Deep in the forest, near a dense swamp, a group of vultures who migrated to poke island for a vacation, sat around bored to their feathers. One of the vultures, buzzy, looks to his friend flaps
Buzzy: hey flaps. What we gonna do?
Flaps: I dunno. What you wanna do?
Ziggy: I've got it! Let's flap over to the univa region. They've always got a bit of action, a bit of a swinging scene alright?
Buzzy: aw come off it. Everything's right dead all over
Ziggy: you mean you wish they were!
The trio start laughing at the joke except for Izzy
Izzy: very funny
They all stop
Buzzy: okay. So what we gonna do?
Flaps:.... I dunno. What you wanna do?
Buzzy: look flaps, first I say "what we gonna do?" Then you say "I dunno, what you wanna do?" Then I say "what we gonna do" you say "what you wanna do" what we gonna do what you- let's do something!
Flaps: okay. What you wanna do?
Buzzy: oh blimey. There you go again the same note again!
Ziggy: I've got it! This time I've really got it!
Buzzy: so you've got it. So what we gonna do?
Izzy: hold it lads. Look! Look what's coming our way!
Flaps: hey what in the world is that?
They all see Steven in his human form wandering into the swamp
Ziggy: that a crazy looking bunch o bones
Izzy: yeah and their all walking about by themselves!
The vultures start laughing, meanwhile Steven sits on a stone looking down at the water disgusted by what he did to charmelion
Buzzy: so what we gonna do?
Flaps: I dunno. Hey now don't start that's again!
Ziggy: (pushing friends off tree) come on lads, come I let's have some fun with this little fella, this little bloke
The vultures fly down next to Steven and have a closer look at him
Flaps: blimey! He's got hands and feet like a crocodile he has!
Buzzy: like a crocodile, but he ain't got no snout and tail he ain't!
The vultures laugh but it just makes Steven feel worse
Steven: leave me alone ya bunch of buzzards!
Steven leaves the group who start to get concerned
Izzy: what's wrong with him?
Flaps: I think we overdid it
Izzy: we were jus having a bit of fun we was
Buzzy: aww jay look at him. Why the poor little fella. Ya know he must be down on his luck
Izzy: yeah. Or he wouldn't be in our neighborhood
The vultures catch up with him
Buzzy: hey kid! Wait a Minuit!
Steven: go away
Buzzy: aww come on what's wrong? Ya know you look like ya ain't got a friend in the world
Steven: I used to. But I left them
Ziggy: why you do that?
Steven: because I only make things worse for everybody, I make my friends lose their families, their homes, and I made my friend so hurt he started bleeding. I don't deserve to be around anybody
Buzzy: aww poor kid. We know how ya feel
Izzy: nobody wants us around either
Buzzy: aww we may look a bit shabby, but we've got hearts
Izzy: and feelings too
Buzzy: and just to prove it to ya, we're gonna let you join our little group!
Flaps: kid, we'd like to make you an honorary vulture
Steven: (leaves) thanks but I'd be better off alone so I don't annoy anybody and be let down
Buzzy: aww now look kid, everybody's gotta have friends!
Buzzy turns to the others
Buzzy; hey fellas! Are we his friends?
The Vultures: 🎶We're your friends

We're your friends to the bitter end (the bitter end)
(Steven sits by the water)

(Vultures gather around him)

(Vultures pick him up)

(Buzzy: give us a smile)

Buzz is: come on kid we need a tener
(He pushes Steven to flaps and Izzy)

(Steven starts to feel better)

(Steven shakes their talons)

(Stevens friends come looking for him)

(They see him and the vultures)
In fact we never met an animal we didn't like
Buzzy: haha, you take it kid
Steven and vultures:🎶didn't like
The Vultures: So you can see

(Buzzy: whoops, take it easy legs)
We'll keep you safe
(Buzzy: steady, steady, watch it!)

The vultures and Steven see his friends come to him
Timon: hey kid
Latias: are you okay?
Steven: I am now
Variety gives him his rainbow wing

Variety: do you have any idea how long we've been looking for you?!

Steven: sorry. I just felt so bad that...
Sorrel: do you honestly think that you'll win every battle? It's the times we lose that we truly see what a trainers made of. But that's just my opinion
