"𝓤no out!" Jaylanie yelled, throwing down her last card onto the pile, making it her fifth win in a row, her voice echoing throughout the facility's kitchen.

Bruce sucked his teeth, throwing down his giant Uno cards as his hands were entirely too big for the regular ones. "Don't get too excited, you just got lucky."

Jaylanie gave him an incredulous look. "For the fifth time in a row? Yeah, I don't think so. You just suck."

There was silence between them as Jaylanie began packing up the cards, putting them in their respected boxes, and Bruce, packing up his and Jaylanie's tacos and burritos for the trip to New Asgard to get Thor.

Jaylanie was excited, but also extremely nervous. Getting the whole team ready made it feel real, and she was starting to regret it. 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀? 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁? 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀?

"It's gonna be okay, Rose," Bruce reassured her, a small smile on his face, closing the container shut.

"Huh?" She hopped off the metal bar stool, pushing it in. "I don't know what you're talking about."
