chapter 9: confession

It's been 2 months since naruto broke up with hinata.
Narutos job of hokage was going smoothly. He just finished his work and was leaving the rest to his best pal shikamaru nara.
the smartest and laziest man he knows. Meanwhile in the hospital there were no new patients. Sakura was told she had a day off.
A break from helping people.
Not that she doesn't like helping people, she loves helping people it's just medics needs rest and time to talk their freinds too.
So She decided to take the opportunity to ask Naruto if he wanted to do something together, you know like freinds.
So she walked over to naruto's house. she invited naruto over to the training grounds to train.
The pinkette was still spending time with her teammate but she was also getting stronger in the process.
Brilliant!
"Are we going now?" Naruto asked.
"Yes you knuckle head, I got the day off!" She exclaimed.
The blonde closed his eyes ready to feel sakuras hand hurt him.
But there was no punching just a happy girl smiling and giggling.
"Just c'mon silly."
She said.
"Coming!"
The blonde walked off with sakura to the training grounds.

Naruto and sakura arrived at the training grounds near 5:00 pm. sakura took her fighting position.
The blonde did the same.
"Ready?!" Naruto asked shouting across the big feild.
"Yeah!" She replied.
The blonde ran at sakura.
"Shadow clone justu!"
The blonde focused his chakra into a rotating ball that was composed by the 4th hokage also Naruto's dad.
Only Naruto, Konahamaru, Master jeriya, and of course dad could use it.
Only him and konahamaru were the ones who were alive that could use it.
"Here it comes sakura!" He yelled.
The blonde threw the rasengan at sakura causing a big dust cloud to surround the pinkette.
Naruto couldn't tell what happened from all of the dust.
The blonde was free falling.
"S-sakura!!" Naruto yelled.
He started to think he killed her.
The blonde then heard the pinkettes voice behind him.
"Never Let your Guard down... Naruto!!" Sakura used her elbow and slammed him into the ground.
a Crater surrounded naruto.
Sakura landed on the ground peacefully placing her foot on Naruto.
"That's how... you do it..."
Sakura collapsed from exhaustion.
"You beat me... Sakura..."
Naruto said.
"You let your guard down..."
She replied.
"I did didn't I..."
"Are you... Ok?"
Naruto asked.
"I should be asking you that naruto..." "I just used a little to much chakra up there....that's all..."
She replied limping towards her teammate.
"Also Im the one who slammed you into the ground."
She said sitting the blonde up.
"Are you hurt anywhere?" Sakura asked.
The blonde pulled his shirt up to reveal a gnash down his chest.
"Yeah just right there."
"Oh my... Im sorry naruto.."
"Eh... We were training... It's fine.."
Sakura concentrated her chakra to heal naruto.
"Thanks sakura-chan..."
"Yeah no problem."
"Train tommorow I got the day off tommorow as well."
Sakura said letting naruto's shirt fall back down.
"Yeah same time tommorow 4:00pm."
"I should be done with work by then."
Naruto replied.
"Um..ok..."
The blonde started to walk home when sakura stopped him.
"Hey naruto..."
"Yeah sakura-chan?"
"What happened with you and hinata?"
"She cheated on me with saskue."
Naruto replied.
"Oh ok... Well... Now that brings me to my second question."
"Can you sit down for this one naruto?"
Sakura asked.
"Um... Sure.."
Naruto sat by sakura on a nearby bench.
"What is it?"
"Naruto.. I.. love you...."
"I love you alot naruto.."
"You and me.."
"We've been together on the same team since the academy."
"And the more I spend time with you the more my feelings grow for you."
"I know I've told you this before."
"Then I never meant it."
"I was still chasing saskue."
"I was completely blind."
"But now I really do love you naruto."
"And.. and I know you love me to.." sakura stated.
"Right... You do... Love me right...?"
The blonde stood up.
"Sakura... I've been waiting so long for you to say that to me and meaning it."
"I've always loved you."
"When I was with hinata... I still loves you."
"But I tried to move on."
"I knew I would never move on though."
"I was meant to be with you."
"You.. were meant to be with me.."
Naruto pulled sakura up out of her seat.
"Now... Shall we go home my cherry blossom?"
"Oh... So romantic."
Sakura said sarcastically giggling.
"Yes we shall..."
