prepare an attack.
Luffy comes running out the smoke to land a hit on Usopp.
Usopp: "Special Attack...!"
Luffy: "Gomu-Gomi No... GATLING!"
Usopp: "Bursting Cactus Star!"
It landed on Luffy's fist making it activate.
Usopp: "Triple Exploding Stars!" he slings but misses and exploded the rocks behind Luffy.
Usopp wasn't playing around and took another three out to sling. He kept sling exploding stars at the captain as he was trying to avoid taking more damage.
Luffy: "Gomu-Gomu No... PISTOL!" he punched Usopp making him slide across floor bouncing.
Luffy stretch both arms behind him and starts running at Usopp again.
Luffy: "Gomu-Gomu No... BAZOOKA!"
But what Luffy didn't know, is that Usopp was prepared for the fight. He used a dial to take all the impact from Luffy's attack. Then, Usopp went ahead and give back all the impact to Luffy.
Usopp: "Impact!" he launches Luffy back making him spew blood out.
Chopper cried at the sight and Nami saw that Usopp was using an Impcat Dial. But it the dial also did damage to the sniper's arm.
Usopp: "HOW'D YOU LIKE THAT?! DAMMIT!"
But Luffy wasn't going to give up easily. He landed on the ground on his feet, he looks at Usopp with anger. All the memories he had with his friend, when he joined, painted the Straw Hat logo, the laugh and joy.
Luffy: "Gomu-Gomu No... BULLET!"
Usopp puked out red liquid, but this time, it was real blood. The crew can only watch the show and do nothing, Chopper cried out the sniper's name, but his eyes were rolled up, pure white. Then he fell to the ground, then rolled to the side.
(Y/N): "The fight, is over..."
Luffy sits down and few breaths holding his right arm.
Luffy: "You fool...! THERE'S NO WAY THAT YOU COULD DEFEAT ME, IS THERE?!" he shouts at Usopp.
He gets back up and turned around, walking back.
Nami: "*cries* I can't stand this..." she had her hands on her mouth.
Luffy gets his hat and places it back on his head.
Luffy: "Do what you want with the Merry. We'll get a new ship and move on the seas ahead! *continues walking*"
Usopp did hear him. He twitches his hand and made it into a fist.
Luffy: "Well then, bye, Usopp... It's been fun."
Chopper quickly gets his bag and tries to treat Usopp. But Sanji stops the reindeer from doing so, he struggles to hold Chopper back as he turned into his human form. But Sanji pins him down.
Sanji: "He lost the duel. On top of that, he gets pitied. Imagine just how miserable that must make him feel! Imagine how much suffering careless kindness can cause the loser! He fought a duel knowing full well this was how it might turn out!"
Luffy stops in front of the crew. Zoro and (Y/N) looked at him with their neutral face, Nami gave a captain a look with tears and sadness.
Luffy: "This is really tough..."
Zoro: "That's what it means to be a captain, isn't it? Don't lose yourself. If you waver, who can we trust?" he asked the captain.
Chopper ends up running in tears to Usopp.
(Y/N): "Let's vacate the ship."
Chopper was done, he gave the medical materials that Usopp will need and ran back.
(Y/N): "We're not going to return to the ship, so..."
Luffy held his hat down to hide his eyes, but a waterfall of tears went down on his face. Usopp was crying puddle of his tears on the ground.
