Noah's pov.
Dear Noah,
I don't exactly know how to start this, I mean what do you even say to your sibling that you've never met before. It's like writing to a stranger, except for some reason I feel connected to this stranger. I want to know this stranger. This stranger is my brother.
What?
"Who the letter from?" Anastasia, my twin asked.
"My sister".
Stas just laughs, as if the thought of me having a sister was a joke.
"I'm not kidding" I sigh, giving her the letter.
"You have.. We, have a sister?" She gasps.
"We should ask mom".
We get up and head to the hospital, where our mom is a nurse.
On our way Stas gets emotional, like always.
"How is this even possible?" She sighs as tears stream down her face.
I put a comforting hand on her shoulder as the other stays on the wheel.
"It'll be okay".
When we finally get to our destination, Stas is the first to storm out of the car like an angry little munchkin.
"Stas wait!" I yell, left behind.
I rush to catch up with my sister, only to see she's already getting in the elevator.
"Stas wait!" I say again.
She holds the elevator doors with a sigh as I get in.
We hit the desired floor and wait for what feels like forever for the doors to finally open.
Right as we turn a corner, we see our mothers familiar face.
"Noah? Stas? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at school?" She asks.
"Teacher work day" I smile.
"Stas, why do you seem upset?".
"Because I am upset!" Stas shouts.
"Why? Did Jared cheat on you again?".
"No, he... Do we have a sister?" Stas asks.
"Why?..."
I give her the letter, which she takes and read carefully.
"Can we talk about this when I get off?".
"No, just tell us" I say.
She starts to cry.
"Why are you... Oh my gid it's true!" Stas shouts. "We have a fucking sister".
"Dad cheated?" I ask.
"Dad, isn't your dad" mom cried. "He is Lila's, but not yours".
Lila is our little sister.
"So.. You cheated?" Stas asks.
"I'm not proud of it" mom says, wiping her tears. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys sooner, but I just found out not too long ago".
"How long ago?" I ask.
"Last year".
"You had all this time to tell us" Stas shouts.
"Stasie, calm down" I say, hugging her.
She hugs back as she takes a deep breath.
"We'll be staying over uncle Vincents tonight" I say to my mother.
"But.."
"Along with Lila" Stas adds.
"Please.."
"Don't" I say, "we need time".
