"Mom I'm just going to pop's" I tell mom who's clutching on to me
"But sweetheart I don't want anything else to happen to you"
"Dad!" He sighed
"May she'll be fine we have Xavier who will be informing us if anything happens"

"Fine" she hugs me I hugged her back
"Be safe okay" I nod then leave while riding their I get a a small flashback when I was seven years old

Her her older sister and three of her older sister friends were playing Celeste wanted to play with the big girls so she held her doll in her arm and walked over but she looked down and saw the yellow line and knew she couldn't cross it then the two older girls ran over to her
"venha jogar conosco (come play with us)"

"Eu não sou um choro, baby, eu posso jogar relógio (I'm not a cry baby i can play watch)" Celeste steps out side the yellow line and goes play with the other two girls when her mom steps outside
"Celeste hora do almoço (Celeste lunch time)" she didn't see her youngest daughter now where
"Celeste?" Her older brother saw Celeste playing outside the line
"Celeste!" That caught her attention Xavier was young at the time goes gets young Celeste and brings her to her mom
"Celeste quantas vezes eu tenho que te dizer, você não pode cruzar essa linha (how many times do i have to tell you, you can't cross that line)" Celeste drop in her head in shame looking at her small feet

"We're here miss. Cruz" I was snapped out my thoughts by Xavier
"Oh thank you Xavier"
"I'll be waiting right here miss" I nod walk into pop's and see Archie with the others
"Archie? Oh my gosh your back" I go hug him
"Hey Celeste"
"Hey celly how are you"
"I'm fine now lucky mom and dad had me under bed surveillance to make sure I was well" then we ordered our shakes
"Two chocolates, a mint chocolate, one vanilla, and a root beer float for Archie. Welcome home, son."
"Thanks, Pop."
"Since when do you drink root beer floats? I guess I'm just not in the mood for a strawberry milkshake."
"New drink, new hair, new haunted, vacant look in your eyes..."
"Dude." I told jug
"Guys. Archie just lived through The Revenant. Let him order what he wants."
"So what'd I miss while I was gone?"
"Well, thanks to the town quarantine orchestrated by my father, Pop's was shut-down and just reopened. And he's also been attacking shipments to the speakeasy. But, thankfully, I've hired the Serpents as my full-time protection, and that service extends to you, Archie."
"You don't have to worry about Hiram's goons coming after you or your dad. You won't be able to see 'em, but I have guys watching you, 24/7. And I have a possible lead that could diffuse this threat permanently."
"What, Jug?"
"You can't tell anyone. Fangs is deep undercover in the Gargoyle Gang. He hasn't met the King yet, but he's still working on it and when we get access to him, we're gonna take him down. My bet is that it's Hiram underneath the mask." Awkward
"Sorry, Veronica."
"Don't be. I wouldn't put it past him."
"Well, there goes studying for the SATs."
"What? SATs?"
"Yeah, they're this Saturday. Don't worry, Arch. I'll help you study and get you caught up, okay? We all will." I nod then pop's walks over
"I'm sorry, Betty, but your debit card was declined."
"I got you, Bee. Just put it on my tab, Pop." I went back home to study
Eric POV
I went with FP and Fred to go see Hiram once at his office three of my men were behind us
"Fred Andrews, Eric Cruz, FP Jones... What can I do for you fellas?"
"I came to let you know that my son is home. Permanently."
"He is? Well, that's just great, Fred."
"Cut the crap, Hiram. We all know you have it out for his kid."
"I'll stop you right there. I've never wished any harm to... either of your sons. Or your daughter"
"Let's not forget you send that boy to shoot the kid that's shot my girl Hiram" I growled solfty at him
"Hiram, if you harm a hair on Archie's head, I will kill you. Make no mistake about it. And I will be at peace with whatever the consequences of that are." Then we left
Celeste POV
dad always had tutors for me so I could do my best or my siblings would always teach me the next day
at school I was walking to class when I felt a pair of arms around me I look back and see Emilio I smile
"Hey"
"Hello my beauty" we began to walk
"So how do you feel about the SATS"
"Well I'm ready what about you"
"Ehh sort of" I turn to face him
"Emilio haven't you been studying"
"I don't see a reason to" I pout
"Really what about for us don't you want to graduate with me"
"Of course I do"
"Well then it Seattle your coming to my house and your studying with me my parents won't be their since they'll be out of town for business"
"That's cool" I smiled once back home we study and kind of mess around a bit until I get a call from Veronica
"Yes..... Oh sure..... Yeah yeah yeah I'll be there" I hang up grab the blanket and started getting dressed while Emilio was on my bed naked
"So what did lodge want"
"She wanted us to go and celebrate Archibald return"
"Oh cool"
"Get dressed baby I'll ask my daddy men to give you some clothes" he nods once we're dressed
we leave and once Archie come
"Surprise!"
"What is... what is all this?"
"Well, it was going to be a study party, but that was before you came back home to us. So now it's a Study/Welcome Home party, Archie, complete with a musical amuse bouche provided by moi. So take a seat, lover, and let me entertain" we all sat down and Veronica sang but couple minutes in Archie gets panicy and leaves once back home
"Well that was some sort of party I guess" said Emilio
"His been threw a lot maybe a party wasn't a good idea" he nods we head back to my room cuddle and sleep a couple days later
it was time for the SATS and I was nervous but I prayed and calmed myself down once in class
"You have minutes to complete the first portion of the SAT Math section. When you are finished, do not skip ahead to other sections.I will issue a five-minute warning for your convenience prior to the time limit. Do you all understand? Good. You may begin." During the test Archie gets up
"Is there a problem?" And leaves the Veronica gets up
"Archie..." And tries to go after him but
"If you follow him out that door, it's an automatic zero." Poor Arch after testing I was home and relaxed but I had a bad feeling about something but ignored it called dad and asked him if I could go upstate for a day.
