At the photoshoot
I'm Amelia, I'm 20 years old. I'm a full time model. I model a lot of fashion nova clothing line. I was at work right now modeling for another fashion nova clothing line.
"Give me attitude " My Photo photographer Jimmy said
I gave Jimmy some attitude as he took several pictures.
"Alright I think we got enough for today, good job" Jimmy said smiling
"Thank you, can I see?" I asked
"Of course!" Jimmy said
"I took a lot, but this one right here is my favorite" Jimmy said
"Let's see" I said
"This one is good!" I said smiling
"This one is the one then" Jimmy said emailing the picture
"I'm going on break" I said walking away
"Be back in 15" Jimmy said
"Gotcha" I said
I walked towards the break room we had and sat down. In about 15mins I was going to have to change into a different outfit. So while I'm waiting I decided to stroll through my Instagram. I strolled and strolled until I saw my favorite rapper. NBA Youngboy. I loved me some Youngboy. I looked at the picture that he posted on the gram.

A concert tomorrow? Today's Thursday. I put a like to the picture and kept strolling. I wanted to so bad go to this concert but there was nobody I knew to get the tickets from. No need to be excited only to dream.
As I was stalking Youngboys page my cousin Mya busted in the break room. Yeah that's right, my cousin works here too. The only reason I told them I would work here unless Mya was here. So they hired Mya to be a assistant manger. My assistant manger.
"Bitch did you see the post Youngboy made?" Mya asked sitting down
"Yes I did" I said continuing to stroll on Instagram
"And bitch why are you not excited?" Mya asked
"What is there to get excited about? We can't go" I said
"Says who?" Mya said pulling out tickets
"Bitch!" I said taking the tickets from her
The tickets she bought indeed was the Youngboy tickets. But how the hell did she get them if Youngboy just posted about them.
"I know I know. Best cousin ever" Mya said smiling
"How did you even get these if he just posted about them?" I asked in shock
"Girl the tickets been out. He just posted that to get more sellers" Mya said
"Bitch do you know how much I love him?" I asked
"Yes I do." Mya said
"I love you!" I said hugging Mya
"I love you too. But there's more" Mya said
"What? " I asked
"Close your eyes" Mya said
I closed my eyes.
"Okay, open now" Mya said holding backstages passes
"No you didn't " I said
"Yes I did" Mya said smiling
"BACKSTAGE PASSES?! " I said now screaming
"Shhh! Yes" Mya said smiling
"Girl I love love love love you" I said hugging her
"I love you way more" Mya said
"But wait. I don't want to go" I said putting the tickets on the table
"What? Why?" Mya asked
"Because I don't" I said
"Well you going. I went through so much to get these tickets, you going" Mya said
"I don't want to go" I said
As soon as I said that I got a notification from twitter of what Jania tweeted.
Jania tweeted:
Go support my baby daddy tomorrow night! 💙
I sucked my teeth as I read the notification.
"What?" Mya asked
"Jania's tweet" I said
"Oh yeah. Really surprised they getting along" Mya said
"They have that on and off relationship " I said
"That still doesn't answer my question to why you don't want to go" Mya said
"Because!" I said
"Jimmy wants you to change outfits now" The dresser said
"Okay" I said
"We'll talk about this later" Mya said walking out
I got up and went into my dressing room to change outfits for my next shoot. I really did want to go to the Youngboy concert but at the same time I was scared to go. I should go though, this is only a one time thing. It might not ever happen again.
"Okay I'm just going to freshen up your makeup just a little bit and then you can go back out there" My makeup artist said
"Don't put much. I'm not really a makeup person" I said
"Yes ma'am " She said
About 5mins later she was done and I headed back to set.
"Right on time. " Jimmy said
"I always am" I said
"Okay let's get these last shots and you can go home. " okay" I said
"Give me more seriousness!" Jimmy said
"Give me a model face! " Jimmy said
30mins later
"Alright Amelia, you off tomorrow so I'll see you Monday morning 11am" Jimmy said
"Thanks! I'll see you then" I said
I walked back into the break room to grab my things and to wait on Mya. As I was grabbing my coat Mya came into the room.
"I'm hungry" Mya said
"Girl" I said
"Let's go out to eat or something and we can talk about this later" Mya said
"Fine, where?" I asked walking out
"Let's go to like Applebee's or something. We could get like a drink " Mya said
"Fine let's go" I said
"I need to stop by the pet store to get some food for Paisley" I said referring to my puppy
"You and this dog" Mya said unlocking her door
"He's not a puppy he's my child" I said
"It's a dog, when's the last time you actually got some?" Mya asked
"Girl what?" I said buckling my seat belt
"Dont what me. You know exactly what I'm talking about" Mya said
"Like 2 years ago" I said
"You telling me you don't want to go to this concert? You don't know who you could meet at this concert, hell you might even get some" Mya said
"Yeah that won't happen because I won't let it" I said watching his Snapchat
"See you even watching his Snapchat right now" Mya said
"Okay and " I said
"Please Amelia!" Mya said
"Fine fine. I'll go. But right after the concert we're leaving" I said
Mya finally pulled in to Applebee's parking lot and found the closest parking lot she could. We finally got out and headed into the restaurant. We waited until somebody came to greet us.
"Just two?" She said
"Yes" I said
"Follow me" She said
Me and Mya followed her to a nice booth and sat down. She placed the menus down.
"Let's start yall off with something to drink " She said
"I'll have a sweet tea" I said
"Give me a sweet tea too" Mya said
"So we going tomorrow right?" Mya asked
"Yes" I said
"Then we need to go to the mall first thing the morning" Mya said
"I have something my closet " I said
"Girl no. We shopping tomorrow no arguments" Mya said
"Girl who are we impressing?" I asked
"Our selfs." Mya said
"Whatever" I said
The thing between me and Mya is that me and her are two different people. Mya is more of the party type lots of boyfriends type. I'm the chill, laid back type. I just model go home and sleep.
"When you get you a man. Thank me later" Mya said
"I won't be getting one" I said
"And we aren't going back home after the concert we have backstage tickets" Mya said
The waiter came and took our orders and said it would be about a 20 min wait.
"Do we have to?" I said
"Girl yes and you'll love it" Mya said
"Okay" I said
40 mins later
Me and Mya finished eating and was heading back home. Mya parked on the side of the road waiting for me to get out.
Amelia House
"I'll pick you up around 2:00pm the concert starts at 8:00pm "Mya said
"Okay. I'm driving tomorrow " I said grabbing my food
"Okay. Goodnight. Tell Paisley I said hi " Mya said
"I will" I said chuckling
I grabbed my keys out of my pocket and unlocked the door to my house. Once I unlocked the door Paisley jumped up on my legs.
"Hi girl. You hungry?" I asked
Paisley wagged her tail and sat down telling me that she was hungry. I went into the kitchen behind my washing machine and grabbed Paisley food. I poured a little in her food side and put some water in the other side.
"There you go baby" I said sitting it down so she could eat it
While Paisley was eating I went into my room to take a quick shower. I took off my clothes and put some music on. I played Genie.
"Don't tell me that you love if you ain't gone ride for me you can stay the fuck around me if you ain't gone die for me" I said rapping along with the song
40 mins later
I got out the shower and dried off and wrapped my towel around me. I blushed my teeth and put my bonnet on. I went into my walk in closet and got my t-shirt and shorts and underwear out. I put my underwear on and T-shirt on and my pants. I walked into my bedroom and got into bed. It was really late around 12:00am now. I seen Paisley on the floor laying down already fast asleep. I put my phone on the charger cut my lamp off and was fast asleep.
