Taehyung shuffled in his bed, repeating the same conversation for what seemed like the 15th time in his head already. He wondered why his heart skipped a beat when Kookie talked about dating. He tried to push away these thoughts and focus on sleeping but whenever he closed his eyes, he felt his cheeks and ears heat up as he remembered the conversations. He realised only today that he absolutely loves it when Kookie calls him baby.
Did I really fall for a guy I haven't met? He thought
|THE NEXT DAY : IN UNIVERSITY|
"TAETAEEEEEEEEEE"
"CHIMCHIMMMMMMMM"
Taehyung and Jimin enveloped each other in a hug as they saw each other in the hallway.
"I haven't seen you in so long Tae" Jimin fake cried in Taehyung's shoulder.
"I know right Chim" Taehyung replied.
"Why the fuck are you two so loud? This is a bloody university, not a circus"
"Ahh you're no fun Yoongi Hyung, you're always complaining" Taehyung frowned at him
"Whatever" Yoongi said as he walked away.
"Wait a minute, when did you two last see each other?" Jin asked the two.
"Uh this morning?" Jimin replied
"That's 'so long' to you?" Jin asked with a blank expression
"I didn't see him for 3 whole hours, are you kidding?" Jimin replied
"Oh my god" Jin sighed as he grabbed Namjoon's arm and walked away.
Then, as if Taehyung and Jimin weren't making enough noise, there came the loudest voice of all.
"I'M YOUR HOPE, YOU'RE MY HOPE, I'M...."
"J-HOOOOOOPEEEEEEEEEEE" Yoongi screamed from the end of the hallway. Taehyung and Jimin looked at each other in disbelief, "Who called whom loud again?" Jimin asked
"Hobi hyung, you're too loud" Taehyung said
"Look who's talking" came a new voice.
"Jungkook?!!" Taehyung exclaimed
Jungkook had the seen the entire scene from one corner of the corridor. He secretly laughed, realising just how loud Taehyung was.
"Who's he Tae?" Jimin and Hoseok asked at the same time.
"This is my friend, Jeon Jungkook. We met at a very special occasion" Taehyung said as he wrapped an arm around Jungkook.
Jungkook's heart raced at the thought of him being Taehyung's friend in real life too.
"What occasion?" Jimin asked
"Detention" Taehyung said and Jungkook snorted
Hoseok smiled brightly at that making the other three smile in return.
"Guys I'mma head out before the sprite gets over byee" Hoseok says as he walks away.
"Tae, I have an assignment to finish, you two have fun" Jimin patted Taehyung's shoulder and smiled at Jungkook.
Once Jimin left, Taehyung and Jungkook walked to an empty classroom and took a seat on the chairs.
"I love these rooms man. They're so silent and the lights turned off just make it better" Taehyung says
"Yup I totally agree" Jungkook says as he leans his head back on the wall. He liked this a lot, being able to talk to Taehyung in real life too. Well, he kinda loved it. One thing he had to admit though was that seeing Taehyung with Jimin made him a little jealous. Even when he read their comments, he felt the same. But knowing that two were only friends, he pushed aside those thoughts. One thing that he couldn't deny was that he had started liking Taehyung, a lot.
"So we're friends now huh?" Jungkook broke the silence.
"Are we not?" Taehyung asked.
"I would like to say we are"
"Then, we are" Taehyung replied. Both of them smiled.
"Quick question," Taehyung said
"Are you gay?"
Jungkook chuckled, remembering a 5 month old conversation he had had with Taehyung on the same topic.
"Yes, very much am"
"Niceee, I like you even more now" Taehyung replied
"You like me?"
"Yes, you're fun. There are so many similarities between you and my bestfriend, it's creepy"
Jungkook laughed at the irony.
"Why do you talk about your bestfriend so much?" Jungkook asked
Taehyung leaned a little closer to Jungkook. Not close enough to say he was invading Jungkook's personal space, but close enough to make Jungkook's heart race and fully appreciate Taehyung's beauty.
"To be honest," Taehyung began in a deep, husky voice. Jungkook gulped.
"He's all I think about all day"
