You were lying on your couch and reading after you had just got yelled by Tony. Your mother, Pepper, hadn't been that glad about your behavior in school either. But she didn't yell at you as much as Tony did. Gosh it was humiliating, specially when other avengers decided to show up in the middle of your argument.
Tony had sent you into your room and now you weren't allowed to left the tower, except for school. Two weeks of this and for what? You just defended yourself, but no one ever believes you.
Suddenly your door opened and Clint walked in.
"Hey sis, I heard about the fight. What the heck is going on inside your head?" he asked immediately, he stood in front of you, looking little disappointed, but also proud.
"She was going to attack on me first, I just defended myself." you grumbled. You were still pissed off.
"Of course you did... but they don't know that you are avenger and we need to keep it that way. Fury's orders, remember?" Clint tried to remind you about your deal with Nick Fury.
The deal says that you can't tell anyone that you are avenger and no one can't know that you have powers either. Fury wanted to keep you in secret as long as possible, because it could be useful for the team if they had someone who your enemies wouldn't know about. But you, Fury, Clint and the whole team knew that it will discover to the world in some point, someday. But until that, you need to keep a low-profile.
"Of course I remember! Did Tony send you here or why are you attacking at me on this too?!" you murmured. Clint looked at you amused and sat down next to you.
"No he didn't, I just... I want to keep you safe." he stuttered and rubbed his neck nervously.
"From what? School?" you chuckled and rolled your eyes.
"Well.... that too." he said and smiled at you.
'That too'? What did he meant by that? Well, you just could easily read his mind to figure it out, but you had promised to your best friend that you wouldn't read his mind. He didn't like it and you knew damn well why. Of course you read his mind sometimes, but just for fun and you liked to tease him.

Evening hit and you were in the common room with Clint. With little help from your mother, Tony allowed you to spend time with your friends in the tower.
"What the heck?!" Clint yelled in the middle of his show what you two were watching. His favorite character just chose the wrong woman (in Clint's opinion). You looked at him amused, because you had knew that it was going to happen.
"Oh hi guys." Peter entered into the room and walked over you. Clint hissed at him and turned on his show again.
"Hi." you replied and smiled at him kindly.
"Can I talk to you, for a second?" Peter asked and pointed his finger towards the bar counter of your father's. You nodded and he led you to sit on the chair.
"I'm worried about you, Y/N." Peter said with concerned tone in his voice. He looked worried and little bit of.. sad? when he looked at you.
"Why? I'm alright." you said confidently and raised your eyebrow.
"Your acting lately... it's been unusual. I heard in school about your fight, and it's not just that. You have been quite quiet lately too. Tell me if something is wrong so I can help you." he told you softly and gently. He truly worried about you.
"Yeah about that fight... you know that Wilson girl. She's a bully! I just.. lost it. This is just all about the stress, that's all." you tried to convince him and it actually looked like it worked. Peter sighed in relief and then gave you a warm, pure hearted smile.
"I know, she's awful person. I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you." he told you, this time with regret in his voice.
"Hey, that's alright. You can't be all the time around, besides I can protect myself. As you can see." you said and smirked a little. Peter laughed and then pulled you into hug and kissed you.
"I know you can.." he whispered to your ear.
"Alright lovebirds! Are you done?" Clint shouted from the couch and signed you to sit down with him. You two laughed and then walked over him and sat down.
"Oh, I know this show! Gosh I hate this episode." Peter said as he settled into more comfortable position.
"Hey, no spoilers!" Clint grumbled while you laughed at them.
"You two okay?" Clint whispered during the episode. You looked at Peter and smiled a bit, he didn't notice because he was so into the show.
"Yeah, we're just perfectly fine." you answered and smiled at your best friend.
"Our little paradise is glowing." you added and Clint laughed at that.
And it was true, you really felt like your relationship with Peter was getting better. It has its ups and downs (more like downs lately), but it's part of your journey together.

First week of your ground has finally ended, now you had only one week left.
"Why? I want to come too, I'm an avenger, remember?" you grumbled at your father in the middle of the common room.
Steve had called you all for a mission, but now Tony didn't let you come.
"No, you're grounded. So it means you stay here." he grumbled back. Then you looked angrily at Steve who lifted his arms up immediately.
"Don't look at me, I'm not going to fight your father on this." Steve said and stepped aside. You rolled your eyes, disappointed that he didn't help you. You knew that without any kind of help from other avengers, Tony wouldn't let you come. And clearly none of them didn't want to argue with Tony right now, you were his daughter after all.
"They are not gonna help you and we are not gonna discuss this any longer. You stay here and that's it." Tony told you firmly and raised his eyebrows for a sign that you understood.
"Fine..." you murmured and it made Tony happy. Clint and Peter looked at you apologizing, but then followed the others to the ship on the roof. You didn't expect that neither of them would stand up against Tony. Peter didn't have the courage and he didn't want to defy your father. And Clint, he just didn't want to get you into worse trouble than you already were. You didn't blame them, though.
"Oh and watch over Morgan, Pepper had something business in downtown. She'll be back by the evening." Tony ordered. You sighed and rolled your eyes. You really didn't want to babysit her right now. Of course your loved your sister, but you weren't in the mood to play with her at the moment.
Then the team left, leaving you there all alone.
Or not all alone after all.
"Y/N!" you heard a little girl's scream when Morgan ran to you. You lifted her up in your arms and she wrapped hers around your neck.
"So, what you wanna do?" you asked, trying to sound as happy as possible. You always wanted to make her happy.
"What about we sneak into daddy's lab?" Morgan suggested with little evil look in her eyes. You laughed, you were proud of her, she clearly had learned something from you.
"Yeah let's do that. You really know how to have fun." you said and carried her into the elevator.
You headed to Tony's (and Bruce's) lab and you put Morgan down. She ran immediately to look at your father's latest invention and grabbed it.
"Be careful, we don't know..." but you didn't even get to finish your sentence, when the thing shot something out of its mouth and it made a big hole in the wall.
"Alright, we will put this back..." you mumbled and took it carefully out of your sister's hands.
"You okay?" you asked. Morgan just nodded, smiled and headed back to search for something else. That little girl didn't get scared easily.
You played with Tony's inventions the whole evening and gladly didn't make more mess than the hole. You checked the time and noticed that it was time to Morgan to get some sleep.
"Okay little sister, it's time for a bed." you ordered and took Tony's second Iron-man suit's helmet off of her head.
"But I'm not tired." Morgan whined while you grabbed her hand and led her out of the room.
"You will be." you told her as you walked inside the elevator.
"Can I have popsicle first?" she asked innocently tone in her voice while she looked up at you. You smiled back and ruffled her hair.
"Of course." you replied and next went to the kitchen to grab her one.
"You done?" you asked when you noticed that she had eaten it all. Morgan nodded and handed you the stick.
"Alright, go to bed now." you ordered next and watched her to climb on the bed.
"When daddy comes back?" she asked suddenly after you had covered her with her blanket.
"I don't know, soon probably." you told her kindly. But she looked sad and worried.
"Do you... do you ever think that he might not come back someday?" she asked, stuttering. You looked at her confused and then grabbed her hand in yours.
"Why do you think that?" you asked, concerned tone in your voice.
"Because I've heard that those missions he goes, are dangerous. What if he dies?" Morgan replied, still sounding worried. That poor little innocent sister of yours.
"He won't. He's a good fighter and he couldn't leave you here without a father." you told her as you ran your fingers through her hair.
Morgan looked now more relaxed and relieved by your words.
"Go to sleep now, father will be here when you wake up." you added and leaned down to kiss her head. She smiled and wished you good night while you walked out of her room.
